Specifically, one resolve move is OP (Song of Splendour), and another is quite good (Allure). You're not going to be defeating anything with Soul Arrow, Shadow Magic, or Carnal Hex.Because resolve damage is fucking OP.
Yes, but when some enemies are utterly uninterested in sex the fact that they're in a porn game does not matter. Shockingly, the devs have decided that they aren't going to allow you a single build that will work in all situations, as part of the gameplay balancing act..I'd like a bit of variety there, and some sort of way to function against immune enemies with a lust-based party. It's a sex game, I think sex builds should be supported.
Soul Arrow works wonders on Sigrune though, if you want to get past her with a sqishier or lower-leveled party. Well, it's probably no longer quite as good after a couple rounds of combat rebalancing but it's still a viable skill to use against enemies with less Resolve than Health and who can't be defeated by shaking your ass at them.Specifically, one resolve move is OP (Song of Splendour), and another is quite good (Allure). There are other 2 coming. Berwyn will be able to become futa and Agni, future phoenix companion, will also be able to grow a shaft. Both of them are written by B. So no worries there, you will not need to stuck with Arona. It really saddens me that it looks like we're going to end up with only one futa companion.
Two would be nice. I mean, more would be great, but at least one that wasn't so...Arona.

What about Etheryn? She has a dick - and if you don't count her because her chastity cage blocks her cock, it's going to come off eventually. It really saddens me that it looks like we're going to end up with only one futa companion.

I've seen the term 'futa' be used to refer to any chick with a dick, regardless of whether they have a pussy. Under this logic, Etheryn counts. Personally, I prefer it that way since otherwise it'd be redundant to herm (or at least femherm) and we'd have no generic, single-word term for 'chick with a dick'.I think for a character to be considered a futa then that character also has to have a vagina along with that penis. Etheryn hasn’t.

I don't think that's doing to happen, considering how long resolve and resolve-based or related things have been in the game. Now, I'm like 95% certain that I've seen one of the higher ups (maybe Savin, maybe Fen, maybe even someone else, I'm not sure) basically just straight up say "Whatever the next game we make after this will just not have tease/lust combat because it's just such a pain" (paraphrased), but I don't think it'll get removed in this game.Or maybe the whole Resolve system is still on the chopping block... it would be sad, but given that it currently rests on two strong powers and nothing else, I think it's a real possibility. There's comparatively very little investment into it, and I suspect no one wants to balance it (understandably, balance is super hard), so it might just get trashed at some point.

Hermaphrodite in japanese is futanari. It's literally the same thing, just in different languages. Ah. I forgot about that term when I was writing that post, though I've mostly only seen it used to refer to those without pussies.DIckgirl.
'Hermaphrodite' comes from Greek mythology; he's the son of Hermes and Aphrodite, who got fused with a nymph (because she requested some other god to be with him forever, and Greek god being Greek gods...). The term is also used in the scientific community (specifically, biology) to describe individuals or species who have both male and female genitalia over the course of their lives, though I'm not sure if that definition applied to Hermaphrodite himself (and it definitely doesn't apply to any known humans). (It's also an outdated and offensive medical term for intersex.)Hermaphrodite in japanese is futanari. It's literally the same thing, just in different languages. Don't confuse people anymore.
Depends on which definition of futa you're using. If it's 'hermaphrodite' (like you're arguing), then no; if it's 'chick with a dick' (like I'm arguing), then yes. Calling her half-sexed is unambiguously correct, but that's a setting-specific term, so it's disingenuous to say that we can't call her a [insert generic term for 'chick with a dick' here].And Etheryn is not a futa, she's a half-sexed.
Also didnt some kitsune(but of course it would) do resolve stuff that made vibe checking Kas's resolve a joke?
IIRC, 'futanari' means 'dual form' and in the English-speaking world seems to be much more common than 'hermaphrodite' in porn communities but doesn't pop up much outside them. And yes, people have used it to refer to non-hermaphrodites e.g. on rule34.xxx, there are currently over 13,000 images tagged 'futa_sans_pussy', which is nearly 5% of the over 273,00 tagged 'futanari' (which includes all variants e.g. without balls, without pussy, full-package), and I wouldn't be surprised if the actual number was higher due to untagged examples.
Dick and no vagina - dickgirl. Both dick and vagina- futanari. As simple as that. So even though the original intent was for futanari to be a synonym/translation for hermaphrodite, an argument can be made (and is currently being made, by me) that it has since evolved into something different. That kind of thing happens with language all the time.

I don't think it contradicts my argument. Having a default state does not imply that other states are invalid, unless it directly contradicts the definition of the term it's applied to; in this case, futanari, whose definition seems to vary between the individuals in this argument. I personally think it's similar to maleherms being a type of hermaphrodite despite not being the default type (which is femherm). The very fact that the tag is specified "sans_pussy" suggests that the default state is with one, yeah? That would seem to go against what you're saying here.
Simply making a statement without arguing for it, or addressing my arguments against it, isn't going to convince me; at least provide some evidence to support it.Dick and no vagina - dickgirl. Both dick and vagina- futanari. As simple as that. Period.
Japanese, inventors* of futanari, don't use it referring to anything that doesnt have a vagina 99% of the time.Simply making a statement without arguing for it, or addressing my arguments against it, isn't going to convince me; at least provide some evidence to support it.
Speaking of which, now that I've done an online search for the definition of futanari, it seems I am indeed in a minority here; Wikipedia, Wiktionary and at least two other dictionary/definition sites all use the term 'hermaphrodite' when describing it. However, I don't think that necessarily invalidates my PoV completely - there are several points that could potentially be used to justify a slightly broader definition:
I wanna say more, but I'm too tired to figure out what to say or how to say it, so I'm gonna just leave it here.
- Wikipedia says it "is also used in a broader sense for androgyny"
- It also says that "it refers almost exclusively to characters who have an overall feminine body, but have both female and male primary genitalia (although testicles are not always present)"; note the 'almost', which implies that it can be used to refer to something else, but that only happens rarely
- It also specifically mentions gender-changing, ambiguous gender and cross-dressing in reference to its origin
- Wiktionary lists "intersexual" and "dickgirl" under its "See also" section, and Wikipedia does the same with "intersex"
Because baka gaijins don't even try to understand what words from other languages mean and just shove strictly defined words into one pile with broad interchangeable terms.

"Dickgirl" would be the "Western" tern for a "futanari".
Vagentleman...? It sounds classy at leastWhat term would you use?
