I've been thinking about alternative methods to getting Domwulfe without Badger but honestly, I've got nothing. Even if Steele were to commandeer her lab in her absence they wouldn't be able to put the finishing touches in. She's kinda required for the whole setup, which is a bit of a shame because plenty of players have turned her in already.

How about ordering her online from some shady online shop? Maybe someone tried to "upgrade" a regular Siegwulfe, but messed too much with her settings and then tries to resell her.

Do you think someone like Shekka in her own lab or Olympia on Zheng Shi could help? Considering Shekka can become a PC companion, it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to ask her for help modifying and in the case of Tech Specialist PCs, Steele can even actively help assembling or writing the program to their tastes (maybe introducing a soft dom/hard dom switch?) And a friendly Olympia could probably be persuaded if the player helped her get some revenge on her owner?

I think that would have those characters acting wildly out of character.
Shekka wants to reduce the heightened libido that the Raskvel, ethical issues aside.
Olympia just wants to design starships and solve engineering problems.

I can't imagine either one modifying Siegwulfe as much as Dr Badger did, or any other matter like that. I mean, Badger pretty much holds a gun to your head when she modifies Siegwulfe and to the point where you might be forced into a Domme/Sub relationship with the drone.

Something key that you guys are missing is that I don't want to rewrite 33,000 words of content to allow for recruitment, so the additional content like a switch is off the table from the get-go. A knock-on effect from that is that Siegwulfe has to end up the way she ends up now but done by someone else. And I don't think there is any other NPC in the game that would modify her exactly like Dr. Badger does -- or even could. Badger just does impossible things sometimes.

Yeah but Shekka is a mechanic and tinkerer at heart, to the point where she messed with machines to pleasure herself (and Steele) if she wants to. She's a mechanic, not a bioengineer and after her quest is done, why should helping you mod a robot for yourself get in the way?

...and I'd argue at least the physical setup for a Dommewulfe falls into Olympia solving an engineering problem.

If Dickwolf runs on bitchbreaker.exe, then perhaps Tam or Tam-wolf could be a source? Since she has access to it in her Bad End, I assume it's making the rounds in various criminal circles. With Tam being a pirate, perhaps it could be downloaded on Zheng Shi as well. Bimbofying the non-bimbo Siegwulfe might be impossible without Badger, but the non-Badger route doesn't have to include the option of bimbofying the normal Siegwulfe.
As for why Steele would end up installing a suspect dommebot program into Bimbowulfe, I'm not sure. It could be done voluntarily by an especially subby technophile, I guess, or maybe part of a loss scene against a Zheng Shi pirate geek? They could put the hardlight on as well.
Are there any additional alterations made by Badger?

Edit for new idea: The pirate techie in KaraQuest 2 has some Fenris bots, so she might be messing around with bitchbreaker.exe as well. Perhaps one could give the player the option to upgrade Bimbowulfe alongside Tam-wolf, with unforeseen consequences as Bimbowulfe is already modified by Badger?

Okay i want to make this clear just because the executable names are the same doesn't mean the program's are the same they could be similar but different programs. I mean who wouldn't name a program used for v.i. to rut bitches with knotted cocks bitchbreaker.exe

Dommewulfe could also come indirectly from badger. Some subby character ordered it from Badger but when Badger goes to jail, he/she is scared to turn Dommewulf on and sells it to steele?

Yeah would be nice to have a way to get dommewulfe when you already put Dr badgar in jail as now I need to make a new character >.<
Also wondering about a comment on a older thread are you still planning to do the tiger/tigress tf? Seemed interesting to me

This is a good idea. Dunno whether I'll run with it or not but it's something I'll consider; alternative routes won't be for a while.

I will give you dolla bill to make it so I can get upgradewulfe without ever having to interact with Badger one way or another.

You can simply have her delivered to the ship if you turn Badger in. Say it's a final farewell "gift". It's a bit lazy but it's a way to circumvent the problem without adding a lot of new stuff.

How about one of those spam mails with a thisisnotavirus.exe? You install it it your normal wulfe and when you return to the ship you find her completely changed, she purchased some "upgrades". I think it'd be hilarious.

Might be best for a silly mode option then, yah? Not even Steele would be that reckless under normal circumstances :p

I don't know that any amount of money could make me completely rewrite the intro of 6 month old writing

Wsan, would you consider throwing Haley a bone sometime? I keep thinking there's room for expansion in letting her grow into openly enjoying catching as much as she loves pitching.

...I might just be saying that because I hunger for more cute tinytaurs and competitions revolving around breeding...maybe...

Your taurs are a treasure, every single one of them~

She has a bad end coming (already written) and her Patreon poll option might win this month. We'll see what happens.

How about Badger selling Domwolf to someone else off-screen, in the time lag between Steele reporting her and her arrest? They could then sell "Modified Bimbowulfe" to Steele from their shop inventory. Or, perhaps it's just standing around deactivated with a warning note in Zheng Shi or somewhere, and then it's up to Steele's own judgment (extraordinarily poor or subby as it has to be for this content) whether to turn it on or not. That way, you could potentially just edit Badger out of the existing content and have Domwolf assume direct control on her own, or include a user manual in the form of a talking Badger hologram, or something.
Gonna stop badgering you about this now though. I've always reported Badger, but it's not that much of a hassle for me to make a new character either. I'm pretty vanilla, so I don't usually have to spend hours transforming new Steeles into this or that exact form.

Maaaaaaaybe Belle on Uveto? I know she has a different creator, so maybe that makes it a non-starter from the get-go. But she's got a lab, she's all about petplay, and she's kind of an amoral "I wonder what will happen if I do THIS?!" nutjob in the same way Badger is. She also doesn't really give a shit about Steele's interests.

She does have a hypnotism/mind control focus, but petplay is such a big thing for her that it still fits in my opinion. There's also a nice synergy there with her giving you a collar and some of Dommewulf's best content being leash-related.

I'll ask what we're all thinking. When is Lund's evil (and decidedly more fashionable) twin brother Schlund going to make an appearance?

Okay... found the Space Bear for the first time today and asked me why he's up there.;)
And more importantly, I was really wondering why he does not ride in a Tesla Roadster with David Bowie - Space Oddity on the radio.....

I'd suggest just giving Siegwulfe a cheat like Mitzi. So typing 'bimbulfe' equips you with the upgraded Siegwulfe and immediately prompts you for a name. People who use it will miss out on the nice introductory reaming, but it means they don't have to savescum just to get her, like I did. (and let me tell you that breaking Badger OUT of jail was a lot harder than locking her up)
