The measurements are in inches/feet (no problem with that, I master *2.5 and *30.4 operations now), but the amount of fluids are in mL/L ,so metric system(indexed on the mass of water in kg).
Why not using oz/gallons ?

Because we just lifted the code from TiTS and that how it works :v

I hate that we are getting CG pictures in which my "PC" is present. And by my "PC" I mean some random milk toast male human. Like, what is the point of me customizing and playing as my character when there is always a chance of me being taken out of experience? I know that a lot of players stick to being human, but god dammit guys, consider rest of your playerbase for once. Do some people really need pictures to get off to the text? I know that I can just remove them from CG folder but I really shouldn't need to do that.
Can you at least give us an option to disable those kind of pictures or something? Not all CG mind you, just ones showing champion.

So, I don't know if it's just me, but is anyone else kinda unimpressed with Cait's transformation into a half-leothran? It feels kinda underwhelming that she makes a big deal about wanting to be a big, tall, stacked, and thick half-leo... And then it looks like the artwork barely changes from the DCL artwork? Not to mention that the transformation feels like it's incredibly overwhelmingly brief for something that's supposed to be kinda significant? It also feels like Liresh and Syrish kinda keep "Butting in" on a scene that's supposed to be about Cait transforming? There's also a couple of things that feel like they were skipped over, like changes to Cait's tail, hands, and legs. I would think that having to manage four much shorter fingers after being used to five longer ones would be notable. Also, don't know if it's a bug or unimplemented, but the appearance writeup for Cait doesn't change.

Dunno if it's just me being pedantic, and I figure it's enough work to just get things written, but I went from maximum hype to negative hype upon going through this scene, and will probably not be transforming her again after I load this save.

This isn't the suggestion thread, but I would've kinda liked to see the option to take the vials and give them to Cait privately so that the scene could be focused on her without twins shenanigans. Or the opportunity to open her up to the idea of transforming to different things via other transformatives, but that feels like it's something that's explicitly reserved for the champion so I won't be asking for something crazy. I also kinda don't know why it's something that's explicitly unable to be reverted, as I can't fathom why Cait would tell a champion that she describes as "her one ray of sunshine" or something along those lines "No" if they tell her honestly that they don't entirely like the change. Or if, after expressing that she wanted to be a tall, stacked, and thick half-leo that she would refuse other transformatives to make her taller, thicker, and more stacked? But that could also just be me being a bit dense so iunno.

Just feels like it's something where more could be done, but I'm happy that the people who like it have what they have.

Your complaint has merit, the logical solution would just to never show the Champion in any of the CGs.
Honestly was not aware that there would be any that actually featured the PC instead of just other characters like we've had so far.

Jesus, that's actually pretty creepy looking. Certainly different from the good ol' Cait I'm used to travelling with.

If there's a specific in-univese explanation we don't have it yet (but since alchemy works differently for the Champ than it does literally everyone else, that's probably the reason) but the Doylist reason is that Cait already has a whole lot of bust variations and the devs don't want to have to commission a zillion more variants to account for her future Khor'minos enthiccening content if you were allowed to combine the two.

It barely features the Champion, it's just an arm and a penis much like the Brienne art, and if you're getting either to show in game you can safely assume your Champ has a dongus so it's not that immersion-breaking.

Yeah, but it is not right dick, color or size. And the race of the hands is not correct. It would be much easier if they did not show it. They are fine peaces of artwork, they just do not belong in the game where character customization are one of selling points.

Yeah, that's fair. And I will admit that one of the flaws of my complaint/suggestion combo is that it basically boils down to "Do more work! Spend more money!" and world knows how exhausting those can be, so I get it.

No. All or nothing.
Reason? Those pictures that show of your champion seem weird. Like, what is a purpose?
At least, does removing them from the folder fix it?
Edit: It still leaves the window that shows them off. Nice...

How about 'Because they're not coded that way and there's no way for the game to read your mind and know what you do or don't want to see because you need to find something to bitch about'?
It seems reasonable from my side. I play this game to avoid being a human male. These types of pictures take me out of experience. They are most of the times unnecessary and add nothing. And the whole point of this thread is to mention your gripes.

While I can understand that some people might agree with that sentiment and not wish to view the representation of their character in certain scenes, bear in mind that all of the CGs in-game are commissioned (leading there to be a definite lack of incentive for changing that, not to mention extra work).

Whilst I do somewhat understand your gripe (with the TiTS image pack being separate from the regular version so you don't need to see the CG if you don't want to) - this is not TiTS.

You've received an answer, and whilst it might not be to your liking - I'm fairly certain no amount of reiteration is going to change the stance.

True. It is just a shame that I can not do anything about it that is satisfactory. It is kind of shame to ruin a scene for someone just because you can not be bothered to allow us to dissable CG only.

honestly man, i don't know why you worry about it so much; simply ignore the appearance of the "pc" and imagine the descriptions and appearances of your pc in place, it is quite easy in a game where most of the time you have to use your imagination.

I mean yeah, but It is postes in middle of the text. The box that you need to close it still takes up space. And I need to make sure that I ignore which I would not need to do if the pictures was not there. I also dislike it on principle. In game where we are free to make our character, it seems strange to add a picture featuring your PC that most likely then not will nor match players champion.

easy, directly delete in the folder all the CGs that you do not want to see. End of the problem.

That box that contains the pictures is still there and distracting. At least it is somewhat better. I wish that there was a way do also disable it.

Judging by your last three posts, I can only imagine that you're fielding whiny, insignificant gripes from Animalistic in an attempt to help him and becoming more and more frustrated as he nit-picks and shits on every single helpful tip you throw his way.

Disabling ALL CGs would be fine. Like I said though, it would be all of them.
Yeah, that. That would be fine. There are only really few quests related CGs that I like. So I would be fine with disabling them rest of the time when I do not want to engage with them. Sure it is more work on my part, but better then nothing. And could it also remove the boxes that contain pictures?

The PC's behavior during the latest Kinu quest is seriously aggravating me. He seems to be justifying wanting to constantly protect Kinu from all the dangers of the world, but I find this desire very hypocritical for someone who's facing danger on a near-daily basis (you're about to deep-dive into the ocean to fight an eldritch monstrosity you fucking daredevil). Hime Kinu points this out a little bit during her closing dialogue with him, but he deserves a bigger callout than this. I hope that our PC has some serious introspective or a talk with another character about it maybe Miko, Mai or hell even Kiyoko, idfk I'll take anyone, even Nakano.

In my opinion, the fact that Hime Kinu felt the need to hide this information from the PC in the first place speaks volumes, and not about her; the closing sentences where she gives him the cold shoulder demonstrates why. Hime needs someone to open up to after bottling up her emotions for so long, but the PC's blatant hypocrisy has made her distrustful of the PC, and rather than focus on this unmet desire, the PC's inner monologue focuses AGAIN on how much her childhood innocence has been robbed, and to me this just smacks of selfishness. Too bad, you don't get to raise an adorable little kit, get over it, she nearly fucking died and you're focusing on "oh no your childhood, blz be safe". To me, this is a parent that's failing at their job, and if tobs insists on scripting the player's response to the Kitsune content in general like this, I hope the PC gets the callout they deserve.

I hate that this questline is making me hate my own character, my own avatar, when I know that this is totally out of character for him. Just shut the fuck up about her innocence or whatever and give her a fucking hug, tell her how strong she is for SUCCESSFULLY putting on a brave face for others while almost never crying the process, and then explain to her that it's okay to cry in front of you of all people, because of all the people she knows, you're the best candidate to be the target of her venting, being both her father and a foreigner. There are wolves, rape flowers and painted demons just outside her home, and you think you can preserve her innocence in this world forever you demon-hunting dumbass? Your cunning is maxed you stupid fucking idiot, I know you know better. Fuck. (edited an extra clause to a sentence to make it coherent)

My personal gripe is that it's never quite clear how to do things that patches add. Case in point, turning Cait into a leothran. Previously: siorcanna shaman is a random encounter, kinda figured she'd be an integral npc that helps you in the rift. Sure, it's fun to discover by myself, but a descriptive patch note on the forums might help sometimes. Had to go to the wiki to discover the blue giant / twin quest in the frost marches is what unlocks the new dialogue with River back when that was added, and that was only a few weeks after the actual release, when people discovered that. Still love the game but wish it wasn't as hard to figure out who does what how when.
