Not enough Quin content, smh.
"Oh, boy. I can't wait to log on to this porn game's forums and complain about people's gripes with the game in the explicit thread about airing your greivances."again, this game is not for balance or catering to multiple people is the author's fetish or what someone is paid to write
"oh boy, cant wait to troll and act entitled towards a conversation i was not apart of yet that has been discussed for several days and just act like an asshat about it to start a flame war" - basically your contribution to the conversation"Oh, boy. Same, tbh. I started out largely indifferent between the two styles but I've come to much prefer direct dialogue (thanks Wsan). This is a very very minor thing but honestly, I like it better when champs dialogue in scenes is put inside quotes. It's small, but it helps my adhd a lot more than one may think and helps my eyes follow the flow of the scene a little better.
Really depends on how you use it. Second person does suffer for feeling more distant from the happenings around you. But it also also makes it so that there is a less chance of overblowing/overemphasizing PCs intentions. This is a very very minor thing but honestly, I like it better when champs dialogue in scenes is put inside quotes. Can confirm Savin bullying me into not using direct text and then just kinda ignoring him later on and doing it anyway.Same, tbh. I started out largely indifferent between the two styles but I've come to much prefer direct dialogue (thanks Wsan).
It also really depends on how you see your own character cuz a lot of the first person perspective scenes aligns with how I view my champ a bit more than the second person content. Basically how Wsan writes the champ is closest to how I see mine. I also just like how emotive Wsan's portrayal of champ is so that helps.Really depends on how you use it. First person, while feeling more personal, makes the champions personality sometimes to defining. Especially early In champions interaction with an NPC.
Which can then take the reader out of the game.
I love how Wsan writes the champ and the inclusion of things like tails emoting and blushing! The champ's portrayal in Rina's Domme scenes are so on point for how I imagine my champ. It also really depends on how you see your own character cuz a lot of the first person perspective scenes aligns with how I view my champ a bit more than the second person content. But this is mostly just an accessibility thing I'm talking about above. I find myself rereading sections of second person perspectives a lot more. First person structure is just a lot easier on my eyes and brain.
I agree. There are scenes where the Champ is in a conversation and is acknowledging what was said, and I expect to see something like:This is a very very minor thing but honestly, I like it better when champs dialogue in scenes is put inside quotes. Instead I see something like:"I see," you said.
Which reads weird to me. Also, by making a lot of dialog into statements, this confuses me as to what the Champ is actually saying and what they're keeping to themself. You see.
God tier text.In my case, I loathe bits that feel out of badly translated/localised doujinshi (such as the "Haa... haa..."- which I always read as The Simpsons' Nelson laugh without fail) or the likes of...

That's a weird one. What scene is it from? Dunno if I've seen that one. Here is the absolute caketaker of second person jankness

I'm not even sure it's a proper sentence.
But then you sacrifice the power of having a different at will ability. You lose power to gain that advantage, so I think that’s balanced.isnt there a stance learned from zo that makes you immune to disarmed?
Imagine a game like God of war making you run around picking up your axe each time your throw it. And on top of that, each time you switch weapons in the inventory don't help. So you saying "Because of game balance" sounds like a poor excuse.I'm guessing 'Because game balance' since those weapons in particular are already quite good and making you immune to Disarmed on top of what they have would be too much.
Maybe they got stuck on something. The specific way in which Champ is Disarmed is left vague; whatever explanation that suffices to account for the PC being unable to retrieve their weapon for a certain number of combat turns (and, for the record, each individual turn is a matter of seconds, so not much time at all) is the correct one.Why is it still possible to get disarmed by enemies while using weapons that have the ability to fly back into your hands like the Dawnsword or Skypiercer
Thank you for giving a detailed explanation.Maybe they got stuck on something. In the Dawnsword's case, as the person who actually wrote the bit where the sword enters Champ's grasp, I would point out that that takes time, effort, and concentration, and the sword is only barely out of arm's reach when it happens. Nothing in that scene implies that Champ would find it trivial to summon the blade to their hand from several meters away.
Perhaps the sword ended up quite some distance away, and the moves Champ does in the interim are ones that they do while running to get close enough to the hilt to retrieve it.
It's called the lava saberi find it funny its easier to get a light saber in CoC2 then it is in TiTs
The first sentence is the reason why the game doesn't require you to use some sort of 'Retrieve' option every time you use something like a throwing knife, because sometimes gameplay trumps 'immersion'. Which is kind of making my point for me because even when a weapon can magically return to your hand (and given Aly's Dawnsword comment, one could argue that Skypiercer's enchantment only works when you throw it) that doesn't necessarily mean it should ignore a gameplay mechanic.Imagine a game like God of war making you run around picking up your axe each time your throw it. And on top of that, each time you switch weapons in the inventory don't help. So you saying "Because of game balance" sounds like a poor excuse.
thats not a light saber, no the light saber weapon is the plasma blade......but i digress we need more food and drink, not enough food and drink optionsIt's called the lava saber
