Someone needs to clean up the coc2 wiki then. That is not true.
except the game is technically already balanced to deal with a party of 5, so it would not be changing muchThat would be a balancing nightmare, plain and simple.
No, the game is balanced to have a party of 3. The summons are generally weaker than your companions, just providing some bonus damage and having a rather low health pool, and it doesn't expect everyone to use a summon, on account of there not being a dedicated summon power slot rather than the summons being Encounter abilities. The summons are more like 0.5 of a party member. Also your proposition would bar the use of summons when you have a temporary party member. Speaking of these temporary companions, they usually accompany you for an encounter or a dungeon, and these are the only locations which are balanced around having a party of 4, rather than 3. That's because they're the only places where you have a party of 4. This game's encounters are balanced around the number of party members you have in a location, not the number of spots on the left side of the screen.except the game is technically already balanced to deal with a party of 5, so it would not be changing much
This game's lore isn't real life mythology. I think the kitsune here do have a beastial version, yeah, but they only turn into that when they starve, at which point they also go mad/feral. At least, if I remember correctly.the full beast kitsune is far more accurate to the actual kitsune lore, i know the game has them a certain way but is it really bad to want to be a full furry kitsune?
More importantly, companion submissions have been closed since November 2021.Once upon a time, garret was considered to be a companion. But he was dropped for kiyoko. Also, only established writers are allowed to make a companion, and they're limited to one. Expecting are lead dev Savin (who went insane making three and almost made a fourth) wsan (who loopholed the limit) and B (who had to take over Berwyn due to Hugs leaving).
To clarify: he was under consideration at the time, but he never actually made it before being dumped. Given the general attitude by the playerbase to non-submissive males, it was for the best. That is not true.
no my gripe is that you cant be a lupine one once going with out save editing.....and this is a grip thread not a suggestion thread anyways so let me gripe pleaseHave you actually read any of the text when they talk about how the kitsune work in this setting and why going bestial is a Bad Thing, or is your gripe entirely based on 'But I want them to look differently than they do!'? Because this is explained in the game and when they start to look less human and more fox-like it means they're starting to lose control of themselves and that is Not Good.
But if you wan the ultimate TLDR on this, kitsune look the way they do (and not like anthro foxes) because that's what the devs wanted and it's not changing.
It changes virtually all of her existing scenes, however.its just a base image swap....
There'd be absolutely no chance of her getting a new set. These are cosmetic changes. She had her appearance changed, but it's not like she got any new parts, so there's no reason why there would be a sex option that's only available with this. And as for a set, it's an irreversible transformation to one of your companions, which changes her in ways that some players may find distasteful, there's no way that they'd have locked an entire combat set behind this transformation. Besides, Cait already has four different sets, so I doubt she'll be getting more.i have another grip now aswell... half leo cait... i was not expecting that i thought hey she would be bigger and fluffier based on how they said it works in game.....and thought hey maybe she gets a new set to work with......or at least some new sex options but nope its just a base image swap....
Aside from Brint/Brienne.....there's no way that they'd have locked an entire combat set behind this transformation
it says permanent and also the save editor isn't supported on purposemy main gripe with leo cait is only way to reverse it is through starting over.... save editor has no option to reverse
i know but there its the only permanant thing that cant be fixed using it, i personally only use it to make my character the race i want, or when something i do is a permanant thing and i dont like it.........it says permanent and also the save editor isn't supported on purpose
Because kitsune in this setting do not look like that. Period. End of story. And the game tells you in no uncertain terms with bolded text that the change will lock you into many things appearance-wise.no my gripe is that you cant be a lupine one once going with out save editing.
And you didn't read the bolded text that warned you that it was permanent? Or make a save file before the change in case you wanted to go back later? That's not a problem with the game...i completely understand why its not supported, its just when i found out about leo cait i was already 307 days (ingame) in and already end game and had one questline left to complete until i would have to wait for more content when the devs are ready to present
you technically cant save before some of the events, some are random explore event and yes i read it was permanant (leo cait as example) unless you save after every exploreBecause kitsune in this setting do not look like that. It's almost like a permanent choice that locks certain racial features is doing its job. Who knew?but nope..... fox berries and ice shards only change your fur color to white (ice shard) or your genitals to fox (both) its like the only transformatives i have found that does not work
yea but..... you can get the features for every other beastman race..... only vulpine is locked out ofIt's almost like a permanent choice that locks certain racial features is doing its job. Who knew?

I assume you don't mean 307 days have passed since you did the transformation. You should just reload a past save. Even if you saved over any manual saves you had before it, there are 20 autosave slots, so I'm certain that, unless you did a lot since the transformation, you still probably have an autosave from before it happened.i completely understand why its not supported, its just when i found out about leo cait i was already 307 days (ingame) in and already end game and had one questline left to complete until i would have to wait for more content when the devs are ready to present
and yes i read the kitsune thing and saved before doing it, however you can infact use the lupine transformative to gain lupine fur and muzzle, or the cat transformative or the horse one..... but nope..... fox berries and ice shards only change your fur color to white (ice shard) or your genitals to fox (both) its like the only transformatives i have found that does not work
What? I just decided to test that by having a character become a kitsune, and then tested out transforming the face using several different transformatives. Cackle Berries, Lycanthorn, Catnip Tea, and Minoblood wine, all of which would give a normal character a muzzle, and none of them had any effect on the kitsune. If you're somehow getting a muzzle on your kitsune character with any transformatives, that's a bug on your end.yea but..... you can get the features for every other beastman race..... only vulpine is locked out of
Let me channel the devs real quick.I have some issues with how Kinu and the freeing Kiyoko arc has been handled in general. I have a few ideas on how I would change that up, mainly being:
1) If you have successfully parleyed with Nareva and have met Mallach, Keros will NOT age Kinu up when freeing them - this effectively has Kinu has a child for the rest of the game coz she aint gonna grow too much in the few months the game takes place in, with her normal child interactions not changing and maybe getting a couple new ones where she meets your companions/learns about the real world
Any number of justifications can be written in for this - maybe Keros is pleased you stood your ground/ won the favor of two of the Seven, maybe its a reward for learning the truth of some events etc
2) If you choose to do the freeing quest earlier and get adult Kinu, there should be a 3rd personality option in between Inari and Kitsune where, i dunno, she's a bit of a tomboy but is not on bad terms with Kiyoko. Again, this shouldn't be easy to get - you should, at the minimum, have run through all unique scenes with Kinu, a sort of reward for being an involved parent.
I understand that the original binary choice was to show a sort of "there aren't always perfect choices" philosophy, but I think a wish-fulfillment-y, happy ending is just fine and dandy for what is ultimately a wish-fulfillment-y porn game
