Considering Will being Shoehorned at a critical time for his personal come back. Something about labeling a writer's passion as feature complete therefore "unnecessary bonus content" at a time when said writer leaves and in his own thread at that reveals a lot about the relationship, not saying who is wrong or right but this i dont know the details of said relationship but i sense animosity with this giving spitting on a grave vibe. Someone had to say it..

They were all pretty much feature complete when we moved on from Zheng Shi's rec deck; everything Will was working on was, strictly speaking, unneccessary bonus content.
Feature Complete? Shock Hopper and LDC are one-off content! and there was a implication you would meet them again (even having a flag if you took LDC buttginity or not) and didn't Will thought of doing 2 whole companions (Roo and another one i forgot the name, with Roo being actually quite finished as well).

Sephora is clearly unfinished as well with the game strongly implying you could discover what's wrong with her and her plotline won't advance (might as well never interact with her to avoid fighting her as well) so she is just gonna be a crazy laquine with no real depth and makes you go through a bad ending.

Unless we are going "you can meet them and fuck them" standard I don't really agree with this assesment, "Abandoned" would be the correct word since their planned content is well not going to happen no?, still what a shame and hope it goes alright for Will.

Yeah, that's all they were ever meant to be, like most bosses. I designed them; I'd know.

Will WANTED to write more for lots of characters, and for most characters there's basically infinite room to add more to them. Doesn't mean its necessary. It's the definition of bonus, when it goes outside the original scope (one-time boss encounter).

SOPHORA definitely had more content planned from the getgo (much like Bianca), unfortunately what Will submitted was not very good, and was rejected. We asked him to help out on the Main Story Quest before going back to any of his OCs, but it'd been more than half a year since he finished what was assigned to him for Train Dungeon, and unless Fen gave him projects I'm unaware of that's the last thing I assigned him on Phaedra.

This is a slight tangent but out of curiosity as I've never thought about it before, how do the teams in both games decides who writes what in terms of main quest stuff? Do you have like a fetish/interest pool for characters people want to write in the quest or is it like you have to fill your MSQ quota lol?

if the fans of those characters wanted more, and Will wanted to write it, i dont see the issue, and i think its wierd to suggest it was just him doing unnecessary things

Are characters/content that he wrote for to be left as they are for the rest of the game's updates? Or is it possible that another writer would ever jump in to finish that sort of thing?

It's mostly just me doing the designing and most of the writing, then asking some other writers to come in and fill in the sex scenes (or sometimes all of the scenes) for specific encounters. When I'm doing dungeon/plot stuff, if I can avoid writing sex scenes myself I'll usually try and pass them onto somebody else so I can focus on the quest design and be finished in a reasonable amount of time.

Fen wrote all the the Mhen'ga main story, and then did the cousin bits and Kaska on Tarkus, then did some assist writing on Myrellion (the Nyrea Princess). Everybody pitched in a lot on Zheng Shi, with Fen doing the Cuz parts and a lot of the pirate base itself. Adj did a lot of the design for Dhaal but I actually wrote almost all of the plot stuff there, with some pickups from various writers in the actual dungeon. I've done all the plot on Phaedra so far, with various writers helping to fill out the train dungeon's sex stuff.

i dont see the issue,
Neither do I?

That's entirely up to Fen and the community writers (ie, you). If somebody from the community wants to pick up any of Will's dangling threads and write them I'm sure the TiTS staff would be amenable. I sincerely doubt Fen's going to pay any commission writers to do it, though.

So, Is there anyone who can convince Will open up Patreon again so that we can sponsor him to continue to complete these contents as a "community writer"? The team is unwilling to support him, but as a fan I am willing to support him to complete these contents.
In any case, I hope to see these popular characters he created in this work implemented, and their content is truly completed by the original author.
Unless it is really irreversible and there is no chance.

The team is unwilling to support him,
I say this as the guy that picked up after an important writer that left CoC2: this is dangerous and reckless rhetoric that is completely false and only serves to stoke flame wars. Both Fen and Savin have already given their inputs. Will is retiring; he's not getting fired. "The team" was perfectly willing to support him, and he simply didn't do the work. Don't say shit like this.

I also say this as the guy that picked up after an important writer that left CoC2: perhaps it's better to let sleeping dogs lie. Anyone that tries to pick up after Will is going to run into the same friction that I did. Whether I did well in CoC2 is both off topic and beside the point - the point is that it doesn't matter if the person that picks up after Will is equal in skill or greater, what matters is that it's not Will.

I respect the writers who are taking over his legacy, but as someone who loved Bianca, Reina, and Roo and was looking forward to more content about them, it will be difficult for me to accept his departure in the short term.
To be honest, this destroyed my long waiting and expectation.
I waited year after year, and never thought that the result would be like this.

Although I have experienced similar things many times, I still feel shocked and sad every time.

What I find difficult to understand is that Bianca's extended content, in the Publicly Available Project Docs he shared, the last modification date was 2020, and at that time he had already completed a large part of the content, more than 80 pages, Why has the project's content not been added to the game?

Roo's crew expansion also had 200+ pages in May of this year, but we haven't seen any of these items added to the game until today.

I don’t know if it’s because he sets too high a standard for himself, so his projects has not been updated and completed, but I still hope to see these long-awaited projects in the game before 2030 or even 2040.

Honestly I was hoping for Leila more than Bianca, although I was hoping for her sister as well, but she’s locked behind Bianca

I haven't read the content in question, but just from my own experience as a writer, 200 pages sets off enormous red flags and suggests a project that grew wildly beyond the scope of something that could actually be completed. That's more than every item, sex scene, character, and optional dungeon that I ever wrote for the game put together.

EDIT: To clarify: the typical large project that I produced - a dungeon with three enemy encounters, a transformation expansion for a crew member with six new sex scenes - was about 20-25 pages. I am by no means a particularly great writer for TiTS, and it's reasonable for someone better than me to produce double or triple that output for a project of similar concept. But not ten times. The whole Crash Landing is 200 pages, and that's a full location that contains four new characters each with a full package of sex scenes.
