Not sure if it's already been said given the near 500+ pages in this thread, but we need more bedmates!!! It feels down right illegal that I can't ask Cait to snuggle up, Atugia can sleep with you but you have to go out of your way to get her in bed, and we just got a huge Agnimitra content update, yet I can't even ask her to keep me warm in these cold northern nights. Also letting us take party members other than Ryn to bed at the wayfort would be nice. This could be fleshed out further by updating any bedmate scenes with flavor text to reflect the current relationship status bewtween you and said bedmate (quest wise, general progress, married or not)

Omg can't believe I didn't think of this until now!! True Dual Weapons!!! A perk that would allow a PC to wield a two-handed weapon in either hand or two non-light weapon weapons and have them be treated the same a PC wielding two light one-handed weapons & simultaneously. Let's just call it Giant's Strength after brint's ability that kinda works the same Ex: A PC Wielding the Captain's Greatsword(2H) and Galon's Griefmaker(2H) or the Ashelander(1H/nL) and The Dawnsword(1H/L) being able to use the Dual Blitz and Steady Strike in the same combat encounter. Essentially just making it so that perk allows the offland slot to treated as a primary slot and lets us use two non-light weapons at once, one or two-handed. It'd make sense to make it a lvl 9 Warrior exclusive perk lore wise, but yeah we need this fr.

2handed weapons are balanced with the assumption they will occupy both hand slots (even if I feel like they lack a bit of oomph compaired to dual-wielding)
Also, it may or may not be a pain to code.

Your guess is as good as mine, but the most likely answer is just balancing reasons.
..........that's a fair assumption to make, but I can't see that as a strong enough argument that could be made for this case. In my vanilla experience playing through CoCII, outside of save editing you can't ever really be "overpowered". I can see how strong the perk could potentially make some late game warrior builds by letting them use stats from 2 two-handed/non-light weapons, but even then the enemies we'll be facing by the time we can even use this 9th lvl perk will more than be able to handle said stat combination. Many of the better 2H unique weapons have a negative stat to counter how effective they perform, the stat tank from two weapons could in itself prevent any build from being too strong, it'd either require a attribute or equipment change to compensate preventing any one stat from ever being too too high.
2handed weapons are balanced with the assumption they will occupy both hand slots.
Also, it may or may not be a pain to code.
If need be, I will gladly code it myself I'd be more than happy to. But I'm not just talking about two-handed weapons here. Like @Shrike675 mentioned, warriors being able to monkey grip would let them use any weapon in either weapon hand slot, so you do two shields, two quarterstaffs, two non-light one-handers.

Honestly the perk is more for character headcannons and less how effective am I in combat. What with lvl 7 granting 2 mutually exclusive options for perks - for warriors, Tough Skin & Cleaving Strikes offering PCs a defensive or offensive path of play - I figure lvl 9 will more of the same, just another offensive or defensive perk to futher specialize your pc's type of fighting style. So if Giant's strength is the offensive side, the defensive side of that could be a perk that grants warriors passive health regen once drops below 50% and +15 armor, +15 power & +15 evasion so long as the health is below 50%, call it Battle Junkie.

I'll say this: If you can dual-wield two 2-handed weapons, then why would you ever use one 2-handed weapon, or 2 one-handers? And if the reason is the negative stats, I'd like to point out that the two-handers also have a lot more positive stats. Excluding the stuff like the pike and straight pike, you'll typically be getting a lot out of the two-handed weapons that could definitely outweigh the negative stats that some have. Even ignoring the fact that you'll definitely have higher damage on the weapons, the stat bonuses are generally too high for it to be reasonable to say that the one-handers would be better for the bonus stats.

And even if it wasn't for two-handers, if it only let you use non-light one-handed weapons as light weapons, things would be... mostly not actually that bad, actually. While I'd say on average non-light one-handed weapons are slightly stronger, the only ones where one feels like a straight upgrade over the other are curved blade>short sword, flametongue>sanctified gladius, mace>club, and Ashelander>sharp sickle. I'd still be cautious about it, but I don't think letting one-handed weapons be used as if they were light weapons would invalidate the light weapons.

I'd like to see plantfolk "seed" with the oviposition perk much like harpies "egg." I'd of course want my plantfolk to be able to get the oviposition perk without first becoming a harpy. I'd also like to see mothfolk with oviposition have mothfolk eggs/babies instead of harpy eggs/babies (maybe this is different now, I haven't tried in a long time).

A way to get the quest Wayfort Renovations (and, later, Wayfort Upgrades) if you didn't:
  • Keep Farrah or Jael'yn at the wayfort
  • Accept the barony from the elves

IDK about the first part, but… the elves would likely have severe “issues” with you trying to pull the second one.

You know…I think I would like to bring my kids for a visit in the wayfort. On my main char, bring Kinu to see that her father actually has a job or something.
"This really isn't necessary, Father," Kinu says. "I am well aware of the Wayfort. I sometimes meet passing traders and some of your guardsman to barter for feeding. In disguise, of course."
"No," you tell her. "I just want you to see that there's more to your barbaric old father than a deadbeat dad who just knocks your mother up and disappears for long stretches at a time. I am hard at work keeping the world safe."

All at once:
Kari: Welcome back, my mate! Our pack is growing once more. Soon the hills will sound with the howls of our hellhounds once more!"
Daliza and Narcia: (running by, harpies and Mitra clinging to them) "Baron, we are not pack animals or transport wagons for your brood!"
Vatia: (opening a sleepy eye by the fire with three little snake kids) "Mmm.... warm. Come cuddle."
Meira: "We had another one. Just your Court Wizard hard at work. It felt sooo good. I can see why mother loves this so much."
Aileh: (Flying down with Freja and Kasyrra in disguise): "Look, grandma is visiting!"
Zhara: "Another egg for your growing flock, bossman."
Elthara: (Visiting with two pregnant acolytes) "Lumia be praised! I can once more wear my sacred pregnancy robes, Champion of Frost."
Amidst the din is Antonina, holding her pregnant belly, the Alraune holding up a fertilized effigy seed, and goth Drifa with a superfetation belly.

"Yes..." Kinu replies. "So much different than when I visit the Kurokawa den... and home.

I'd just like some generic scenes we can repeat when feeling like it now and then with the whole den, both during their time in the Orb and after. The fact your other children are just an after thought is kind of annoying. I understand it with most of the other characters you can have children with because... they are babies, can't do much with those kids. But with Kiyoko's they are already grown up to an extent.

To be honest, while Kinu has some daddy issues with us, from what little we barely see of the others... really not sure they actually like us... like at all.

... Mind, can't really blame them. We've barely even "acknowledged their existence" a day of their lives.

See, I on the other hand (which means this only applies to me), have never gotten that impression. Nothing she said ever led me to think she didn't like Champ or even love Champ. I just never got that. If she did say something mean or bad, I can't really give it much weight to all the other interactions, I'd have to assume it was a one-off writing discrepancy. I have Hime Kinu on my main and the other on my dark knight, but while one dislikes her mother a bit more, I never correlated any of that to Champ.

This is what I think too. I've never seen anything in her interactions that implies she's got an issue with us - if anything I think it's the opposite, she often seems to seek the attention of the Champ when you interact with her exclusively. I too have Hime Kinu on my current playthrough.

[snip]. I have Hime Kinu on my main and the other on my dark knight, but while one dislikes her mother a bit more, I never correlated any of that to Champ.
I also have Hime, in my eyes it’s just a matter of trying not to alienate us and she is choosing her words.
Kinu may not say it, but our perceptive champ notices she still wants oraise and attention from us, if you have scholar background for example, Kinu will be happy if you help and give your opinions and critiques to her art. She loves playing shogun and is happy when you win (specially if you have enough wisdom and orders her not to make it easy, which she smiles even more).
And the one moment that guarantees that she does not dislike her father at all: when you let Hime Kinu Head pat Kitsune champ for the first time. You can tell she has been dreaming of doing that ever since she was a child.

Yes, she does. It’s just that is not the same thing as having no lingering feelings over our long absence. Kiyoko even brings it up in towards the end of the Winter Wolf quest.

That being said, the ones I was talking about seeming to not like us all that much, were all our and Kiyoko's other kids… not that we even “interact” with them all that much. Which itself likely plays a rather big role in said feelings.

But I mean, lets show poor Tobs some mercy. If they wrote interactions for all the kids, they'd be writing that content until they drop. Kiyoko wants that big family after all. XD
