Giving her a one-handed pat to the rear, he put on his playful smirk and followed along behind the troll. They were on their way to get Bella... which likely meant that Gola wouldn't be along too far behind them once she backtracked and found their steps in the sand. If the troll could lead them, then Gola could definitely follow.
