Shark Bites: A Shark TF Item (Implemented)

Here we go! Here is an item that will change Steele into a shark-morph, simple as that. I know that someone else was writing a shark TF, but this person seems to have fallen off the face of the earth and their project sits idle (as far as I know). So I decided to make my own shark TF (blame the shark-morph file dumps on the discord chat). I hope that this is alright. All it really needs is a grammatical look over before I submit it. Tell me what you think!

UPDATE 10/13: Continued to fix up some repetitive and odd sentence structure and fix some code related things. Still editing.


UPDATE 10/18: The TF almost complete if not completely done. With the help of Lashcharge written in the parser code to the best of ability.

CoC introduced me to the wonderful world of shark tits, and it's a shame that the author of the other TF vanished. Looking forward to this, and I'll give it a more thorough look later.

Like the other one, you went with the elf-eared, dog-pawed sharks rather than the traditional anthro sharks.


Things I don't like about this item.

• Goes for elf ears rather than earholes.
  
• No head fin.
  
• Goes for dogpaws instead of mermen naga.
  
• Goes for anemone genitals rather than shark genital.
  

Like about it:

• The arms are cool.
  
• So is the Dorsal fin.
  

My opinions aside good work.

To be fair, They aren't really dog paws, more closer to lizards with my iteration. Also less elf ears and more vestigial fin ears.That said, I can see why these types of anthro sharks are...less desirable to some. I only went with what google search found for me. Personally, head fins are a fucking weird thing for me, as are furries in general. So the design choice were totally pandering to less common denominator.


@Ethereal Dragon: You'd be correct. I believe they were called Chum Chews. I made this because as far as I'm aware, the creator and the TF fell off the face of the earth. I was gonna make Sahuagin-esque TF with shark traits instead if the other guy came back, but until then, this is what I'm doing.

Well, items finished. Still needs some fine tuning and grammatically things, but overall, I say it looks good. I also have a question in regards to sorta fixing some of the furry stereotypes (that I really don't know anything about). I tried to make the ears seem more like mini triangle sails rather than elf ears and the feet less dog like overall. Anything else I should know?

Though, as mentioned before me, the anemone dick isn't something shark-morphs are usually depicted to have. Not to mention that sharks have two dicks...

Well technically sharks have claspers and not penises. But yeah they are usually depicted has having two of them.


Maybe this item could be split into two. One for the sahuagin like race and another with a more realistic depiction of sharks.

@shadefalcon: I finally scraped my original plan and just went with extra toned legs with a fin growing at the ankles and webbed toes. Still keeps a mostly human shape.


@Lashcharge: Yeah, no. The main reason I didn't go for merman naga lower body is the simple fact that fish don't really work on land, nor (outside of eels) move in a really serpentine way. Imagining Steele flopping about uselessly, pornographic pseudoscience aside, is fucking hilarious and jarring at the same time. If I do a sahuagin like TF later, it will be clearly distinct from this one. I did get that head fin for you, scraped the dog paw shark legs and hopefully correct shark penis, so that's something, I hope? (Not trying to rude or sarcastic. I just really don't wanna do that.)


Regardless, I made some more amendments to the TF. Hopefully I cleared up the issue of shark penises and legs, but if not, let me know.

But I would like to say that I love the addition of the ankle fins

That is true, but those were done to add some distinction from the previous Shark based TF. The whole leg thing was pretty confusing to me, so I just went with the road of least resistance. I felt that I couldn't properly describe what was going on with the whole leg thing, so I changed to be as simple and clear as possible. I create another way for people to get anemone penises at some point.

Cool I'm pretty okay with these all around! I do have a few more suggestions/questions through:

• Head fin is missing the appearance blurb.
  
• Adding this part from the shark cock to the end of  shark vagina. " A small, fin-like flap sits at its base, serving as an extra attachment and additive flare."
  
• I don't think sharks have tongues so I think you can skip that.
  
• I'm not sure but maybe males should also gain the Genital Slit status effect.
  
• Considering genital flags. There are items that can give special flags to dicks and vaginas (which I wrote) so you can add variables to their descriptors if you want. If you don't they get added as an addendum at the bottom. I don't think there are any space conflicts with these descriptions like there was with anemone/demonic dick had with sheaths and foreskins. Maybe the nubs and cilia in vaginas?

Sharks have tongues. Just small and/or attached to rest of bottom of mouth. Should the TF have special one? No, because if it was legit shark tongue it would fuck with all tongue scenes.

@XxTheFaLLeNxX: No, unfortunately. Still, the TF is under construction, so things are subject to change. Also, save scumming does exist should the TF get in, and you could luck and get all the other TF and not the head fin.

Head fin got cut, but I am satisfied. Also I finally made sure to get it properly accredited. Now to work on that tentacle space dragon project.
