Yes, but it'll take at least two more years to finish the game. And I'll most likely keep adding content for a while even after it's done.Have to ask, is this game ever going to be finished?
This is one of those games where I think I should play it, but then I see a new version keeps coming out again, and again, and again, and I don't want to keep downloading new versions all the time so I just put it off again, and again, and again. I think "well I COULD download this version, or I could wait a week or two and download the next one instead... or the one after that... or the one after that etc".
It's because I got burned by Overwhored and Harem Collector, where new versions didn't just add new content on top of old ones, but also reworked earlier content and even entire game systems, forcing me to start over from the beginning again. Not to mention Harem, which dumped the entire game and started building a new version of it from scratch (I haven't touched the new version yet because of this).
So is there a projected completion date where it's going to finally be safe to start playing, content in the knowledge that I'm getting the best possible experience?
All my updates so far have been save file compatible, which means you don't have to re-play the game evey few updates. I'm also uploading "update file only" .zips, which only contain the files that were changed since the last update. This way people don't need to re-download the full game at every update, but instead they can update by adding a few files to the game folder.
The story is currently at a stop, since the next step will be a time jump (as in, a lot of time will pass without the player being activly in it), which should be a good moment to give it a try in my opinion. Some players play the full game and then wait a few updates before continuing, rather than playing every update for just a scene or two. Maybe that would be an option for you as well?
