"Hmm... That's likely in detail in textbooks. As far as I know, we were on the same planet since... Forever." He says, shrugging and walking through a door. She sees a semicircle of carved figures on pillars, with plaques describing them below. "These are our gods. We have seven of them. Read the plaques and ask me any questions you have." He says, nodding to the one on the far right.

[ain't world builing fun~?! I know love doing that.]

Jess while not being big on culture is always willing to learn something new. She takes a look at the first one, looking at the figure and then looking at the plaque.

[Of course. I love it!]

The first idol is rather curiously shaped. But then again, they all were, to her eyes. The base is half a sphere, with a single line drawn through the centre. Through that groove, a single rod sprouts, with two arms sticking out at the top, like a T. The sides of the T have spheres of unequal sizes, yet the bowl is not leaning in either direction.

The plaque reads "Karlom, the god of balance. His totem is constructed in such a manner, that a balance is maintained between the two unequal sides through the perfectly spherical base. Tipping the balance by even the slightest weight will upset it for a while. Yet, it will manage to adjust. Place an object on any side of the model and observe." The plaque reads.

Jess tilted her head. My this was intriguing, she wanted to try it out. "Hey Zajak this ones kinda cool... it says it will manage to adjust its balance even if you put something there. Can we try it?", she asked looking over her shoulder.

"Hmm... Sure. Try putting this on." He says, tossing her a small metal spiky... Thing. Looked vaguely like a jack from the old Jacks game that children on Earth used to play in the early centuries.

Jess looks the strange little jack-like thing over, shrugs and then puts it on the left side to see it in action. "Ok lets see.", she said as she bent down a little to observe, her latex covered booty pushed out a little.

First, the thing leans dangerously to one side, almost tipping over. Then, she hears a series of taps, and the totem eventually comes back to its normal resting position.

[Gonna sleep.]

"Woah neat! I have to wonder how it does that... maybe a sort of self equalizing clockwork mechanism? hmmm", she said as she took look at the thing again.

"Sort of. There's a bunch of balls in there. Kept in by some sort of equilibrium. When something is put on one side and it tips, the balls readjust themselves to get back to an equilibrium and balance." He says.

"Ah, that makes sense. simple and elegant.", Jess said nodding in approval. She then moved to the next one curiously.

The next she sees is two rings, one set inside the other on an axis. Right in the center, there's a flat disc.

The plaque below reads "Ahren, the god of speed. His totem looks useless at first, until spun with enough speed. Then, the image formed is of a planet with its core. Try it!" The plaque reads.

"Oh, good of speed huh? Bet people in a hurry pray to him right?", she said smirking at Zajak. And try it she does giving a it a good spin!

"Yeah, pretty much." He murmurs.

The thing spins, and then she notices a curious effect. It goes so fast that it actually seems to slow down slightly, forming a flickering planet and core in the center, before unraveling back to a sphere.

She's grinning. "Huh, an optical illusion. with enough speed a picture appears. Makes sense for a good of speed." she moves to the next one looking genuinely interested. So this is what it looks like when Jess is happy and relaxed... a rare sight to behold.

The next one, surprisingly, is a sphere made of tiny magnetic balls, sitting on a pillar of pure iron.

The plaque below reads "Talos, the god of strength. Strength is not only physical power, but also the ability to take a hard blow and still stand. Or, if knocked down, get back up. Split the magnets as hard as you can, and then watch the magic!

"Oh snazzy looking.", Jess said as she bent down to look, putting that nice ass up. "I'm gonna try it! here goes...", she said as she split the magnets apart.

The magnets all split and fly off. Oddly, they swing downwards in an arc, sticking to the pillar instead. Then, they slowly start moving back up the pillar, attracted to the large spherical magnet on the pillar.

"Best not bring any electronics in here this thing has some strong magnetism.", Jess observed.

"Mmhm..." She hears him murmur. "Like it says... The ability to pull oneself back together is also counted as strength." He says.

The next totem is what looks suspiciously like two figures entwined around a penis.
The plaque below simply reads "Goddess of fertility. The totem depicts two figures, a male and a female, enjoined around a phallic structure."

Jess blushed a little. "I uh...uh, lets move on.", she said quickly looking off to the side. "This is a bit much.... d-don't you think?"

"No, a bit much would be cum flying out if you stroke it." He murmurs dryly. "Almost every culture has had fertility gods or goddesses in the past. Is it so strange to find one in ours?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah that is true..... I guess its just that..... well i guess you could say we humans are a bit more uh... hush hush about that kinda thing... n-not that there's anything wrong with having a fertility goddess mind you.", Jess said as she scooted over to the next one.

"Pfft. Humans are stupid, then." He grumbles from behind.

The next thing she sees is a totem of a rather scary figure. It looks like a mix of Saurian and Hissa, with the upper body of a Saurian, and the lower tail of a Hissa. It's wearing a black robe stained with blood, and is carrying a large scythe. Around it, there are dead plants and skeletons.

The plaque below simply reads "Baelrog. The god of death."

"Ah. The god of death. As you know, all things must come to an end. We pray to him before a battle, to grant us victory over our enemies, and if we die, may we be taken to the afterlife. Might wanna take a look at the pillar." Zajak says from behind her, pointing down at the pillar.

The pillar below Baelrog's totem is just as intricately carved, showing details of what appears to be three kinds of afterlives. A harsh, painful one for those who merely indulged themselves all their lives at the cost of their fellow members; a good one for those who lived in peace, trying to help others out, and the best for the warriors, who fought and died on the battlefield.

She brushed off the comment about her people simply rolling her eyes. One look at the pillar and the statue told the whole story.... definitely a warrior culture with a death god like and after life like that. "Ok, looks about right for your people. I'm going to take a guess that in afterlife for warriors you get to fight everyday and feast every knight like some kind of Valhalla?", she asked giving him an over the shoulder glance.

"Mmhm. Fuck as much as we want, too." He says, chuckling and spanking her butt. "Apparently we get our favourite slaves too. I'm definitely meeting you and Saria down there. That's for sure." He murmurs, smiling.

Jess give her little yelp that she always did when he slap her butt, giving him a slightly annoyed look. She wasn't sure if she wanted to spend eternity in some afterlife getting fucked..... Besides there was no way she would let herself die as a slave she was going to get her freedom, one way or another... surely Zajak didn't want it to actually be this way. Then finally the gears of her mind finally clicked into place.... technically he was air to the throne, the king was the one putting all these laws about slaves and stuff. If she could get him on the throne thing might be different.... she'd need to to think about this, and look for the right time to start forming a plan with him, she hoped he thought the same as her.

"We'll.... see about that...", she said distantly as she packed away her mental luggage. "Any others?", she said looking around.

[As in, you wouldn't physically die and go with him to the afterlife. More like he gets a ghost version of you. You'll still be alive.]

The next one is a female Saurian, who looks quite pregnant. She's smiling happily, and Jess can see tiny children playing at her feet, as well as bushes and flowers growing.

The plaque below reads "Firna. The goddess of life. Firna, while being the goddess of life, is also closely linked with the goddess of fertility. It is important to note that they are not the same. Firna is the goddess that is prayed to at the times of birth, planting a seed in the ground, and when witnessing a birth."

[ah ok but you get the sentiment either way]

Jess had her hand under her chin as she looked the motherly goddess over. "Huh, rather interesting... So like when a kid are born you'd be all like We bless this child in that name of Frina and all that right? Fair enough. Oh.... on a side note.... do you saurains..... give live birth or like from eggs?"

"From eggs, of course. Reptilian bodies don't exactly support births. We have sex, and then the egg comes out. Then we wait for it to hatch in an incubator. Remember the boiled egg joke I cracked earlier?" He says, chuckling. "And yes, we basically bless the child like that." He says, nodding.
