Newbie here- How to find/fix the plasma conduit?

Sorry if this should be under a questions thread or something, i don't use forums very often. Basically i've pretty much literally just started playing, and I'm on the ship and it says that 'With a blown plasma conduit, you won’t be flying anywhere! You need to scavenge one from the station to progress!'

I've looked all over the ship, in my inventory, in storage, and through the codex, but i can't figure anything out, and can't go outside because it's just space. Am I missing something obvious here?

what do you meant you can't go outside because its just space? the tutorial starts with you landing on a station, known as FIRST 14. you leave the ship and go about the dungeon and you acquire the conduit by beating the final boss after solving some puzzles.

... Thank you so much omg I'm stupid. After leaving the ship the only button there is enter ship, and the text says not to dawdle so i managed to convince myself that there's no options but going back inside and completely forgot that you move by clicking on the minimap. Sorry again and tysm I am not very good at games lmao...
