Personally, I'd argue it's a bit of a give and take between both ideas, depending on the characters and the degree/method of domming. Especially considering Steele by default is often in the dom position (as far as most pure female and combat victory scenes are concerned, I can see people being drawn to content where the PC is a sub/bottom for a change of pace. It's the case for me, at least, though I'm very picky about the dominant characters.

I'm not too fond of people who equate dominance with being disrespectful jerks in bed :>

Sounds ok, that way you get to keep the main attraction to your patrons while allowing everyone else to review and edit your non-sexual content. People rarely poke holes in sex scenes, but they will point out inconsistencies and plot holes on dialog scenes.
