It's a shame because I like auto mode because it gives a stronger impression of your companions existance, it's more immersive.

Eh, full companion control has always been a hallmark of party based RPGs. For example, Dragon Age Origins, the greatest RPG ever made.
If anything CoC2 could do with modular party gear control as well
I prefer newer RPG's that give some autonomy to your party members personally like DA inquisition, ff15(the road trip bits at least), but I do like outfitting my party. That'd be fun.

I'm conflicted. On one hand I'm hoping the next Backer patch is BriHaus because I think we've waited long enough but OTOH am on holidays away from my main computer so it's out of my reach. Ah well.
I 100% think we aren't going to get brihaus until Mayternity. Seems the perfect time to knock up a trio of cowgirls.

We know it's not, because Wsan said just a few days ago that there's still some content as part of the expansion that hasn't been written yet, though he's said it's 'very close'. Once it's written it still needs some review and coding so it's still going to be a while before it's actually implementation-ready. We're much closer to getting a different project he's been working on but not really described in detail involving Evelyn; he said it was probably two patches away shortly before the last one dropped so the next backer update (or maybe the one after) will likely have it.
The reason companions don't use Ultimates (outside of Devotion) when computer-controlled is that there's no good way for the computer to know the best time to use those once-per-sleep-cycle abilities, and you really don't want to blow those on some trash mobs in a dungeon when there's no way to recharge it before a boss.
IIRC the reason Auto is the default is basically because companion control was added later. You can change it from the settings menu at any time, but like zag already said when you're dealing with repetitive mobs it's generally much faster to let the computer do its thing.
Companion gear sets are their equipment control, it's just opaque what stats their equipment has without digging into console commands but they do change to an extent.

I've been looking at the libido stat since presence builds have been a recent obsession of mine but I feel like the cons outweigh the pros at every level.
From 0 to 35 we see no benefits, only drops of mental resistance with a -10 mental resist at 35.
We finally see a return at 36 with total changes being +5 sexiness, -6 focus, and -10 mental resist.
From 36 to 68 we see increases to sexiness and drops to focus with no change to mental resist.
At 68 we have +10 sexiness, -11 focus, and -10 mental resist.
From 69 to 100 we see increases to sexiness and drops to both focus and mental resist.
At 100 we have +15 sexiness, -15 focus, and -20 mental resist.
As shown, libido takes more than it gives and what it takes is imo more valuable than what we get. Sexiness won't see much use outside of dedicated tease builds while lower focus and mental resistance makes us much squishier to all forms of mental damage. I think a more reasonable exchange would be higher libido giving sexiness in exchange for lowering your tease resist, so you'd be a better teaser but specifically weaker against teasers instead of being weaker against all mental damage.

That's the word, but I'm not sure if it got cut or not, or was a joke even. What I mainly heard was that there was an option to purify her, or that which is presumably going the other way. But given her dick is demon-given and theoretically a part of that corruption, I'd almost assume that would mean a dedicking which... doesn't seem ideal for that particular character. Would be like Cait ending up with A-cups all of a sudden, half the character gone, lol.

I'm the opposite. I'm here for specific content that I can get off to,(namely thicc girls getting knocked up) and the decent gameplay and romance stories. There is loads of content I haven't seen and never will and I'm OK with that.
Jael is not a submissive bimbo. She's literally neither of those things. She's not submissive even as a slave (as I've previously discussed at length), nor is she even close to positive or cheerful enough to be a bimbo by this game's definition.
The maids at the wayfort only have a few scenes the player can engage in and they're not particularly bimbo-ish either. A touch, sure, but mostly just garden-variety horny. Play on words intended.
As for the "several others" I'd say there are precious few actual bimbo characters in the game. There's a few submissive characters, sure, but bimbos are incredibly rare. I bet the fact that you just said that probably shows you can't name more submissive/bimbo characters, which is not a dig at you, but rather a point that there really aren't that many in general.
In fact I'll make that the gripe of this post. Not enough bimbos.
