Shock and holy damage feel a little off. Crackle powder is a ranged only skill so using as a mage is a little weird since the only ranged catalyst is the metal wand (I could be wrong here) and arc cannon isn't available until the kitsune tree, and I find aoe spells don't have as much firepower as I need them to now that I've hit undermountain. Cooldown 4 on the big holy damage spells is also a bit rough for undermountain. I'm running primal scar + celestial smite right now, with grand finale to pick off stragglers, don't really use ultimates unless it's a major quest battle since they're once a day. I try to keep manual control to champ only but I might need to switch everyone to manual and run etheryn arona blessing rotations if content gets rougher than this, I pay the hobgoblin toll simply because fighting what, 8 of them? when they're all that tanky and hit that hard is a nightmare, not unwinnable but pretty damn rough.

Edit: I realized after rethinking it that the issue with ultimates is also that there's no CC ultimate, everything is single target. The main issue with the undermountain is multiple bulky things that do very high single target damage, so a damage or status ailment aoe ult would really help. maybe I should try bringing kiyoko along

Boomer is BubbleLord's character, there are plans for him to get more content via the Temple but it hasn't happened yet.

Ryn's Aurora Arrow inflicts AoE Holy damage (and Burning) and also gives your entire party some buffs while it's at it. Agnimitra, Arona and Brint/Brienne also have multitarget Ultimates of varying flavors. You need to be in Manual control to use all companion Ultimates other than Cait's.

Oh I didn't realize companion ults didn't trigger unless manually activated, might try playing manual then. I had assumed the ult would just trigger as a random action but if they aren't happening then I could make fights a lot easier by doing them manually, thanks!

Technically it isn't, as there's also the Mushroom Staff, Divine Blossom, Eternal Delusion, and Seasonal Rhapsody. However, the Mushroom Staff and Metal Wand are the only ranged catalysts with bonuses to spellpower and spellpenetration, though the combination of the Metal Wand with an offhand catalyst (specifically either blank scroll or fox jewel) does give a spellpower and spellpenetration on par with the Spiraled staff, albeit without the crit bonus (and accuracy bonus if you're running Fox Jewel). And for some reason, the metal wand scales off of strength since strength boosts attack power, rather than off spellpower/willpower boosting the metal wand's damage like I'd expect. And overall yeah, storm is limited compared to grease+fireball, particularly given how many companions have or can access powers that do fire damage, whereas none do storm damage in any capacity, so the payoff for grease can be far higher, even though crackle powder technically has a better debuff otherwise due to it stunning, which lowers evasion and resistances along with making the target unable to act, rather than knocking prone, which just makes them unable to act for one turn.

I suspect the reason they require manual activation is because allowing them to trigger randomly would be incredibly wasteful. Companion Ults work just like the Champ's, so if you let the computer blow them on a trash mob you wouldn't have access to them when you really want them. Say, in any dungeon when you probably want to save them for boss-type encounters and can't sleep to recharge them.

Clementine, you mean? strawberry_tea stopped writing for personal reasons so she's unlikely to get any future expansions, unless somebody steps up to write more content for her. It's possible but right now it doesn't seem likely.

Isn't there an inn in Khor'minos where you can buy rooms? It's like 900 for a month. It has all the drinks with boon like frost hound. Except it doesn't have drink with boon for presence which is kind of weird. Maybe there will be a place you can stay overnight for Glacial Rift whenever we can solve things with

Winter City was never meant to be a major settlement location, which is why it lacks shops. I could see the writers adding a permanent room for the Champ if you marry Ryn (since as her consort you'd have every reason to spend time living at the palace, especially if you also have children) but otherwise you've got the Wayfort, which can be thought of as your home as Champion of Frost (if you got it via accept Ryn's offer) without needing rooms in the palace set aside for you.

A place to sleep at the entrance to the Rift is kind of redundant since it's about five map squares and a few waygate hops away from every location with a functional bed, but you can set up a camp inside the tower in the northwest and it won't degrade. And as just mentioned KH has an inn (and I wouldn't be surprised if B-haus eventually lets you sleep there for free) where you can sleep for a small investment of electrum that's probably pocket change for you by the time you get there. It offers drinks and Bimbo Champs can put on a show.

Give us a TRAINING MONTAGE for Kinu....okay, I exaggerate a little...but, we could have the option to train Kinu and teach her one or two skills/abilities for her questline, or give her advice. So for example, she could be given Rend, Fan of Blades, or dischord, skills like that.

Alternatively, we could teach her to prepare for a fight or something, and depending on the advice we give, she could start the fight with like...2x Leanstones, 2 extra vulneraries, or defence/offense buffing items.

Final idea for something along these lines would have it the other way round: let Kinu fight the champion in a sparring battle, but you control Kinu instead. We've established that the champ can more or less master the basics of a weapon/fighting style in an incredibly short period of time, with enough information from Kinu, they could serve as a crude imitation of Raphael, or at least mimic his swordplay, to let Kinu train against his fighting style. There's a large difference between practicing moves and being able to execute them against an opponent that wants you dead, after all.

This last method wouldn't give her any inherent upsides or downsidess in her questline, but it would be a really cool thing to do for her.

On the more reasonable side, I'd like specific numbers for characters sexual preferences on a screen, ie instead of "likes big butt/peen dislikes small butt/peen" it would be "likes 3-6 inch(thing)/dislikes 9-12 inch(thing)". many scenes seem to accomodate differences already but itd be nice at least for major characters with repeatable events to have those numbers readily available, to conform to them or not. since you have freedom to change at will it'd be neat to have the option to alter your character to fit as many preferences as possible without experimenting for a very long time, or seeing the various dialogue changes.

Less reasonably It'd be cool if every companion (eventually) had at minimum 1 dps and 1 tank spec, maybe a healer spec, so no matter what class you play and who you like more, or want to take more you can. as it stands its hard to take a party member who'd fit a place story wise but makes you have to not take a dps or a tank, or a healer as the case may be. quite a few characters have variants now but seems to be weighted towards many party members being able to tank just fine, but a few too hybrid to be a good dps or as good a healer as they need to be on harder difficulties. with some of the aoe nukes if you aren't using something exploitative to solo, it also seems like eventually or relatively soon, the power of enemies needs tanks to be able to take the damage in party members stead some. maybe not completely but it seems like tanks are tanky enough to be able to absorb the damage, but they cant intervene, so they will wind up the last person standing with everyone else ko'd. it'd be cool to make them take more damage to maintain them defending the party and the healer prioritizing them, and would work better for immersion, for the "stand behind me. ill protect you" character fantasy.

Oh, I know. But the entire process of raising Adorable Floof Daughter is her training montage, so the likelihood of the Champ being able to influence KinuQuest via any additional training or advice is pretty much zero.

Per Tobs, the reason the other games have so many numbers to peruse in the codex/stat screens is because of Jacques, who isn't working on CoC2, so it's probably not happening.



Also, those numbers for likes/dislikes just affect Tease damage, they have effectively no bearing on the writing except for the small handful of characters written with very specific preferences. There's a reason that Ryn's anal capacity mechanic isn't being supported in any new content.
