I'd rather have Ryn as queen. As much as I love Kas's character, demons should not be allowed to rule over innocent-ish people. Maybe Alissa could be the first to try out our Wayforts stocks as public punishment.. strap her in then conveniently lose the keys.

Only because the laws are apparently written in such a way that she can't be forcibly stripped of her title, only by judicial combat, abdication or death, and neither Ryn nor Elthara thinks that ignoring the laws would be a good idea. Alissa is however explicitly declared an outlaw subject to arrest if she ever sets foot in the city again and since all her toadies are dead or corrupted and pretty much the entire city saw her become a demon, there's nobody who particularly wants her back. That Ryn is regent rather than queen at this point is more or less a formality.

Savin has talked about how this can play out and low-Confidence Ryn can by implication become a figurehead while the Champ exercises the real power if you want to be all corrupt and shit, but just because 'Corruption' is in the title doesn't mean that every possible way for the player to be a colossal jackass is going to be in the game. Ryn's complicated enough without writing an entire 'and then I put her evil bitch of a sister back on the throne for shits and giggles' gamestate that would have to be accounted for as well. Which you don't have the authority to do anyways.
Still, Alissa is still technically Queen on paper and through real history we can see many hated Queen and Kings getting reinstated. And as long as it is not officially recorded, anything could change. Hell, even if it is official as you could get, that never stopped humanity of pushing the laws under the rug in vain attempt for selfish gain.

Now, considering what Elthara said about the whole "lack of nobility" and the fact that we can become one, getting to that point seems feasible since reinstating a Noble in old times was as a daily yearly expirience as you could get. Especially in times of great turmoil.

Especially if something happened to Ryn (like if she died or something along those lines) since than Ali would remain only remaining loyalty you know.

Yeah, not happening, therefore moot. Savin has talked about what would happen in the event of Ryn not having an heir and it boils down to 'someone trusted would become the next monarch'. That excludes Evil Demon Bitch.

Again, just because the game could do something doesn't mean that it will, or that anyone is interested in tracking yet another gamestate especially since the essence of 'someone else is running the show' is already completely covered by 'low-Con Ryn is the figurehead while the Champ pulls the strings'.
Maybe Alissa could be the first to try out our Wayforts stocks as public punishment.. strap her in then conveniently lose the keys.
The throne room stocks are still there after clearing the city for a reason, so that's a possibility as well, but Savin's mentioned that bringing her to the Wayfort stockades if you make them is definitely planned...

There's still the question of: how to bang a demon without getting your soul extracted in the process.

I feel like we were arguing "would it be possible to put Ali on the throne" not from meta aspects (are authors willing/capable or not) but from in game justification (would it be possible). So I do not see why you would start conversation about logistics of it comming to fruition in universe just to diffuse any further conversation by saying "well, authors do not want so no dice".

Not like I was clamouring for it to be implemented. I thought we were arguing semantics for the hell of it.

Alissa is an outlaw and there's effectively nobody left in the Winter City who'd accept her back even if there weren't standing orders to arrest her, and the succession mechanics apparently have a method for someone not named Var Riddell to continue the monarchy, they'd just prefer that the line continue because they're traditionalists. Arguing that Alissa returning to power could be justified in-story is pointless because everything is set up to say no, no she can't. It's like arguing that Edward VIII could have become king again after abdicating; Maybe if you had an Infinite Improbability Drive and could do six impossible things before breakfast you could imagine it happening, but you don't and can't, so it won't.

If those corrupted fluids can't touch you, you're probably reasonably safe. So depending on what sort of banging we're talking about, heading over to KM and asking for some of that latex to make condoms, gloves or a full-body hazmat suit would probably do the trick.

Weren't most of nobility killed or taken by Kas and her goons in wake of their departure. That, I also presume, also includes her detractors in possession of power. Also, considering that the player can become part of that Nobility and can possess the huge swaying power inside of it (if our title means anything) than that is already one supporter. Now, courtly politics are beyond my area of expertise, but abducting a royal had as much of an effect as hand behind it. And as we see, the remaining elves do not have as much swaying power as they once had.

Huh...it hadn't even ocurred to me that we could use latex gear that way....

What a surprising lack of creativity on my part...o_O

Remember kids: wrap it before you tap it. It could save your soul.

nobody left in the Winter City who'd accept her back even if there weren't standing orders to arrest her,

But what about Gytha, president and sole member of the Alissa fan club? She'd be sad. And who among us, besides me, could possibly want to bully a poor delusional elf?

Also, considering that the player can become part of that Nobility and can possess the huge swaying power inside of it (if our title means anything) than that is already one supporter.

Do you really dislike Ryn so much that you'd rather keep Alissa just to spite her? And it's not like Alissa was good at her job anyway.

I do not dislike Ryn. I would actually like more of her low confidence content since it is so malnourished.
I just find the concept of having Alissa as your queen/wife pleasing (love her design) and find the prospect of reinstating her into power feasible from in story perspective. As for her not being good at her job? Yeah, fair point. Would be fun to learn it with her if nothing else.

I still fail to see the logic in that, Alissa is one of the characters designed to absolutly hate. Also to the one earlier statment, at this point im pretty sure others would have to take it into there hands for some lovin the boys in the kitsune. Or wait a while.

Waiting for sexable male kitsune isn't going to do anything. If you want a nice man-floof to snuggle, you're going to need to dust off that high school English and open a google doc.

Gotcha! I'm really sorry if this is a well-trodden topic here on the forums — it was just the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title. :)

I really like the kitsune den content that already exists, and the level of care that's been put into the area (and every character in it) is clear. I played the Rindo pregnancy arc recently and loved it. She's so sweet.

I’d like to see Berwyn’s topping scenes altered so he can actually knot you outside of his breeding scene for female & intersex Champs. I mean, my main Champ is getting railed by Brint’s 2’+ horsecock on the regular, so I’m pretty sure he can take Berry’s knot :p

Edit: The fact that he can’t honestly always stood out as being rather bizarre, since you can get absolutely plowed by bigger cocks (Brint, Centaurs, Sugo, Centaur Behemoth, Nikol, etc) without issue, but no knotting for Berry unless he’s knocking you up.

It's very easy to do. Losing your soul isn't something that happens the instant you stick your dick in a demon, you gotta keep going and going like a horny energizer bunny to your breaking point (mentally and physically), then go even further beyond.

A quickie every other week won't rip your soul out, even Daliza's troops at the Wayfort buy time with Farrah when they save up enough to afford her.

There is no option to press the urgency of dealing with Kassyra when meeting Mallach, sure she might not be a threat in his perspective and we dont actually know yet that she will figure out how to steal divine essence but at least one should be capable of mentioning it.
I assume he would probably wave his hands and mumble something about "underway preparations for a decisive action when neccesary" before going on with the tour of the palace.

Which to me personally does not make much sense, especially in Lumias case. So she fought a creature stronger than Kas, which implies that she would need to use more power dealing with it than dealing with Kas yet the we all still ended up fine even though we were in the middle of the clash. So, what gives? Can they control their power output or not?

Lumia came down personally for that, because it was an Actual Wraith-class monster breaking into this dimension. Which is an "Oh God NO" level event that must be dealt with at all costs, illustrated by what it did to Kas's daughters and every elf it could reach. Also, it fled and she gave chase (she even threatened Kas at the time), we weren't around to actually see what she ended up smiting it with or how big of a crater it left.

I mean, in short time that Kas graced us with her presence she:
Enslaved people
Created armies
Overthrew a monarchy
Strengthened the influence of a no named cult
Summoned that same monster that Lumia came in blows with.

My problem with the Seven is how their role in our quest is poorly defined. They seem to inact their judgement whenever plot demands it.

The "gods" of CoCII are pretty terrible, they just come off so much more as DMPCs getting jerked-off by the writing when compared to the portrayal of Gods in the first CoC game.
Doesn't help that its planned in the dev documents to actually bring back one of said first game Gods just to have him be a loser villain that exists to be beaten for the sake of the CoC2 Kitsunes (who have their own problems when it comes to the writing favouring them).

I think Mallach states that the reason they don't off Kas is because they're interested in her experiments and also the Champion. I also think Savin confirmed the entire story happens within 3 months. So maybe not enough time to act or care?

The Kitsune content is done by one writer so it's not favoritism from the team it's just TheObserver enjoys and is dedicated to writing the kitsune content so we get it faster and a ton of it before other stuff.

By happy coincidence, there's this Champion running around...
That somehow has Keros being genuinly interested in, so it says a lot.
Can they control their power output or not?
They know how to concentrate it down to prevent comeplete destruction, which isnt weakining it.
My problem with the Seven is how their role in our quest is poorly defined. They seem to inact their judgement whenever plot demands it.
I mean, they dont want people to become to reliant on them, but will help when its genuinlly in a super fucked situation, Like through sanders we learn that Velun can easily handle the corruption she spread even through blessing.

I thought Tobs dropped the idea of bringing Taoth back?
