after reading the salamander codex i was wondering why can't we have the uncommon eye colors like orange, red, green, and blue colors but can only have the gold colored eyes?
something is better than nothing
More eye colors and appearance options are indeed on the docket. However, the appearance system as a whole is undergoing a large coding overhaul at the moment, so new appearances are more or less on hold until that's done.after reading the salamander codex i was wondering why can't we have the uncommon eye colors like orange, red, green, and blue colors but can only have the gold colored eyes?
You expect me to know that when you're a newbie in terms of posting here. :Uthankyou for explaining gay lingo to me, a very obviously gay dude
As people have said a thousand times before, creating a content switch now would be a lot of work as the other switches were built into the game at the start so that everyone could account for it in their writing if the switch is relevant. Also virtually is spelled virtually. Please capitalize the beginnings of your sentences too. That seems like a really annoying system to work with but I guess that's fair. though what's stopping you from going around it instead of through it? content can be toggled in the main menu so would it be possible to have two vertually identical events linked to an or switch?
There's relatively few characters where you could just swap and dump words to make it fit well with alternative demographics, and as has been pointed out, they don't really have parsers and stuff written for the things that you'd want changing because they weren't supposed to be changed, so there's a good bit more work on the coding side too.I admit my coding skills are next to nonexistent beyond shitty copy-paste based modding but in terms of writing thats all it is, and stats wise it's mostly changing pre-existing values right?
It's very likely easier to adapt old content but if you want it to be good it's still going to be a large time investment. I don't think furries, regardless of sexuality, are known for spending money on poorly made porn which has them as an afterthought, so it would need to be an investment and a risk, a completely unnecessary one.I read it, I just don't agree. Whether by poll or sales you can't base demand on people you haven't marketed to, and in terms of cost it's easier to adapt old content than to create new stuff, and it's not like gay furries are known for spending money on porn or anything...
Oftentimes I'd rather a character be open to sexing all champs, but for some the sexual content (and kinks) it does specifically need certain genitals. Like Kiyoko and Gwyn who are probably the main source of a pregnancy fetish in this game, I think. With Garret specifically, the sadomasochistic content is built around the champ being female: If you had some of the more basic scenes of his they could be shifted to male specifically but with how much of his sexual content is built around the champ having a pussy and being feminine, and would require drastic rewrites and changes to who he is to cater towards a male champion. I should know, my primary character went through this content with him, but I stopped doing that because of that time where he punched her because she wanted rough sex while pregnant.this makes more sense considering there's already lots of characters that fill these niches, but even then it's a pointless waste. would it really improve any players playthrough by knowing that other players were barred from that content?
So any bit of content which does not make itself open to literally everyone, regardless of artistic intent, shits on people who want it regardless.again it adds nothing to the character and only serves to shit on fans who wanted it considering it's one of the few things that caters to them. why can't it be changed?
If nobody else can tell you're joking, then perhaps you should make better jokes. Also, once again, "that's."^thats the joke
Personally, I think I'd rather see nothing than see poorly made content.something is better than nothing
Perhaps if you only looked at the first image of Quint, but if you looked at the second in-game image, you'd get, well, a different picture.thankyou for explaining gay lingo to me, a very obviously gay dude. you are wrong, that's not what that means.
I do genuinely believe that you believe you're making good-faith arguments and points. You wouldn't be saying this if you didn't believe it, and that's the definition of what good faith is. The problem is that you're arguing for points which have been disused to death already, and which pretty much everyone here have already concluded are bad. also you forgot an apostrophe in the second "I'm."Again: long time player. started playing CoC 1 around 2017, arrived a little late for CoC 2 but definitely before Garret was introduced because it don't think it said on the update page that his content was slashed for male players and I played his whole stupid quest where he reveals himself to be a giant gary stu asshole. I do genuinely like these games and I'm saying this stuff after slogging through the bullshit to find any scenes that actually apply to me. Im talking about my problems with the game in good faith...
A lot of us make critiques and criticisms of the game (like myself, again, in regards to how I can't fuck Ryn's ass if the champ's dick is longer than 12 inches, and also how masturbation scenes still put you to sleep every time) and will discus those criticisms. But when a statement goes against a rather wide sentiment, like the idea that authors should be in charge of the work that they're writing, and the person making that argument insists on sticking to it (especially with a combative tone like "all of you who are disagreeing with me are just getting pissy"), people won't generally have patience for it.why make this thread if you're all just going to get pissy with me for critiquing a game.
So, your lesson of the day:n regards to how I can't fuck Ryn's ass if the champ's dick is longer than 12 inches
Oh, that's how? I remember reading people saying it's possible to stretch her ass, but I never figured it out. I couldn't find actual instructions on how to do it, so I just guessed like "maybe if you fuck her enough at 12 inches she'll shift and eventually be able to go slightly bigger," and when that didn't work I guessed that it may be if you try to do it monstrously repeatedly it'll eventually stretch to fit that (since at the end of the scene the character says they'll get their cock in her eventually). So, your lesson of the day:
If you expand your cock, fuck her ass monstrously, and then reduce it back down, she'll have stretched
Quinn has next to no content and is femme as hell, he's literally a pink bunny

I think Tolkien might be horrified to know the Hobbit is being referenced for a text smut RPG with giant demon girl horse cock. But, I also applaud the answer.I mean, everyone knows the sport of golf was invented when Bullroarer Took knocked Chief Golfimbol's head off and sent it flying into a hole in the ground with his wooden club, so "golfball-sized" is perfectly reasonable.
Makes me wonder what Jim Butcher would think about a hung horsey girl with a thing for elf pussy being named for one of his minor characters, in said smut game. But given that she only exists because he wanted to prove a point about how craft can make a bad concept work (and one of the concepts he was given to work with was Pokemon) I imagine he'd have a good sense of humor about it if he ever found out.I think Tolkien might be horrified to know the Hobbit is being referenced for a text smut RPG with giant demon girl horse cock. I keep hearing about Ryn. She is sorta the mascot of the game at this point. On Corruption, I am torn. On the one hand you do want to degrade and break someone because fucked up power fantasy. But on the other hand, that transforms every interaction into that of abuser and sex object. My personal taste would be to degrade but offer a fucked up but geniune affection as a master. That leads into my main gripe with the game so far, there isn't a lot of Corruption options right now. For a game with the premise of going full rape conqueror or being the pure hero, I don't feel you can be that bad and be rewarded for it as is. Minus a few one time events like forcefully fucking Sugo when you find him. There's also something like this for Ryn right now. Savin's mentioned that she's got two stats that dictate her personality (Libido and an invisible confidence meter) and it's going to have a noticeable effect on the Winter City content. Right now you can build her up by making her more confident (to the point that she's looking forward to punching the sister she was previously terrified of the next time they meet) or you can break her down even more and basically give her a wicked victim complex where she comes to think she deserves the degradation. If you're a horrible person.(loads up a save to give Ryn a hug and cuddle, just because)
Ryn's got a lot of future content planned and Savin only knows what the details are, but as Alypia (who's written a lot of great supplemental content for her) pointed out a few months back, when Ryn has high Confidence as well as Libido she's less 'sex object' and more 'switchy'. Though low-Confidence/high-Libido Ryn is pretty much a broken mess right now and I can't imagine that would change with future content, especially given the way the game keeps reminding you about that collar she's wearing... and moreso with some other things Savin has mentioned might be in the works.I keep hearing about Ryn. This has been discussed a bunch and the quick answer is 'it's coming'. For story reasons, increased corruption was gated behind the Winter City plot (that post of mine you quoted is almost a year old, before it was implemented) and it's just starting to become more of A Thing. By way of example, it's only recently that we got the resolutions to the Land of Milky Honey and Harboring a Fugitive quests, both of which feature an obvious corruption route. That leads into my main gripe with the game so far, there isn't a lot of Corruption options right now.
Though, on the other hand, fighting multiple enemies can be murder gangbang if it goes wrong. Still, fun game.

Nice. Did the Kasyria Old Forest event where she is disguised as a witch. I am liking her personality. For an demonic sex goddess, she is very in needs of hugs. And Sorry for the quote from a long post. Unless it was the hobbit one. Savin has mentioned that corruption of companions is going to be a character-specific thing meaning that it's also author-specific as to whether it will exist and if so what form it will take. So... soon(ish) (tm).
While we are on the topic on weapons are there even any polearms/flails present? The distinct disparity in new uniques gear each release. Best melee weapon a sword and board can get get is still the old af sanctified gladius. Still no tank gauntlets or body armor. Yet we have multiple options for two handed weapons with more coming all the time and a good variation of mage and thief armor. Sucks to try and play a dual-wielding warrior.

Even with alchemy to specify which area to target, the rng of transformatives still sometimes quite annoying. Specifically in the use of blue eggs and pink eggs with a turgid mushroom. "Alright, my dick is 15 inches and I want to lower it to 12. Hopefully this takes off 3 inches... nope, just one. Alright, and the next... just takes off one. Alright, so the third one took off 3 why do you only do this now"
And, well, it feels disappointingly weak. Like, it's still stronger than Brint's level 6 cleave, and that's good, but it's not really good at that point. It's rare and powerful, enough that you want to save it for a special situation, but when you actually do use it, it's relatively underwhelming.
I dunno if it's been mentioned, but... why no bedtime cuddling for Ryn? Is that something that's in the works and coming eventually, or intentionally left out, or just an oversight?
