How can I see this dialogue of Arona talking about Brienne?
I remember there being a talk with Arona where she first says how she would love to colar Brienne as a bed warmer or something, and then about how she thinks Brienne is a racist torwards orcs or something after she refuses her orcish advances. I remember reading it somewhere.

And while the Tui talk was confirmed to be wrong by Bubble and going to be changed, I have to admit I got a good laugh when, for all his memeing on players not reading and misinterpreting Quin's content, he himself admitted to never having read the two paragraphs of Tui's companion talk.
Was she? While that would make since, do you have a link or a screenshot to Bubble saying that Tui's lines weren't accurate?
For real though, sad I missed this debate. I am pretty good at writing, I think, but my coding skills are nonexistent so... womp womp. I would contribute to the man-puddle of content if I could
The writing doesn't really need much coding. Yeah, there's coding, but that's done by coders after the writer is done, and when doing the writing itself, the closest you get is using parsers and setting up scene variations.

On the note of "not forcing quests on the players", can we get an option to ignore the wayfort maids quest? Or at least turn off the maid events once it's complete?

Also, an option to turn of the wayfort events in general would be nice, they're kind of annoying.

I sorta agree with this. While I think including an option to enable or disable them entirely may be a bit too much maybe some sort of cooling period for certain events would be good? It feels like I see the Farrah haggling event at least once a day while wandering through the wayfort. I don't want to disable the scene entirely but I do feel like I see it too frequently. I don't know how complicated it'd be to code into the game but some sort of function that would check how long it'd been since the last time that scene had played and prevent it from repeating if the player had seen it recently would be nice.

Farrah haggling and puppy catches a thief happen too often yeah. High proc chance for first one then like, 1/20 of the current proc chance and it'd be okay. How many merchants are going through the wayfort and how many thieves are there for that to happen so often lmao.

Hmmmmm! I didn't realize this, I thought pretty much everyone had to mock-up coding and it just got reviewed and implemented by someone else. Perhaps in my free time I'll write up a big orc bottom with a big green butt. Who potentially is also into femchamp's boobies too.

Then give us a way to opt-out of Quin without being evil for it, if he's doing something morally wrong and he's engaging with a kink that is pretty non-universal. Like we have a way to opt-out of the drunk kitsune I can't remember the name of. I have always said that if I'm given a way to send quin off on a mission or whatever and just get rid of him after saving him (because the way the game contextualizes it, I am evil for not doing so) I will happily do so, and shut the fuck up about him from then on.

At least it's incredibly easy to get rid of corruption by spending time in the cloister.

True, but I always prefer to have never gained it. And telling Quin to kick dirt feels like not what my character would do, in a roleplaying game, so it annoys me to potentially have to do that. Also, afaik it's impossible to get all the rewards from the boat mission of winter wolf without quinn, which, while not a big deal, is annoying. It's just a big pileup of a bunch of annoying shit with having to deal with this dude that I truly do not want to have to deal with in a game which is, at its core, supposed to be a fun power fantasy of playing a sexy phoenix knight (for me, of course, I imagine the specific power fantasy differs for others lmao) and getting topped by a bunch of hot ladies.

What does Quin give to winter wolf?

I did it with a Thief PC and Arona, maxed out Strength, Agility, and Willpower and then drank a Honey Mead. I also had Cait with me but idk if she helped or not. you can get everything in the hold with time to spare.

Are there actually phoenix transformative items in the game? I don't think I've personally encountered any yet, or if I did I wasn't paying attention and sold it...

I thought we were cool!
Oh, we are cool. As it is known, for there to be tops, there have to be equal amount of bottoms. It is just that since most vocal people of this community are bottoms when comes to guys, you kind of start to wonder "do no tops/doms play this game."

Now of course that is all how it seems. As shown by that steem guy, and by the poll that I made, there are many people willing to top/power bottom guys, it is just that they do not really express themselves since the game itself does not have much oppurtunites to do that. As we have argued past week.

Still, it was nice just hearing someone other than me express my frustrations. And a nice moral boost to finish all the stuff I have cooking up for the game.

There are several parts of the quest where Quinn is needed to get the optimal outcome unless your character is a thief with high Cunning and/or Dexterity.
I know Ryn is good to have to take out the guards on ship quietly. Arona for the drinks cabinet and the rest I get with my champs. I take it you dont mean the ship part?

So, there are 6 events that can give a strike if you don't have the right bonuses. You can have everything possible to get with 3 strikes. If we ignore the champ requirements (Since I play a char without +70% agi or cunning, or either of the relevant BGs), then you can get through only 2 of the 6, via Ryn for the Crew Quarters and solving the puzzle for the Lockbox, without incurring a strike. This leaves you with 1 thing you have to miss out on. You can solve this with using some form of booze that increases your stats, which is annoying to bring to the mission, or with just having Quint. No other way. Arona is also mandatory to get the rewards from some events if you don't have Quint or the background, but she does still incur the strike.

Evidence below:

Crew Quarters (Ryn, Quint, +70% agi champ)
Cargo Hold (+70% cunning champ)
Captain's Cabin (Thief BG, Quint)
Lockbox (Puzzle)
Liquor Cabinet (Slum Rat BG, Quint)
Cupboard (Thief BG, Slum Rat BG, Quint)

So, in all, it's only possible to get all 6 without having the right background by specifically using one of the forms of Mead - Presumably Garth's honey mead for early-availability and convenience, but it's annoying to have to run back there to grab it. The 1 day time limit isn't too damning but also can definitely run out on you. I also just don't like using the alcohol buffs, I find it unsatisfying and weird that the best way to maximize a stat much of the time is to purposefully not invest in it so you can boost it with consumables.
Quint: Technically not required, but for some champs it's him or arona + etheryn + mead, with no other option.

Yeah, true. Also, while I appreaciate the choices in the quest and different outcomes depending on the party, I do kind dislike how you get to circumvent all the chalanges with a right party.

Take me for examle. I have just now finished the winter quest line, and the boat boarding left me feeling underwhelmed since I have accidentally had everything I needed for full success. A thieving background, cunning, agility and arona with me. Nice bit of world and plot expansion still, but I feel like players being able to circumvent every chalanege in quest line if they have right prerequisites seems to extreme of a way to make your choices/build matter.

I still appreciate what the game has done, just maybe next time real it back in a little.

Also, can we make it so that we can finish that quest line without taking Gweyr back home. I personally see no reason to do so since I do not get to fuck the GILF, so leaving her off to die alone seems only appropriate.

I was completely just kidding and adding a gif for dramatic flair lol. I figured we were cool, even with our one disagreement two years ago.

But I get what you mean about being excited about having someone who shares your interest. I remember back in ye olden days before I ever dared considered posting that there was so little desire for male content that it just felt wrong to mention it. Which is part of why I post now- because there are other posters who enjoy engaging with male NPCs.

Also if you make corrupt content (morally corrupt as opposed to demonic-corrupt-score corruption) then, if it isn't an overly large burden, it might be really popular if you add some options to become corrupted too. Like "whoops you drank the potion and now you're the living bridge that brings that happy couple together as they Eiffel Tower you." But also, scratch your own itches first lol.

I'm starting to think Atugia is cursed and any interaction with her should wait for when I completed every others quests in the game. I was doing the quest to fit an armour to Quintillus and suddenly

"Maybe he's still sore from yesterday's training. You did go at him a lot with that shield. Cait saw him and even she was worried despite healing him. Rune was even giving him a massage later, but he was so exhausted he didn't even seem to notice."

I have no idea who Rune is. Is Atugia a clairvoyant that can see the future NPC I'll encounter? But yeah because Atugia always has problem with her dialogues, I stopped talking to her at all and reloaded an older save before having Quintillus as a companion and training him, he's a bit of an asshole and I'm sad I can't boot him out of Hawkethorne now.

Did you do caits temple quest? I think (?)she pops in after that quest as a priestess like cait.

She's not a priestess like Cait and Sally, but Rune does appear once you construct Catte Temple and is working/living there on a temporary basis. If she's mentioned and you haven't done the temple quest, then it's probably a case of 'she's there, you just don't see her' in the same way that there are hundreds of people in Hawkthorne and we only interact with about twenty.

Also, she gives great hugs.

Discount? Hey now, Cait doesn't actually charge you for hugs and cuddles. Rune is the expensive brand that tastes the same but is better because it costs more.

Huh I actually never knew there was that much variation in that particular part of quest guess I'll have to try those combos. Thank you for the info!

I am definitely glad we can save in dungeons now. Shame the update doesn't let us swap party members mid-dungeon run too. Sometimes there's parts where different party members can provide special benefits or unique comments but with only 2 slots there's not much chance to experiment.

Noticed that for some combat encounters the "leave" button in the victory screen is in different positions. Sometimes its the lower right and wants me to hit G, other times its literally the third or fourth option in the top and wants me to hit 3 or 4. Is there a reason why its not uniform across all encounters? Its a minor gripe at the end of the day but still annoying.

Example off the top of my head; In harvest valley the marefolk shamans have their "leave" button on the victory scenes down in the lower right bound to the G key. Also in harvest valley are the lupine archer/warrior duo encounter but in their victory sex scenes the "leave" button is in the upper bar far right bound to the 5 key.

I actually like this because to me it helps create the feeling that the area I'm in is actually a dungeon. It'd be different if there was a waystone or something in the dungeon itself but otherwise it makes sense that you can't just snap your fingers and change out party members instantly.

Totally agree with the saving thing though, much needed for sure.

Game has finally gone too far. Even i can't tolerate such degeneracy!
No, not far enough.

Not a direct game gripe per say, but why is there always ONE auto save that refuses to be deleted? XD I don't get it.
