To each their own, personally I would rater the content say focused on the current vein. Feature creep can really slow down thingsDidnt even know that was in the cards! That would be pretty great though
Id offer a counterpoint in that this is not true to every writer and that diversifying tends to increase the things you can do with an NPC.
Wsan in particular is a very odd writer to point this out with.
Consider Brint/Brienne, despite some doomsaying when Brienne initially came along both have continued to recieve content at fairly regular intervals, maintained rough parity and are some of the most wide-ranging companions in the game if you count them as separate. While easily crushing the rest if you count them together in terms of content.
Also, feature creep does not really work with writing (coding yes). What matters with writing is what gets the writer going more, so its ultimately a bit of a moot point in comparison to what it is that gets Wsan going on a particular day. From that perspective having as many options as possible is actually great since it makes it easier to strike Wsan's bullseye (well, mino-eye) towards Evelyn more consistently!
hey Wsan, I understand if you can't or won't answer this about minotown, but will we be able to get into Khorminos before the plot demands entry? Im pretty sure big red shows up there at some point and demands our attention, but will we not be able to engage with all the content before that? Again, i understand if thats something you cant disclose because of spoilers, you havent decided, or you just dont feel like it, but its something i wanted to ask.
Fair enough, I meant more in the sense that it seems harder to get bored of writing for the same character if you have more options with what you can do with them. Since some writers seem to swerve away to different projects after working on the same char (especially very specific ones) for a while.
Granted, that is from an outsiders perspective so it is probably very flawed.
Quite the opposite, since you actually have to sit down and manually write every word of those options. imo, anyway
I have wanted to write multiple NPCs in TiTS for years, with no work to show for any of them aside whats in my head, but I finally made myself write a one off scene fro a character in the game already and i got it done in a week. granted Savin or fen could have written that scene in an hour or two, but smaller is easier.
Just finally doubled back to check in with Elthara after finishing elf dungeon, and HOLY FUCKING SHIT. There is like 7 options? and the oral has 2 paths to go down? and there is at least 3 companions you can sick on her (Im positive brint would be an option if he isn't turned into best girl, and im relatively positive Arona has or will have one too)? And who knows how many "double team" options? and they are all rough, hardcore sex that is somewhat lacking elsewhere? I love you so much Wsan, thank you for this delicious content.
Brint is meant to have a tooltip if he's been turned into Brienne, actually.
And yeah, Arona does have a scene there. Glad you like the elf.
Quick question for ya Wsan just ran into her again (Tbf I completely forgot about her since I don't visit Frostwood often) but does the sleeping snake girl have a name?
She doesn't. I might give her a quick poke and update after I'm done with the dryads. She's been sleeping in a tree long enough.
