I don't think this is going to help at all, I don't see how being rude is going to make Savin more amenable to your overtures, especially if we ascribe the motives you have to him. If anything it would be the opposite. I'm gonna bow out of this now, just wanted to say my peace.
this doesnt even make sense. how is Savin supposed to "figure out" why Will didn't submit something. and what does that have to do with losing writers? Will chose not to submit the content and chose to retire.

there are managers who have poor discord with their employees. spike down enough ideas of one employee and its clear they don't/won't see eye to eye. being pushed to projects they're less passionate about, become fatigued, and leave. the unsubmitted content ? maybe he knew it would get spiked

Will made himself extremely depressed attempting to force out more writing for this game and realised he had to stop for the sake of his own health. He needed a clean break and that's why he's not here to address any of this. It's not much more complicated than that.
Attempting to assign blame or pressure senior members of staff to accept rejected or half-complete projects won't magically make him come back and revive them. There isn't one weird trick that will get the thing you've been waiting for to appear. It's not coming. I'm genuinely sorry. For the record I reviewed that Sophora expansion at Will's request and I told him myself that Fen was right, it needed a lot of revisions to be acceptable. It read like it belonged to a different, worse game. Probably because it was written by someone who was depressed and didn't want to do this anymore.

Will completed a wide range of content that is well loved, as well as personally commissioning loads of art for it, and that should be his legacy, not a handful of might-have-been ghosts. Just so it's clear, you accomplished nothing but making yourself look unhinged and ineffectual. William's inability to remain productive and maintain quality is littered all over this thread and others. Literally all you had to do was look through William's posts about his struggles with his writing or even look at how many projects he had completed in recent years. It shouldn't take a staff writer and three community writers to convince you of what's already written plain as day.
I'm not saying this just because I like being a dick. I'm saying this because this weird over-aggressive discourse has directly contributed to at least one writer leaving the community.
Maybe the reason why his writing dwindled is because with all the projects he had on his plate, he was put in charge of writing the entirety of phendra, and he probably wasn’t motivated to write it, so the pressure of not not finishing the content like Leila and Bianca finally broke him
i am unhinged and i wear that. i dont follow most things on here so i wouldnt know everything about will and his struggles, i just hate the energy of some writers that bleeds into their characters, will was not one of them(ill admit that sophora was bland). i also just dislike savin, a couple lines from some of his characters tell me he fundametally perceives relationships in a way i cant respect. i enjoy thinking i can fix that by posting the way i do, i'll find out a year from now.
i get volatile writers too, most whos additions are precious patches of fresh air, who arent here anymore, i agree that the community shouldnt be agressive n has the duty to embrace them, but more importantly so does staff.. strawberry_tea was talking about resorting to stealing groceries theyre so broke, and i havent seen them since(are they active on the discord?), and i love their additions.
to me this community is a circle jerk, staff and fans, only natural for any long standing franchise, i am intentionally shitting on everything i have a problem with, in hopes it changes, so it might be prettier for the next. i believe in pressure, im not intelligent enough to convince people i dont know to love themselves(im getting there tho)(imo self love is essential for explosive art, every piece of yourself, some of you writers have insecutites that keep you from this), im agressive enough to try to beat them into it, i can carry the animosity that comes with that im no bitch

Will wrote a handful of scenes to support the Train Quest. That's all the Phaedra work he was assigned. He finished all that work MANY months before he left.
I wrote most of Train Quest and ALL of the Phaedra plot material before that, and community writers picked up most of the random encounters.
At least you have one valid point.
Well out of all of this stuff, I wish the best for Will, but I just really hope that someone picks-up where Will left off at, especially for Leila the futa-bunny women and for the huge milf Bianca too.

While I can appreciate the approach of banging your head against the wall until you make something happen, that doesn't have the best track record around here. It worked all of twice as far as I can remember. One instance included input of multiple writers and the other was just a lot of people pissed off about Riya. Both of which resulted in very minor changes. You might have very specific ideas about aspects of how certain characters are bothering you, but if you don't communicate that in a way that is actually constructive, it can and will most likely fall on deaf ears.
While I might disagree with the energy of writers bleeding into their characters on a fundamental level being a bad thing, it doesn't mean that it may not be unfitting for the setting or tone of either game in any specific instance. It might not be a discussion for here, but it's definitely one that has merit.
As for Savin, if you came to the table with the specific instances of his writing and how prevalent those issues are across his body of work, he would probably be much more likely to hear you out. You do need to keep in mind how long he has been doing this and the sheer amount of complaints that just boil down to "I don't like X fetish". His patience has likely worn down quite a bit and managing a game while acting as a full time writer likely lends itself to him not wanting to waste his time.
Strawberry_tea's situation is an odd one and I'm not sure there is really a whole lot that the staff can do for them. Finding decent employment with a recent criminal record is likely out of the wheelhouse for the staff.
Applying pressure is fine, but it needs to be direct and precise to the actual issue. You also need to back that up with instances of the issue and how you think it could be better. Broad generalizations and vague posting about how something can be better doesn't get us anywhere. When I was in the Air Force most SNCOs would tell you to not come to them with a problem without a solution, which isn't a bad policy. Even if your solution doesn't work, it at least showed that you had real intent to follow through and make sure it gets addressed.
I'm glad you have that part of yourself that you are proud of and hope that it continues to bring you confidence going forward. I would just keep in mind that people can be dicks for a variety of reasons and not all of those reasons are equal. Maybe think about reasons that somebody may be a dick and how that might inform how they might be currently acting. You're getting a very limited glimpse into who they are as a person and are likely focusing on a limited number of interactions spanning well over a decade in this instance.

Late to the party - I'm very sorry to hear William won't be finishing his work, since Bianca's my favourite content in TiTS. Best wishes to him, especially coping with burnout; I know the feeling, and it can be truly soul-crushing if writing is important to you. I hope, if nothing else, that someone can pick up the torch someday.
