It also definitely matters if there is more to it than simply being knocked up and filling the childcare. Sadly in comparison to Kiyoko there simply isn't any content for anyone fathering your children to make it feel so developed to be a family, so while being a mother is okay, reasons to go there are few.
As of right now, I think Arona's the only character who actually talks to Champ about having a family before trying to have a family, and she only does that for Champs with dicks. And she's also Arona, so: not everyone's cup of tea, let alone everyone's idea of a good co-parent.

Huh, kind of suprised. Only "kind off" since Arona herself said how much she wanted to be a mother. But I always assumed that it was referring to how the children she had with as were the ones that she would look after. Not like others who were pump and dumps deal.

Gonna add some thoughts of mine as well. In TiTS you have quite a few of characters who you have a steady relationship build-up with. Fisianna, Bianca, Ben/Bess are first to pop into my mind, with many more having a certain degree of development of their feelings toward you. Plus a few of potential fathers to Steele's children also have some degree of interaction as a family. Which is why some of us may have approached CoC2 with more expectations.
I think I'm beginning to understand. The thing is, both sweet romantic feelings and relationship progression are present for many of the companions, and even some of the NPCs. Kiyoko's had both for a long time. Elyon's gotten it more recently. Cait and Arona have them, after a fashion. Brint and Brienne have more romance than progression, but the latter's still there and the relationship is far from "complete". Quin's romance is started, but not fully implemented yet (much like Bianca's). And, of course, Etheryn's kind of the poster girl in this game for both "sweet romance" and "progressive, developing relationship".
I'm sure i read somewhere on this forum that straight sex in the game wasn't something that was big with the fans. While I prefer women if there is a man that takes my fancy then I'm happy to interact with them. (Brint for example until I made him into Brienne)

I think I prefer the way dickgirl/herm content is written, but there are exceptions, like Elyon, and also Brint's anal scene, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I think I'm less likely to go back to scenes where my Champ is doing the reaming/fucking, unless I like how it was written. I'm kind of picky in that sense.
