Correct.

That is true... Like I said, I'm down for Jill being my co-pilot, I remember making a save just before Taivra's palace, just to intentionally lose and read the game over where we bang. I just feel that would have already been an option by now, especially since you can save her in Dhaal, and you've already saved her once before that two planets ago from that point in the game, so it should have already been an option by then. It could have been an Email asking to talk in a neutral area like the Tavros bar where you met in the intro, Jill could spill about how they aren't financially stable, which is why they're trying to steal your inheritance. You can make a deal and forgive them, remembering that your dad was the one who filled her head with lies about you and him. Depending on your personality, Kind: You reminisce on your childhood, maybe went to the same elementary school, and you two actually got along great. Mischevious: You bring up the nude picture she sent you after Mhen'ga, to which Jack/Jill get's flustered and even more embarrassed if you tell them you liked it. Hard: You lovingly scold her on how her stuck up prissy attitude gets them into trouble that you've had a habit of bailing them out of, like at Myrellion and again on Dhaal, to which she can argue with you, and you can retort how she stiffed Dane and abandoned him back on Myrellion if you talked to him first, to which shuts her up for a moment. When its finally over you can offer to team up and decide your partnership there. A 50/50 teamup, A "You owe me for all that bullshit you put me through" where you get the majority of the share, and are willing to help her with whatever aid she needs, so long as she doesn't double cross you. You could propose you hire her on as your "secretary" where you have fun on your ship, but still pay her fairly. There are plenty of ways to play this.I mean, shade exists and is still in the game. iirc the incest rules prohibit parent/child but anything else is more or less fine
If you want a dog girl to breed, you have Sam for that. She's a smart pirate tec nerd you can get from gastigoth after you help Saendra. How about a way to capture one of the bored jumpers on Zheng Shi like how you can capture one of the slave breakers? Have your own personal laquine baby maker/stud to have fun with?
Also have crewmembers be able to impregnate or be impregnated by the PC, like I want my Steele to have Syri's pups at some point, or knock up Kiro or Anno, so far I think only one or two crewmembers are capable of one of those things.
And if that was the only reason I wouldn't have said anything. He's written other characters with breeding and impregnation, and with that in mind + his explanation it's clearly got nothing to do with a personal preference and simply the fact that it's probably annoying to write.Savin doesn't like pregnancy content, he's not gonna jump at the chance to collab with somebody to write for a kink he doesn't like.
I wouldn't say it has nothing to with it but it doesn't really matter as its not gonna happen regardless so its a moot pointAnd if that was the only reason I wouldn't have said anything. With that being said though, I'm not really that latched to Anno. She's not even my favorite character; Mitzi is![]()
right, so if you actually use the reading comprehension you were talking about, you may have noticed Couch saying thisAnd if that was the only reason I wouldn't have said anything. similarly, you yourself have notedFor some historical context: Savin's aversion to pregnancy content goes back to CoC1, wherein essentially every character got pregnancy content. This included Helia, and adding pregnancy content to her kind of ruined her existing character by forcing a wild girl, which was her appeal, to take responsibility and settle down. You also couldn't avoid it, since the pregnancy event was triggered by maxing out her friendship with you.
this would indicate that it is very strongly related to how the character/character arc is intended to be written and experienced. the characters he wrote that have pregnancy have it because it fits their character arc and because Savin is a good enough writer, and developer, that he is willing and capable of writing things that are not within his personal preferences for the user experience. He's written other characters with breeding and impregnation
you may have noticed Couch saying this

I'm less attached to the character getting pregnancy content and more concerned that other characters, or future characters won't get pregnancy content in a smut game because one of the writers isn't willing to do it for one reason or another. If it's really because he wrote himself into a corner then there's nothing else to be said here. I'm not going to convince someone out of their cope.I wouldn't say it has nothing to with it but it doesn't really matter as its not gonna happen regardless so its a moot point
There's your issue. A member of the writing team his explicitly said it won't happen and you're still trying to wishful think your way around itNo I saw that, but didn't acknowledge it as fact
Because he's repeatedly said he doesn't want to.Then why not do the same for this character?
No, but thank you for the offer.Would you be open to pregnant Anno scenes it if you got help writing it in?
Dude, you've been huffing copium for four days now. Who are you to judge?I'm not going to convince someone out of their cope.
Last word syndrome. There's your issue. A member of the writing team his explicitly said it won't happen and you're still trying to wishful think your way around it
How am I coping?Dude, you've been huffing copium for four days now. Who are you to judge?
buddy, i gave you an explanation as to why things are the way that they are and your response included "i refuse to acknowledge part of that reasoning". before i even started typing, you were given many other explanations. you started this conversation by trying to turn a hard no into a yes.How am I coping?
i'll reiterate some of my explanation since your reading comprehension failed you again: it's character development in a direction that Savin does not want. a character getting stabbed could be character development. something horrible can happen to a character's significant other and it'll be character development. don't try and justify character development for the sake of character development. Finally; how does giving birth change the personality of the character? It's called character development.
you mean a fantasy about something that is unrealistic in context? see alsoIsn't there a dream Steele has
are you saying that Savin made a mistake, Savin then blames himself for that mistake, and as a result Savin has decided to... not make that mistake again. and that's a bad thing. If that is actually the reason he gives for why he doesn't like pregnancy content then it sounds more like he's hung up about a mistake HE made and is looking for a place to put blame. "I don't like writing in villains because this one time I wrote a villain that ruined a protagonist I liked" My guy, YOU wrote the character(s) that way.
this has been brought up many times and unfortunately involves an astronomical amount of work due to how customizable characters are.Anyways. Back on topic; more customization options being shown in the dynamic bust image for Steele. Horns, hair, dicks, clothing, weapons etc.

At least on my end I was just pointing out that Savin hates pregnancy content and so wouldn't wanna write it even if you offered help. Now, I personally love pregnancy and shortstacks so he and I are definitely on different wavelengths to begin with. He's entitled to that of course. However, you are right that people here tend to simp for writers to an unreasonable degree and in my opinion you kind of have to walk on eggshells here as a result. Also, I'm just gonna say it as I've felt it for a long time. I think the hang ups that people like Savin and the Observer have about stuff that some of the community did back in the CoC1 days are very weird and immature. It feels pointlessly spiteful and like tilting at windmills. That's all I'll say, I'm bowing out now.No I started this conversation by challenging an idea a writer had. It was your own hiveminded community that decided it was set in stone for one reason or another and got triggered when someone asked a simple question that really only needed an answer from the writer. "I'll save you, my queen!" you all rushed fervently to shout! Such gallant heroes to defend a fully grown adult over the internet....
Buddy, if Savin's multiple, well-documented denials that any of his characters would have unplanned pregnancy xpacs didn't stop you from asking for it and moving the goalposts, then either you haven't been paying attention or you're coping so hard that your username might as well be "Cope" like that one wrestler. How am I coping?
And this, all of this, is pure, undiluted cope. I mean, my God, are you arguing to get what you want or are you arguing to win the argument at this point?<snippity snip snip>
Maybe it's because I haven't been around as long as you, but I've seen plenty of people criticise the writing team without much pushback. Nay, some of them are flat out applauded if a writer or their work is especially controversial. However, you are right that people here tend to simp for writers to an unreasonable degree and in my opinion you kind of have to walk on eggshells here as a result.
I imagine being exposed to requests for content they didn't like for years on end will do that to a person.I think the hang ups that people like Savin and the Observer have about stuff that some of the community did back in the CoC1 days are very weird and immature. How unusual that fans of the games like the people who make the content for the games, yes very odd indeedHowever, you are right that people here tend to simp for writers to an unreasonable degree and in my opinion you kind of have to walk on eggshells here as a result.
I'm not saying criticism doesn't happen, of course it does, but the simping does too. Look at how some people on here react at the barest hint of criticising certain writers and their work. And I still think the latter is childish regardless.Maybe it's because I haven't been around as long as you, but I've seen plenty of people criticise the writing team without much pushback. Buddy, if you can't see the difference between liking somebody in a reasonable way and simping for them then I don't really know what to tell ya. You're just proving my point. How unusual that fans of the games like the people who make the content for the games, yes very odd indeed

You were politely informed of this the first time you asked. You were the one who decided to ignore thatSee this is the problem with fan-driven communities like these. If you ask a writer or developer a question you get jobless losers such as yourself jumping to vehemently defend someone you have a parasocial relationship with online, and if you don't know that Savin said Skibidi Toilet this date last year at exactly 2pm in the afternoon EST you all have a massive cortisol spike and start shooting steam out of your ears saying "grrrr he's already spoken about this"
Someone explaining the reasoning behind savin's aversion to having pregnancy content isn't "well-documented denials that any of his characters would have unplanned pregnancy xpacs".You were politely informed of this the first time you asked. You were the one who decided to ignore that
How far into the game are you? An undertaking like that would cost well into the millions unless you used AI.Im super new to the community so sorry if this is an common/dumb question/wish but like some kind of voice acting~
few hours, rn trying to see if there are any ways to get ai/tts to read stuff without sounding like 1993 ttsHow far into the game are you? An undertaking like that would cost well into the millions unless you used AI.
Yeah the game is actually quite massive. They've been working on the game for a while. It would need to be some sort of automatic program that reads the text on the screen.few hours, rn trying to see if there are any ways to get ai/tts to read stuff without sounding like 1993 tts
