Savin doesn't like pregnancy content, he's not gonna jump at the chance to collab with somebody to write for a kink he doesn't like.
And if that was the only reason I wouldn't have said anything. He's written other characters with breeding and impregnation, and with that in mind + his explanation it's clearly got nothing to do with a personal preference and simply the fact that it's probably annoying to write.

With that being said though, I'm not really that latched to Anno. She's not even my favorite character; Mitzi is :smuggo:

I wouldn't say it has nothing to with it but it doesn't really matter as its not gonna happen regardless so its a moot point

right, so if you actually use the reading comprehension you were talking about, you may have noticed Couch saying this
For some historical context: Savin's aversion to pregnancy content goes back to CoC1, wherein essentially every character got pregnancy content. This included Helia, and adding pregnancy content to her kind of ruined her existing character by forcing a wild girl, which was her appeal, to take responsibility and settle down. You also couldn't avoid it, since the pregnancy event was triggered by maxing out her friendship with you.
similarly, you yourself have noted
He's written other characters with breeding and impregnation
this would indicate that it is very strongly related to how the character/character arc is intended to be written and experienced. the characters he wrote that have pregnancy have it because it fits their character arc and because Savin is a good enough writer, and developer, that he is willing and capable of writing things that are not within his personal preferences for the user experience.

No I saw that, but didn't acknowledge it as fact because it's just something someone is saying without proof and doesn't make any sense. First off; TiTS characters that Savin has written post Pale Flame update have contained pregnancy content. I think that update was 3 years ago (been a very long times since I played CoC). Second; this is literally only one interaction within one character out of a sea of hundreds and dozens. One thing made him adverse to the primary fetish of every Fenoxo game and almost every human ever? How do you write a smut game if you don't like your characters getting pregnant? Finally; how does giving birth change the personality of the character? It's called character development. Just don't write in your character getting massively changed in a way you don't like and make her retain her personality. If that is actually the reason he gives for why he doesn't like pregnancy content then it sounds more like he's hung up about a mistake HE made and is looking for a place to put blame. "I don't like writing in villains because this one time I wrote a villain that ruined a protagonist I liked" My guy, YOU wrote the character(s) that way.

the characters he wrote that have pregnancy have it because it fits their character arc

Isn't there a dream Steele has about marrying Anno and she says she's up for it given her girlfriend is involved?

because Savin is a good enough writer, and developer, that he is willing and capable of writing things that are not within his personal preferences for the user experience.

Then why not do the same for this character?

I'm less attached to the character getting pregnancy content and more concerned that other characters, or future characters won't get pregnancy content in a smut game because one of the writers isn't willing to do it for one reason or another. If it's really because he wrote himself into a corner then there's nothing else to be said here. I'm not going to convince someone out of their cope.

There's your issue. A member of the writing team his explicitly said it won't happen and you're still trying to wishful think your way around it

Then why not do the same for this character?
Because he's repeatedly said he doesn't want to.

Anyways. Back on topic; more customization options being shown in the dynamic bust image for Steele. Horns, hair, dicks, clothing, weapons etc.

buddy, i gave you an explanation as to why things are the way that they are and your response included "i refuse to acknowledge part of that reasoning". before i even started typing, you were given many other explanations. you started this conversation by trying to turn a hard no into a yes.

Finally; how does giving birth change the personality of the character? It's called character development.
i'll reiterate some of my explanation since your reading comprehension failed you again: it's character development in a direction that Savin does not want. a character getting stabbed could be character development. something horrible can happen to a character's significant other and it'll be character development. don't try and justify character development for the sake of character development.

Isn't there a dream Steele has
you mean a fantasy about something that is unrealistic in context? see also

are you saying that Savin made a mistake, Savin then blames himself for that mistake, and as a result Savin has decided to... not make that mistake again. and that's a bad thing.

Anyways. Back on topic; more customization options being shown in the dynamic bust image for Steele. Horns, hair, dicks, clothing, weapons etc.
this has been brought up many times and unfortunately involves an astronomical amount of work due to how customizable characters are.

Cute strawman. Try reading why that doesn't make sense first before you respond to me. Again, complete lack of any reading comprehension.

before i even started typing, you were given many other explanations. you started this conversation by trying to turn a hard no into a yes.

No I started this conversation by challenging an idea a writer had. It was your own hiveminded community that decided it was set in stone for one reason or another and got triggered when someone asked a simple question that really only needed an answer from the writer. "I'll save you, my queen!" you all rushed fervently to shout! Such gallant heroes to defend a fully grown adult over the internet...

it's character development in a direction that Savin does not want. a character getting stabbed could be character development.

False equivalence fallacy. A stabbing is a straight forward plot device that rarely has any middle ground or room for change. Childbirth, especially within a fantasy setting like CoC, is not. Yes, you could say "I don't like my characters getting stabbed" because obviously that would kill them / wound them in most cases. But how someone reacts to child rearing is up to the writer to mold into something he deems appropriate. Even getting stabbed within the context of these fantasy settings like CoC could be written away using potion or magic logic. I didn't accept the line of reasoning that one thing that happened to one character barred an entire concept because I would expect better from a writer that has been writing non stop for almost the last decade. One would assume that a sex writer could write the logical conclusion to sex without it breaking the characters he forged.

you mean a fantasy about something that is unrealistic in context?

Nothing about any of these games is realistic, even within the contexts of the setting given every scientific hurdle is ignored. It's not even narratively realistic. Why is a mining company on a waste planet? Why is a fox woman having sex with someone she just met? How is everyone producing all this biomass without contracting any kind of cancer?
If you want to ignore all the other pieces of context that don't make sense to do something fun, then I don't see why you can't do the same here. It sounds like an artificial wall you have erected because of something someone has said.

are you saying that Savin made a mistake, Savin then blames himself for that mistake, and as a result Savin has decided to... not make that mistake again.

The mistake was the writing, not the concept. You're struggling really hard to use mental gymnastics in order to not acknowledge that someone made a writing mistake. He's not blaming himself, he's blaming a concept and has thus barred the concept in future characters as a knee-jerk reaction. None of this even matters at this point however as Savin has already said he won't do it even with any help. Which I would have been willing to do, BTW. I've written a bit of smut in my own time https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14317670/1/Soldier. Writing used to be my passion when I was growing up, but adulthood is realizing that writing doesn't pay as much as your English teacher from high school would make you believe.

this has been brought up many times and unfortunately involves an astronomical amount of work due to how customizable characters are.

Just use generic objects instead of being specific. Make short, medium and long hair all have the same preset for each length. Make every beard at any length look the same. Make jackets, suits, shirts and underwear all look the same for each archetype of clothing. Make horns all look the same. Basically, just use the preset icons used in the game menu and make that a template for the bust image. It would be better than what we have and from what I've seen in my previous runs + the one I'm on right now, it doesn't seem like it would take a whole lot of work.

At least on my end I was just pointing out that Savin hates pregnancy content and so wouldn't wanna write it even if you offered help. Now, I personally love pregnancy and shortstacks so he and I are definitely on different wavelengths to begin with. He's entitled to that of course. However, you are right that people here tend to simp for writers to an unreasonable degree and in my opinion you kind of have to walk on eggshells here as a result. Also, I'm just gonna say it as I've felt it for a long time. I think the hang ups that people like Savin and the Observer have about stuff that some of the community did back in the CoC1 days are very weird and immature. It feels pointlessly spiteful and like tilting at windmills. That's all I'll say, I'm bowing out now.

Buddy, if Savin's multiple, well-documented denials that any of his characters would have unplanned pregnancy xpacs didn't stop you from asking for it and moving the goalposts, then either you haven't been paying attention or you're coping so hard that your username might as well be "Cope" like that one wrestler.
<snippity snip snip>
And this, all of this, is pure, undiluted cope. I mean, my God, are you arguing to get what you want or are you arguing to win the argument at this point?
However, you are right that people here tend to simp for writers to an unreasonable degree and in my opinion you kind of have to walk on eggshells here as a result.
Maybe it's because I haven't been around as long as you, but I've seen plenty of people criticise the writing team without much pushback. Nay, some of them are flat out applauded if a writer or their work is especially controversial.

I imagine being exposed to requests for content they didn't like for years on end will do that to a person.

How unusual that fans of the games like the people who make the content for the games, yes very odd indeed

I'm not saying criticism doesn't happen, of course it does, but the simping does too. Look at how some people on here react at the barest hint of criticising certain writers and their work. And I still think the latter is childish regardless.

Buddy, if you can't see the difference between liking somebody in a reasonable way and simping for them then I don't really know what to tell ya. You're just proving my point.

Right because I must investigate everything someone has posted on the internet before I ask them a question. You kids really do simp for these writers lol. Can you even source these claims?

And this, all of this, is pure, undiluted cope. I mean, my God, are you arguing to get what you want or are you arguing to win the argument at this point?

Are you going to actually back up the statement you said or just reiterate yourself? What part of what I said was me coping and about what?

See this is the problem with fan-driven communities like these. If you ask a writer or developer a question you get jobless losers such as yourself jumping to vehemently defend someone you have a parasocial relationship with online, and if you don't know that Savin said Skibidi Toilet this date last year at exactly 2pm in the afternoon EST you all have a massive cortisol spike and start shooting steam out of your ears saying "grrrr he's already spoken about this"

Someone explaining the reasoning behind savin's aversion to having pregnancy content isn't "well-documented denials that any of his characters would have unplanned pregnancy xpacs".

You would think a community built around reading would have better reading comprehension.

Yeah the game is actually quite massive. They've been working on the game for a while. It would need to be some sort of automatic program that reads the text on the screen.

I'm probably the only person in the room who'd even want this, but a way to de-bimbofy your steele. I only want to look like a new texan with the treatment, not be as brainless as one of them.

You can with the Doll Maker, but it only works for Ditz Speech. You can also just put pc.removePerk("Ditz Speech") (or "Brute Speech" for bulls) into the console, if you're fine with using the console.

Honestly? I've seen plenty of simping for characters, but aside from dedicated appreciation threads I haven't seen anything like what you're talking about. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, or my brain has been so worn-down by years of exposure to online drama that I just don't retain the long-term memory of it.

But if I had a Euro for every time someone has said how much they hate the kitsune for being too Japanese or too alienating to us bake gaijins for being outsiders, or Kiyoko specifically for being written for men with dicks first and foremost? I'd have at least a hundred by now. And don't get me started on Brienne.
And I still think the latter is childish regardless.
I dunno, man. Calling it "childish" sounds rather condescending. I'd call it a human reaction, which is neither simping nor disparaging and simply acknowledges that it's a strong emotional reaction anyone could have after enough needling.

I'm storing this away for the next time you complain about someone not taking you seriously or being uncouth, because it's such a perfect encapsulation of everything you've brought to the thread: rudeness, entitlement, ad hominem insults and massive assumptions about the other people on the thread.

If your remarks weren't so broad and innaccurate, I might even be offended somehow but, no.
