Anyway, first I have to finish a project for a friend, perhaps then I'll make a poll and write something based on the results.
Suggestion: don't make a poll, just write what you want to write. There's a huge number of different things people here like and want to see in the game, so a poll might not even be that helpful. If you think the game needs something, write that - I wrote the gym because I missed having one like in CoC. I do think your Uveto ideas sound cool, though.

So... Wanna spill the beans in what location it takes place?
Nope.

I think I'm gonna write about the advanced alien civilization that lives under the icy layer that covers the ocean. I have a prototype concept.

Background: They are highly advanced, way more than your average space-age civilization, however, they are not interesting in leaving their planet, so they've never developed spacefaring tech.
They live in massive, mobile, submarine cities. Being on the move and their advanced stealth tech means they remain undetected. They are slightly xenophobic. Because of their advanced technology and psionics, they see other species as less evolved and primitive. So, they've decided to capture a few live specimens to know more about the strangers that just arrived to their planet.

This is a random encounter, you see some strange lights under the ice and you can decide to investigate.

if you do, you black out and wake up naked and restrained to an examination table. A group of scientists will perform some scans and then leave while their machines finish with the examination.

A few moments later, a cute, young couple of inexperienced lovers enters the room looking for some intimacy, they don't notice you at first and they proceed to have some hot psionic sex, until you interrupt them. Turns out their species no longer practices physical sex, although that's part of their culture, they are perfectly capable of fucking in the traditional sense, so, time for a little cultural exchange, they teach you their way of having sex and you teach them yours. At first they're a bit reluctant and embarrassed, having sex like the primitives, it's a taboo in their society, but they end up falling for the old Steele charm.

Your PC will wake up several hours later and will remember nothing, at least on the conscious level. You'll be able to return, albeit this time it's the young couple the ones who capture you, they want to know more about your primitive ways. In subsequent visits you can teach them several different ways of having sex and in the end you might get an unexpected reward.

The entire concept of that race somehow not being detected by the galactic community feels really fucking contrived.

A more technologically advanced one than the UGC to boot too. and not to mention one on a planet that was mined for savicite for the last 200-300 years by a nanotech level society.

It's not that crazy when you consider a bunch of pirates built a base in the middle of a restricted planet, during a world war, with a Terran-Ausar navy fleet in orbit tasked with keeping an eye on the planet and nobody noticed.

I also provided an explanation about why they remain undetected, they live in mobile stealth submarines near the bottom of the ocean and they have mindwiping technology.

To be fair, we barely know what's in our oceans, and Earth's oceans aren't under miles of ice. I mean really who would expect that they'd need special sensors to detect near-invisible structures at the bottom of the ocean? Anyone exploring would be on the lookout for unknown species, which are a hell of a lot easier to find than stealthed submarines. I assume the subs move away from any surface world probes sent under the ice right?

We barely know shit about our oceans because our tech is dogshit and stealthed submarines might be hard to find, but they aren't CITY sized nor do they have to hide from a civilization that has been a spacefaring one for eons.

Also i can't imagine why this race, even if you were willing to accept that they are capable of hiding, would (still) abduct random UGC people to study them by the time Captain Steele shows up. Showing up to your planet and building a settlement is already a big sign that the UGC is stupidly advanced, much less doing the same and slapping a fucking space elevator on the planet.

Well, that on Myrellion is barely a fleet mainly just bit of a presence to keep the myr from escalating anything and endangering UGC interests and citizens probably not even looking for Black Void presence.

and even if that weren't contrived, you would still be having to fill out an probably explorable zone, encounters, interactable objects and NPCs and the whole species by yourself. that's hellova lot to do for a first project.

Plus the Black Void is a massive pirate organization with resources out the ass. Hardly unreasonable to assume that they paid off the fleet to ignore them if it was a necessary step to putting the base on Myrellion.

The same way a bunch of miners are not looking for stealth submarines at the bottom of the ocean, but if that bothers so many people, lets say they're out of phase or in another dimension and if that still bother people, it can always be rewritten to an standard UFO abduction or hell, lets say it's just a wormhole teleporter and that the aliens are in another galaxy and instead of flying to a planet and explore it directly, they just abduct the locals.

I'm not planing on making an entire city or npcs, it's supposed to be a random sex encounter, kinda like the dryad or the pitcher plant.

That all sounds like it's still a whole lot of effort to justify the idea. If you want another random sex encounter, just make them some sort of native tribal species with the same shtick and have the couple be a pair that are on a hunting trip or something and end up getting corrupted by the Steele charm over a campfire or something when Steele runs into them and asks them all sorts of questions and pushes the idea after their codex tells them about the species' restrictions against physical intimacy.

I dont think dimensional stuff is allowed, and instant teleportation is probably not feasible for the universe at least as far as I know.

Also the UGC is the most advanced civilization in the universe, with tech that is extremely advanced due to the culmination of many species pitting their minds together. A singular race that is more advanced then the UGC and avoids detection completely for an untold amount of time, is simply weird to comprehend.

Thats not the crux of this though. The idea you have here is way too big. You might say that its only a sex encounter and that its like the dryad, but why then do you have all this background stuff when you are not going to do it. This idea isnt remotely close to dryad in all honesty. If you just wanted a random encounter it should remain as that, and it shouldnt have a whole lore thing to back it up. Not everything needs to be completely explained.

In my opinion this whole idea of yours sounds like a silly mode encounter, because it just sounds a bit far fetched and, well, silly.

Listen dude, dont think big. Think small, and start small. Dont crank shit up to 11 right off the bat.

I just it's not on Mhen'ga. That place has enough of those.
You know what? It was, then I started thinking on if it had to be, and I came up with something that's not only better but easier to write and gives me a chance to add gabilani panties as a loot item. So thanks. :D

Seconded. There's a reason I suggested this too. Things tend to get bigger and more complex as you write them, so start with something simple. Especially if it's your first project.

While I agree with your other stuff, I do want to point out that instant teleportation is a thing ever since the Ausur invented Warp Gates. It's just you need to build both ends of the teleporter for them to work, which would be difficult to do from a galaxy away.

The warp gates create worm holes, which only bend space-time. That significantly lowers the amount of time needed to traverse the massive distanced covered by the rushes, but it isn't instant by any means.

Not to mention that you have to travel to the gates and get a gate at each destination.

Others did explain what I meant, but Id like to clarify myself.

The Warp Gates allow you to go from System to System quickly, but not instantaneously. What I meant by saying instant teleportation not being feasible, was that teleporting to System A to System Z wouldn't be instant. Like one second passes between the jump.

https://wiki.smutosaur.us/TiTS/Warp_tunnel

I read this from the tech part of the wiki before i made my original post, just make sure I wasn't assuming anything.

(Edit) Said galaxy to galaxy, when I shouldve said system to system.
Now Im the one thinking too big :p

Erm... I think you meant to say system to system, Galaxy to Galaxy is a bit extreme, you'd have to find an actual wormhole or use some sort of hyperspace tech (Stargate SG1 Hyperdrive which takes weeks to a few months to travel the distance) or with star trekish warp drives would take decades or even hundreds of years if not thousands of years to travel between galaxies. The current system where warp gates are sent to a system already takes decades to hundreds of years by slow boating the thing unmanned.

Thanks for the correction. Knew I said something wrong. Gonna edit it to make sure my post makes sense.

Thanks again.

since it has been brought up..,(ive been away, and catching up reading)
and i can't do much but ask.., and don't know where to ask,(or find the answer myself)
1. Have Warp gates been known to fail..,(i have been writing down ideas, ~that i believe will stay that way, but may be something at sometime, from me or someone else~)
i ask that cause, if it seems plausible i may use that as part of a scene that leads to somewhere.
2. How does Time work in TiTS.., as far as i know, and assume, its travel is left out..,
i ask cause it would apply to an idea for an NPC's background, but not their origin(they are "not" a time traveler). though from what i read about dimensional travel, it may be in the same bin.

also back on topic..,
a few items..,
a consumable that either increases, or multiplies(by a small number) the PC # of offspring in the pc "next"(and only next) Pregnancy, or how many offspring the NPC has that is impregnated by the PC. (example be, PC takes the consumable, increasing the amount of offspring they will give birth to by a set #, or multiplying by 1.5-2, or if PC impregnates an NPC, NPC is affected in the same manner as if the PC would be impregnated.) Though i feel as if the NPC part would be unlikely, and may be split into 2 items.

(i backed out of suggesting the next one, cause there are many reducing items, afaik. it would have been a simple item that reduces most of the PC features, be it height, chest, genital size maybe. but as for muscle and bone, instead of reducing, or expelling, if would compact muscle, making it more tighter, and thinner reducing its appearance~idea being hidden strength in a body that doesnt give much confidence, or akin to someone who didn't have to do much in life~, and bone gets denser, and reduces the thickness of it~the thickness in CCreator~. Seeing as there are many things that increase or reduce, its unlikely, unless it was a TF that was appealing for a reason.)

1. Yes, warp gates do fail, but it leads to the horrible death of anyone inside instead of them popping out somewhere unintended.

2. Time and dimensional travel are not possible in the TiTS universe.

I've decided to start slow, mainly because I still have a project to finish for a friend. So for the moment, this afternoon, I've made 15 or so weapons, just to explore new concepts. I've been testing them in-game and they work ok, couldn't find any errors or loading problems.

As a sneak peek, I'll name a few, a wrist mounted plasma flamethrower, a grenade launcher, a dildozooka, a psionic staff (so you can serve the emperor of mankind like a proper Librarian), a corrosive acid rifle and a bioweapon which has a small maximum HP penalty, but can steal your target's HP and heal you. The last one gave me a problem, at first I thought it was because of the negative HP value, but nope, just screwed the code somewhere else.

I'm planning on making a few drones too, but I have to figure out the code for the combat damage, I can't seem to find out the base damage and I don't want to make them OP.
