Ship stuff is still actively being worked on and there's been a lot of progress. I don't know why so many people trust the word of random shitty forum posters.

I'd post up content I'd like added but I've already posted it several times, and I'll still post them.
More taur exclusives that bipeds can't access to give taur players something to keep wanting to be taurs and not just burn all their credits on human treats just to get with someone.
A better inventory system where you can have more than one assessory because dropping a whole drone because you want to wear a scarf or something is pretty stupid.
More female and male only characters, people that are soley just male or female. Not only just that but more characters that make you kinda work up to having sex with them than just stripping their clothes off and begging to be fucked there and then on the spot.
A medical drone that can be upgraded to cure you of stds and heal you both in and outside of combat, if not that someone who sells stim injectors so you have something that can heal you in combat and out of it.
A bad end for taking the treatment twice instead of just being told." You recall all the time during the treatment before you became the."Insert what you are here."
Reaha content after getting her off the lust patches and making her an even better crewmate than just a cow girl ready to be fucked and a bust that isnt just her buck naked.
An upgrade to Shekka that allows her to buy any thing you have on you so you don't have to get Anno so you can offload stuff.
The possible ability to have a crewmate come with you off the ship and explore with you and fight along side you in combat, or have them be like Dane and be a bodyguard, it could help some characters who are weaker later down the line and there is already Ramis who could be the person who could do it.
Do something with Kase, he's pretty much just there and the only character he interacts with is Anno, would be nice to have something that Involves him or even other crewmates once In a while.
Maybe a couple more enemies like the black void that won't lust attack you and in turn won't be aroused by Steele in turn and put up a good fight, like the wexrtral hounds.
Another maybe is less characters who aren't just bimbos who can't think anything more than."How can I look sexy." And ."What's the best sex position." I'm not asking for a normal new Texas just less bimbos in the galaxy.
The ability to debimbo certain people like Mitizi, because I know I'm not the only person who kinda hates bimbos, and I feel like it could be done because you can give Penny Iq begone, and we have focus pills along with chill pills.
Anyone remember Celise? how come the very first crewmate doesn't get anything New?

what about a system that allows steele to show their kids to their crew and/or to shade and astra

Steele intercepts a package full of bootleg TFs (with option to try one) and treks across worlds to find the manufacturer.
I'm thinking rewards might include an exclusive TF you can't get anywhere else or undergoing a one-of-a-kind TF (or putting a crew member through the process instead... with their creator's permission).

The problem with this is that these TFs - and their effects - would need to be written. As an informal rule, transformatives are not made to be limited in quantity. GaloMax is the exception, not the rule.
Of course, you're welcome to write/commission such things, if this is your prerogative.
Zevos has a good point about the TF itself, but I like the idea of a side quest dealing with illegal/back-alley TFs. If you made the TF one that Steele couldn't use - maybe it absolutely would not work on anyone of human descent, and since Steele always starts at least half-human, that's a no - then you could avoid those issues. It could be a good treasure hunt-type quest, with Steele heading to different planets looking for clues and trying to track down who's behind all this, and at the end, Steele could decide what to do about it.
It'd be a huge-ass project, but it could be cool.
The lazy way would be to copy existing TFs verbatim, but add a Taint effect.
You could also change probabilities. For example, a Bovinium knockoff that is more likely to cause the quad nipples and cow legs (both a 1/20 chance).
Or mix transformatives. Imagine a Foxfire like mod that causes random canid TFs every few hours (Foxfire, Canine/Pupper Poppers, maybe Lupinol) and of course it doesn't come with a complimentary Immuno-Booster.
It might be a way to get more expensive TFs (Dove Balm/Pussyblossom/others) 'cheaply' but with other drawbacks.
Now that I think on it, the knockoff Pussyblossom could give extra vaginas, but with randomized properties: Race/Bonus Capacity/Wetness/Clits.
For all the character customizations with transformations and hair stylings and the like, I noticed there's a shortage of clothing choices. For example, if you want just a normal none fetish upper undergarment choice for male, from what I can tell you basically have the choice between one of two New Texas t-shirts or the plain starting one. This can make it hard to put together a halfway immersive outfit if you care about not running around in something nonsensical like a naleenscale armor, a cheesy t shirt and some swim trunks.
On the simplest level, introducing more options all around (and perhaps a simple dye system) could alleviate this. However it could also be expanded upon further into a gameplay element by introducing some sort of style system. This could go as far as making npcs more receptive/attracted to you depending on how you are dressed instead of everyone wanting to hump you on sight. Or simply offer better rewards for completing tasks.

Fuck no. You can add stuff with similar effects, but you actually need to write content. There are standards around here for content, and blatant plagiarism is an instant disqualifier.
There is apparently a male upper-garment submission in development-hell. If you're willing to code it, (and ask Fen nicely), you could probably get permission to implement it yourself. Items in general are relatively simple to write... simpler surely than the scenes necessary to put them in Aliss or Busky's shops.
I guess I was approaching the idea from a more typical game dev standpoint where lots of stuff gets re-used and nobody gets credit for a specific bit of text, instead of a partially crowd-sourced standpoint.
With the description of Illegal/backalley TFs, my mind went to knockoffs/bootleg TFs, which would essentially be plagiarized in-universe. The question then becomes 'Why' these TFs are illegal. High/any Taint? Another Megacorp patented first? Military-grade being sold to civilians? Lobbying by special interest groups? Especially since things like Cock Vines are specifically called out as quarantined, yet Steele can walk around with one, and no one says anything. The game mostly takes place in places where law enforcement is fairly scarce, so it would have to be pretty bad. Dr. Badger sells Dumbfuck, Gush, and Tentacool, all of which are illegal.

It could be a weapon you get from Kattom for doing something for him like some quest where a pirate has kidnapped one of his wives and he wants to get her back at the end of the quest he can give you a large stack of credits or he offers you the Arc Rifle that hits groups of enemies and even stuns some In shots.
Or if not the quest there could be something where you give him like 5 of each different gem you can find on Zheng Shi and he gives you the rifle.
If not that then just have Like Emmy sell it for a high price.

I'm convinced someone made a codex for space bears...I think it was Damiekinz, but I could be wrong there. What I'm saying is, the material exists. And if I'm not completely mistaken, a TF is also in the works already (though I think it was a generic bear TF)
Oh I know they exist, I brought it up in the discord and someone mentioned that they actually exist and they are like a silly mode encounter when you meet them.
I think they told me of their plans on it but since I've been gone from there for so long I don't really remember what they said nor could I look it up.

This came up in Adj's stream, but imagine Steele finding an abandoned ship and after a short quest, they claim it. Taking it to Tavros, they have the ship repaired and refitted and during the repair an engineer gets stuck in a vent or something similar. Steele comes across them and they can either choose to help the engineer or have a little fun.
