waits whats the difference?
A trap/femboy is a guy that looks feminine and can pass for a girl in a lot of instances aka: Berwyn, Quin, Nikol, Nakano and so on.

An ambush is a more swole/muscular guy that still sways towards the androgynous aide of things -- the closest one in game being bust Elyon and Rooh.

For more out of game examples are Beelzebub from Grand Blue fantasy, Zato and Axl from Guilty Gear and Diavolo from Jojo. It all mostly comes down to a cute face and hair free skin.

Tl;dr: Ambush is just a muscular femboy

....that's just a twink, isn't it?.... Another reason to avoid using terms instead of just descriptions is that so many people disagree on what they mean, or don't know what they refer to, like here, whereas "muscular, hairless dude" is specific. I'd also like to ask that people reconsider using "trap" and "ambush" as they're reflective of the way trans people are seen as tricking people (and sometimes get killed for it). Thanks for listening.

Ostensibly, yes.

To me, difference between guys like Berwyn and Quin are so miniscule that I do just result to calling them twinks. But at same time, terms of like femboy are used and are widespread enough that some people will see it as a different body type.

It is easier to use shorthands to express what I want. Sure, I can say a "more feminine Twink" instead of a femboy, but not only is it shorter to say femboy, you immediately get at what I am getting at. Ambush to me is the same. I could say "feminine hunks", but Ambush has a more firmer picture attached to it's nebules form.

Regardless, I will try to reduce the usage of traps and such. Although, I am not sure if I ever heard if a trans person being called an "ambush". It is a newer term that still hasn't really catched on.

Nah. Femboya can also top you. It only has to do with looks. Basically, ambush is just a cute face on hunkish/muscular body type.

If a trap is a guy who looks like a lass, it stands to reason that the opposite would be a male-looking female, not a muscular femboy or a "twunk". Oh, wait... Wasn't that a tomboy? A butch? o_O
Tags should be only for clothing and sales, I swear...

You would think that a female counterpart to a femboy would be a tomboy, yes; most of the time, they are not.

A lot of mainstream femboys do tend to push into the "draw a girl, call it a boy" territory. They do not really act or show any of the traits associated with being a dude that often. Of course, this is because our sample size is small, and what is and isn't a femboy is in the eyes of beholder, but I tend to lean on towards ones that still look/act like guys while still embracing their feminine side. Nikol is good on that end, even with his admittedly silly waist line

As for tomboys, the ones these days do tend to emphasizes their feminine side while treating the more manly characteristics as just funny/arousing/quaint traits. Like them hugging their male friend like a bro would while their boobs push into their shoulder. Or if they are feeling lazy, just giving them short hair and having them play sports is enough for the writer/artist and their audience to call them a tomboy.

Most damningly though, tomboys do still tend to look more girly on average. Rarely do we get really macho looking/acting girls like Rika from pokemon and Lady Uranus from Sailor moon which is a damn shame. Almost like people are afraid to push the boyish traits out of fear it feeling gay.

I know that this is getting kind or ramble, but what I am trying to get at is that most of the time, when it comes mainstream femboys and tomboys, it is their feminity that is being emphasized while their manly traits take a back seat. Their manliness is what emphasizes their feminine traits, rarely other way around. Femininity is the one thing being fetishized here. So in execution, their appeal are on the same side of the coin.

Once again, that is a shame.

I just thought of something a little less complicated if it would fit her character. It'd be easier to ask Brienne to take some brown leaf if she's okay with that
What's next my friend? Are we asking fire to stop burning? Water to dry itself? Just kidding, that may not be something too unreasonable to ask her stance on.

Brother I agree with you on Berwyn and Nikol. But Quin and Nakano? Passing as girls??

I think it would be nice if NPCs and especially companions would react more often to your choices, and/or, if that’s easier to implement, to your level of corruption. I do not or not only mean different variants of encounters and conversations that are triggered by what choice you made at a specific point or your level of corruption, but small scenes/encounters that only revolve around how the PC is judged by other characters. That would give more consistent weight to the type of personality we envision for our PCs and would make the world more believable.

In the same way, I would love to see more of what the PC thinks and feels about her/his/their actions. I know this is supposed to be left to the player, and overall that’s a good approach, but there is a bunch of decisions and actions the PC can take that are clearly morally good (e.g. saving Eryka, building up Etheryns confidence, freeing Hirrud’s slaves etc.) or evil/corrupt (e.g. willingly submitting to any demonic or corrupt enemies, playing into Etheryns insecurities, knowingly not preventing Viviane from consuming the succubus cum etc.). For these kinds of deeds, I think, it would be fitting to have short scenes that show how the PC feels and sees him-/her-/themselves after committing these acts.

Think there should be a feminization process for some of the muscular chars in the game, like the khor minos king. Going from buff, to trap to female. Would make a nice corruption route.

If I had my tablet with me, I would draw them in a dress to prove myself right.

But from my perspective, they are anime-twink-coded and a lot of those types of characters do tend to look adorable in a dress -- cloud from Final Fantasy, Goto from Firefly wedding, half of the LI in Otomes, Asuka from guilty gear (big fan if you can't tell), and so on and so on.
They are all feminine by my standards. But as I said above, my standards do make me compartmentalize twinks and what people call femboys under one umbrella. Take Nikol and Rooh for example. Sure, the former is more feminine, but not by much in my eyes. They both wear skirts, they both look less macho compared to rest of their ilk, and they both look boyish. Nikol just pretties himself up more with makeup. Hell, if you increase the size of his waist just by a small degree or reduce the size of his rump, especially when considering his naked bust, he would really be my type.

So yes, femboys are just anime twinks in drag.

I see, friend. In my opinion they are quite different, one being clearly a girl despite actually a boy, while the other is just a less masculine than usual boy. The way I see it, if we're speaking in anime characters Nikol is Felix from rezero and Rooh even in a dress would be at most Bon Clay from one piece.

Bon clay aint a twink though -- I think they are non-binary also but Japan. And they are also ugly.
Well, neither is Rooh. He is more of a twunk with a feminine face so an Ambush/feminine hunk/Musclular femboy.

Put him in a female gard though and he could incentivize as many costumers as Nikol, tbh. Hell, in my eyes Rooh is more fertile because of a bigger chest, so in some ways even more feminine.

Still, I understand everyone has a breaking point on what is and it isn't feminine or muscleline. Mine is just larger.

SIR(or ma'am), i know that manga artist but, WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THOSE HOLY PIECES OF ART??
https://x.com/Yatomomin/status/1850167031011922396
They made so much fine hunk on girl erotica.

There is also some drama in their comments for some reason.

As for where do I get art? Honestly, while ambush as a term aint getting that popular, the concept of a buff guy with a cute face is getting more and more wide spread. There are pleanty of artists that I follow that are dedicated to only drawing it or it is their major output. And then those get followed by others on twitter, or their pixiv accounts get recomended to me.
