Sure, italics could have been used to indicate exasperation, but considering the vast history of their use for emphasis, it feels like far less of a stretch to just say that the use there was for emphasis. And even if it was exasperation, going off on a 3-paragraph long rant about it is a massive overreaction.

General advice on how to conduct one's self aside, I'm fairly certain I remember Fen themselves saying its largely a handwave because the amount of work that would have to go into the implementation of a vagina is astronomical.

Apologies for that. Since I was deciding to check the flaws of others earlier, I'll be fair and share one of my own. I have a small array of cognitive disorders due circumstances I will not be discussing since I am a paranoid shit and am fairly certain it would make me too easy to make out on other sites. The worst of such is with name association though, so some days remembering who is called what becomes a fairly interesting endeavor.

I was meaning to talk about Savin, not Fen in this situation, but my brain basically fumbled the ball and slotted in what it could instead, the first and foremost association for 'project lead' when it comes to these games. , I'm typically vigilant enough with double checking to make sure I'm not calling people the wrong things, one of the blessings of speaking through delayed test, but I was annoyed, and in annoyance we tend to make slip ups in our conduct, as I mentioned earlier.

Post Right of Conquest you can visit Hretha and have her bless you to be in heat and rut (well, heat until something knocks you up at least), this will last for a week and it doesn't take long to get back to her either when it runs out.

A Tainted Clover (Feracity, but not sure those can be refined, I think so) from Nash in the Outskirts of Khor'minos can give you the Corrupted Breeder and/or Corrupted Stud perks, perk, which I think will put you in heat or rut on a regular basis, as if you had been a Catfolk or Orc respectively (which is another option, just be one of those races). Both of those will be more frequent than the natural racials, but there's still a gap, so Hretha is still the best choice. Note that I could be wrong and confusing it with Corrupted Alpha/Corrupted Matriarch/Corrupted Alpha Matriarch perks for the source of the Rut, but aside from save editor I have no idea how to get those perks I'm afraid.

As a backup, if you are romancing Kas and then dance with her (the strange Elf) during the Midwinter Festivus Ball you will get x2 Red Cow Wines afterwards, which will put you in Heat + Rut when imbibed, which lets you have a backup if you run out of either the Racial or Hretha's blessing at a point you really want it to go off anyway.

I appreciate the help but unfortunately, those are still temporary solutions since they're all on a 1 week rut/heat. I knew about Hretha and I've visited that sexy orcess a lot for work reasons. Though I didn't know about Orc/Cat natural rut/heat, it's still temporary alas.

As far as I can see Corrupted Breeder/Stud don't do any naturally occurring rut/heat and I can't see the Alpha/Matriarch perks on the wiki and since I'm playing on Steam, there may not even be a way to get them for me just yet.

Still, I thank you once again for the tips, I suppose I'll just have to keep visiting Hretha, I'm sure she won't mind anyway.

You can still use Save Editor with the Steam version, just go to the Data page and then pick the [To File] option to the right rather than regular saving, at which point you can load your save into the Save Editor, note that the "corrupted save" or "cheater" (depends on Silly Mode or not) type errors will show up regardless just to let you know it's unsupported by devs so don't go cry foul if you break something. If you go for Effect then Perk tabs you can then add the perks I mentioned to your character, they are Male, Female and Herm versions (Alpha Matriarch), and don't stack, so just add one of them. If you don't want to cheat, I think they can be be attained by one of the corrupted consumables sold by Nash, but I don't know which one, and it may require a lot of the expensive components to pull it off, so save before buying a stack. As with Orc and Catfolk racials however it's on a schedule, only being in Rut and/or Heat for specific days of the month, but much more frequent than Orc or Catgirl would be.

A permanent version of Rut I don't think will ever be implemented given it's a buff, and permanent Heat is impossible anyway given it goes away as soon as you get knocked up. Though maybe some "Breeder" personality could be attained somehow requiring you to have X feracity/fertility/virility to get that just affects the dialogue options where it looks for heat/rut and sets it to always on, sort of like Honey Brain status effect/"buff" becoming the Bimbo perk. Beyond that all Rut or Heat does is just add a +50 % modifier to those stats after all, which can already be increased permanently to stupid levels with the help of Evergreen.

As as second way by the way other than Hretha to go get Rut and Heat you could go to Meira the Tanuki Witch at Evergreen's place after getting Evergreeen back her bag, if you ask her to increase Feracity she'll increase it by one point until it gets to 10, at which point she'll instead put you in Rut and Heat (and I think refill milk and cum reserves).

That said, I feel that whole thing is sort of niche for many, especially considering how little comparatively mundane fisting content is in the game currently. Something like tentacle fun would be a lot more popular given the right monster, but that's specifically pointed out as not being something a lot of writers are interested in as remarked by a certain muscled valkyrie in-game if you have Silly Mode active.
