Like, you're asking for something that just isn't feasible. I mean the ghost cock was written specifically so that female only players could access all the same sex scenes as dick having players without actually having one, but apparently that's not good enough unless the scene is "tailor made" for dickless players. It's not like pussy having players don't have a ton of scenes that are just for them and exclude pussyless PCs but you don't hear me complaining. Why? because those scenes aren't for me. I recognize that and don't think it's really reasonable to ask for an equivalent scene for dicks that excludes the dickless. Not every scene can or should have an equivalent scene for everyone not willing to get the necessary parts for it. If you want to see more sex scenes specifically for those without dicks you ought to write or commission them yourself instead of complaining at the writers.

Well, the thing is, there are waaay more things locked behind a cock than a vagina. Like many npcs won't have sex with you w/o dick. There are only two npcs I can think of who'll do that but with vagina (Garrett and Hashat (but she'll fuck you regardless if you're an elf)). I do understand that since this game is more for guys (common in porn industries) so there's more audience for that. I don't expect there to be equivalents scenes for vag-only pcs for every dicked scene. But for many relationship progression/emotional development scenes to be locked behind a dick is ridiculous.

For example, you can't talk to Liv about meeting her parents and marrying her w/o impregnating her. Obviously, you need a dick to impregnate her but she won't marry you or see you as someone special (someone she can introduce to her parents) w/o a dick? So it just seems silly that a major npcs like Cait has no relationship development w champ unless u have a dick (like Cait's anal virginity scene/Cait talking about pregnancy). The last time the vag-only champ can progress w/ Cait's relationship is when PC finds her dad.

Just like how some ppl don't want to play vag-only champs or champs w/ vagina, some ppl don't want to grow a dick. So it would be nice to have a romantic scene w/ Cait w/o dick (I know this ain't no dating sim but y'all added lores and the serious story behind it so I can't see it as just porn game anymore dammit!) But as you said, I guess Cait was made for dicked pcs so its audience wasn't ppl like me who plays vag-only champs.

I totally get where you're coming from and I agree that not ever scene can/should have an equivalent scene but in this particular case Cait is kind of the first companion you can get and I personally have always seen her as quite integral to the story and your initial motivations regarding Kas etc.
So it is a bit odd that non-dick champs relationship progression with Cait hits a wall after finding her Dad and its a bit different as she's a consistent companion rather than a 'one-off' NPC.

I never got the impression that Cait would refuse to get romantically/emotionally involved with someone just because they don't have a dick so it doesn't feel like its a lore/character reason for why non-dick champs can't be "y'know, somebody special." to Cait or to even talk about it or kids.

So I think wanting to have a way for non-dick wielding PC's to progress the relationship that isn't the ghostlight (even if it was just relatively minor additions to the existing scene around you using a strap) is a pretty reasonable thing to want in a "what content would you like added" in my opinion as it otherwise completely locks you out of even finding out about something that's clearly quite important to Cait.

It doesn't have to be a priority but I feel its quite a reasonable ask for at some point in the future, particularly as Cait is a companion.

id like the option to choose to automatically feed lyric, with how easy it is to earn coins it just feels bad to not be able to do something like give them one something like every encounter, like a controlled version of the coin drain you get with them at first. not a big deal but itd just be nice to not have to interact with them in the backpack to do that but to also feel like youre not just starving one of your partners etc. feels like a lesser version of having a starving bf/gf, getting burgers every fight and not just automatically handing them one

Speaking of which, this has also been the intention from the start. Valkyrie soulbinding will make you feminine regardless of whatever you were before but it doesn't affect your genitals. Astrida is the one that may lock you into being a dickgirl since that's how they all are, but the last we've heard is that Savin's leaning away from enforcing that for the player.

Ummmm, I wouldn't get my hopes up for that. The Champ's appearance is thoroughly parserized so that all the massive changes of TFing can be accounted for without writers having to craft every single variant by themselves. Companions have much more limited appearance-based parsers so soulbinding would require every single scene they're in to be rewritten to account for the transformation, by hand.

LeoCait changes a few things that were specifically programmed for her, in advance. There are reasons that the devs have said repeatedly that companion TFing is going to be limited to a small number of predetermined variables that can easily be accounted for.

I don't think you're getting the point. It may seem like a simple change but under the hood it'd be a lot to rework either existing scenes to mention cait's soulbindness or add new ones. Both of which would also affect other writers writing content that includes cait.

I don't think any current soulbind would change Cait in such a small way that it would actually be barely any work. At least, none of the soulbinds we currently see in-game. Unless you're thinking of whatever that merc leader has, which I think can only be done to someone before they're born, because that doesn't seem to have a cosmetic change associated. But amongst the three options the Champ will have, you're either severely under-estimating the difference between a fox and a cat, or you mean the valkyrie option (which, given Cait's appearance, might give pretty much no change to her besides bolting wings onto her back), because I'm, certain you don't think turning her into a lizard is a small change.

Aside from all this, I doubt any companion can get a soulbind, even if we could wave a wand and say all the work has been done to make scenes. In-story, I mean. The gods really want your soul for the same reasons as Kas: your soul is a really juicy one. Massive amounts of power, and tons of potential. Because of it, the Champ is extremely malleable, and also, desirable for any soul-suckers.

EDIT: If you want my meta reasoning, it flows from Tobs' choosing to make patsluttery one of the primary kitsune racial TF experiences. One of the more consistent things that I see from kitsune players is that they like pats. Hence: adorable dork. Also hence: more pats, if they are good.

A lot of the kitsune adjacent stuff isn't that appealing to me but I do love the floofyness and the pats. It's a good thing Ryn can't give pats or I would die.
