You don't need to have gender dysphoria to feel some dysphoria about your body. Which was more what I was getting at.
But more importantly and to directly respond, why not?
That's part of why it feels so odd to me because exploring your gender is incredibly common in CoC2, lots of characters do what the player is encouraged to do and try different bits. But if you mean specifically trans characters then I feel like if you find that absurd you musn't play many porn games...like this one one of your companions can be one. Or TiTs or many others not made by this team.

Gender dysphoria, rather than trans. Sure, Brint can become Brienne, and Vitra used to be Steve or something. But people aren't undergoing dysphoria because they can't express their gender, because the writers can wave their hand and go "that's not a thing here". That's why there's nothing said about kitsune miserable because they can't tf, because it doesn't service the narrative or the tone of the game to go into that.
You mentioned TiTS, which incidentally has that issue with the monkey lady on Myrellion. The writer wanted to write a particular kind of arc which didn't fit with the lore of the universe. So they had to invent a race that can't mod for Reasons. They had to invent cultural reasons why this character would be shunned by their family. And the end result was a very self-contained bubble plot that sharply contrasts with the free love people can be whatever gender they want tone of the rest of the game.
I mean, you don't need gender dysphoria to be trans and the monkey race is just resistant to change not immune to it. So, not sure what you mean.

While I would typically just ignore people at this point, I do feel the need to say that I'm not arguing against trans characters (at least two of which already exist in the game so why would I be arguing against that) or saying gender dysphoria is necessary to be trans. No idea where that's coming from.
Other than that, sure. To reach way back to last page, my response to "why are kitsune just stepford wives accepting not being able to change their gender" is "because the writers to this point haven't wanted to go into that"

After all, not everyone is as open minded about changing who or what they are at the drop of a hat. Not to mention the everyday inconveniences that can occur. You ate something that made you grow 30 cm, now none of your clothes fit anymore. The examples could get more intricate and extreme, but then someone goes "I think that's actually hot, I like that". Which makes the whole argument pointless, I think.
Basically, this is the underlying "problem" with this thread and the gripes thred: A lot of feedback from a lot of people with a lot of opinions. At least in CoC2, that's not a thing people have to deal with unless they're a magical fuckup like the PC is. Cait could eat Belharan Stew all day and be fine.
Champs only a mutable blob because they're absolutely bathed in magic so they're basically a sentient clay. Normal people won't TF if they decided to eat say a fox berry without alchemy shit first.
Gender Swapping is still a thing though even for NPCs given what they eat, given that blue and pink potion show up before you ever get to the portal. Plus eggs and bovum sherries messing with Ryn and Cait's forms. So some mutability is obviously present regardless, and so even non-magical fuckups can apparently swap genders if they desired to in this world. Another example being Syrish and Liresh, who not only made one of them a dickgirl, they also altered their general furry level, and retains enough expertise to potentially do the same in reverse to Cait. And that's before you get to Lady Evergreen's fuckery who most likely does not give one lick of a rat's ass how mutable you are.
multiple of the tf item blurbs even say "for most people eating/drinking/etc without using alchemical refinement this is only a snack/an unpleasant means to sate hunger/etc, for you it would likely change some things"

Those are all specially-prepared potions made using alchemy. That's not a fuck up, you have to do that very intentionally.

Sariel the Buttbunny is one of my favorite random encounters overall, I wish once her "quest" is done and she's been freed from the cursed buttplug, she could show up somewhere else, either move to the Mare village (probably extra action in Lusina's tile, with them having befriended each other during their stay in the valley after Lusina proved perfectly happy to give Sariel the occasional rimming and fisting fun times to alleviate her needs), or possibly be invited as a hunter to the Wayfort, where she'll trap small game and similar in the Frostwoods to keep the Wayfort larders stocked and diversified, possibly reducing a bit of the cost to establish food supplies during that part of the renovations if you haven't completed that yet. She'd be gone most of the day presumably doing her hunting (maybe adding a slightly altered variation of her friendly encounter to the Frostwoods), show up in the bedroom tile for fun like Mathia does if you put her in the Wayfort, and maybe be found in the stockades being vigorously buttbred and filled with hornet eggs occasionally.

I would like to preface I don't know how hard or easy it would be to implement copying items and powers, could the Lurling be used as a base or does that work with a bunch of premade companion sets or does it actively copy the companion?
A summon that works one of two ways:
Elden rings mimic tear: Summons a copy of the player that has the same powers other then the encounter slot and ultimate slot, and to make it more in line with current summons set it Hp and or stats on how perfect it is based on presence.
Fnaf worlds mimic ball: Let me quote the wiki on how works in it's game "When Mimic Ball activates, Virtua Freddy appears and uses the attack that was previously used." This would be changed in game to a summon and using the powers itself, it can also be balanced in a few ways, have the power of the mimicked attack scale off of presence and it can't use encounter powers or ultimate's. It would also need to be decided if the mimic would only copy the pc or be closer the to source idea and copy the actions of the whole party, and if it does copy the whole party can it act all three times or does it get limited to once or twice. Depending on how its implemented it could be broken i.e. giving you two rounds of bless by acting last or it could be not effective with those types of powers like in its source game because it will use the power right after the user uses it thus wasting it's action. This summon would have the construct taxonomy to make it immune to tease, mind, psychic, and drug damage.
Both ideas would be great adds to the games power roster and make viable some odd PC builds. But the idea I really wanted to write this spiel about is the bottom idea. It would simply add so many interesting ways the PC could party build, slot in their powers, and how they would build them self's. The summon would also have the common down sides of a summon, it would also gain and lose threat based on which powers it would use such as lay on hands or fading strike and going as far to copy stances making it more or less of a target depending on what moves are used.

The real win here would be getting the option to mash pelvises with it at the summoning circle.
It'd be like that mirror demon in CoC1 without being possibly the most fucked up smut scene in the entire game.
meh this is probably just me... but i would love some more options for getting sex request from companions, now hear me out i know alot already exist after you have sexed them once.
but im dreaming of something for the "shy" ones. I know i know that sounds stupid.
but imagine flirting with cait 3 times and she would be the one to "break the ice"
i know TiTs isn't Coc but i for once love Shekka, because if you talk with her enough she will approach you and ask!
same reason i absolutely love Brienne, cus she too will be the one to ask if you dont but show interest.

As someone who is extremely shy IRL, I find that very appealing. I tend to play 'reserved' PCs (unless they're a bimbo or dark knight) and love the thought of the champion getting sex requests from companions in lieu of us asking. I also like Brienne--she utterly adores the player when you show any sort of sexual attraction towards her. It makes my shy heart flutter!
Cait would be a good candidate, because it's very obvious she's attracted to the player regardless. But she respects our boundaries and keeps it subtle. I think, though, she would eventually ask one way or another--she's definitely an extroverted kitty.

That's basically Liulfr's entire deal. He's been distraught about his body (man with vagina) for years, feeling that he is "incomplete" due to it. His interactions culminate in a choice between becoming more masculine and also getting a dick or abandoning masculinity and getting a fully feminine body.
Ooh I would love this for Cait (or more characters in general)! I adore scenes with assertive/extroverted characters that have the PC being the flustered/blushy puddle rather than the initiator. Anni is amazing for that.
On another note, going to preface this by saying I have no idea how much work it would be buuuuuut:
I'd love for their to be a way to replay one-off scenes or scenes that are no longer available after a character moves location. For example if you move Mara to Marilla's Farm you lose access to her old scenes or as of Dragon Quest if you choose Evelyn's route (<3) you lose access to the Ryn/Cait threesome/foursome - Evelyn's got all that space now & a big bath but can't bring all her attendants ='(
I guess it'd be like the Mindwasah Visor in TiTs with the VR programs but I guess in the form of a dream mirror or something for CoC2?
I know you could just use saves but there's only so many and you'd have to save ahead of time knowing scenes would no longer available.
