Daisy did her best to steady her breathing, calming down quite a bit at the lack of a full moon. The heat building up within her still went unaddressed, which would eventually become a problem, though that could be dealt with after meeting up with the group of adventurers. She tried to reason in her mind how she managed to get this horny on a night where the moon wasn't full. Magic, most likely. Maybe the others were right, and the group did have a demon with them. The thought sent cold shivers down her spine, and made her nethers just a bit wetter.

Rounding a corner, she heard the moaning grow to a crescendo, before falling silent. She felt as though she knew what the two people were screaming about now, which did nothing to calm her lust. Then, she spotted them. The human was laying naked next to what was very clearly a demon, both of them in an improbably large pool of sexual fluids. It was quite the shock to be honest, and caused her to lose her footing a fall through the foliage she had been obscured by.

Now face down on the dirt and in plain view, she looked up towards the two, and hastily stood up. "Sorry if I happen to be... interrupting you two. You wouldn't happen to be a part of the adventuring group that just passed through a village earlier this morning, would you?" The woman asks, uncertain on how to address the situation. She'd hoped to meet with them in a less embarrassing manner.

Dirk was about to respond to Sune when a strange woman in a pointy hat suddenly tripped into the clearing, apologized to them, and then asked about him and his comrades. The abrupt and unexpected intrusion not only derailed his train of thought but ripped up the tracks and sold them for scrap metal. He stared at the woman for a second before the color suddenly drained from his face, and he sat bolt upright and tried to cover up his indecency, painfully aware of how out-of-reach their garments were right now.

It wasn't just that the woman had caught them in such a vulnerable state (although that was certainly a large part of it). Her sudden arrival was also a stark and chilling reminder that he was supposed to be watching out for threats.

Damn it, he knew this would happen, and then he'd let himself get distracted anyway! At least the lady didn't seem hostile...

He glanced over at Sune, who as far as Dirk could tell didn't seem to be all that bothered by this event, before glaring up at the woman with a mix of confusion and mortified embarrassment on his uncovered face.

"Who the hell are you!?" he asked accusingly. "What do you want with us? ...And what are you doing out here at this time of night?"

Valira moaned loudly into the kiss as Akalfa groped her ass and stroked her clit, jolts of pleasure being sent through her entire body. She returned the favor, using one of her hands to rub her pussy and tease the Dark Elfs own throbbing bud. Valira could not believe that Akalfa had ever doubted her own attractiveness, that she had spent so much time feeling insecure about her looks. Even without the potion the sorceress had the body worth praise in song and story. Valira found herself wishing for the talents of a bard in order to properly convey her thoughts and feelings. For now, all she could do was moan and pant desperately as Akalfa pulled away. She new what they both wanted, nay needed and she was determined that they would find it together.

''Good, now lie back and let me take my seat.''

Valira pulled down her undergarments at that, revealing her massive rear end and dripping wet pussy. She then sat above Akalfa, leaning slightly so that her face would be able to lap at the Dark Elf's pussy while Akalfa ate her out. Breathing heavily, she then sat down on Akalfa's face with a harsh moan, as she began to lick her lovers beautiful pussy. It tasted as amazing as it did earlier, and Valira was intoxicated by it. It was like seasoning, with pleasure being the main course.

''Mmm fuck Akalfa...''

Valira moaned this out as she continued to lick her lovers glistening folds, sending vibrations through the sorceress's body as she did so.
Akalfa didn't need further encouraging words. Gripping onto Valira's thighs with gusto she plunged her tongue deep within the High Elf's soaking wet folds, lapping at her pussy in hurried, desperate licks. Hardly anything in the world could compare to her lover's sweet taste, alternating between sucking her clit and lovingly stroking her thighs. Trying to remember all the places that made her elven inamorata scream the loudest, and provided more of that honeyed, saccharine sweet flavor to her delicate palate. Sune's envemoning started to feel like a blessing in disguise the further Akalfa fell into rhythm.

That rhythm soon being disrupted by a mind-shattering orgasm that rocked through her body mere seconds after feeling Valira's tongue. White hot pleasure surging through her veins in one toe curling instant, if her voice were not completely muffled her cry of pleasure could likely deafen ears, shuddering in her spontaneous climax. It was without a doubt that the potions effects had tripled her already great sensitivity to new heights, coming from the slightest bit of contact. It was...a somewhat embarrassing feeling to arrive so much earlier than her lover, soaking the sheets due to the sheer wetness her changed body seemed to provide. Even then it felt like she was on the precipice of another not far behind, so the Dark Elf redoubled her efforts. Licking deeper, faster, with as much precision as her devious mind could muster, refusing to cum again until Valira had reached her same peak.

Sune, for her part, calmly stood, and picked up her robe, and got dressed, though her eyes never left the stranger, and Daisy could see the annoyance in them, at being interrupted during.

Valira nearly fell forward as sheer pleasure rocketed through her body. Akalfa was eating her pussy like a woman possessed, and Valira returned the favour with equal fervour, licking, kissing and sucking until the Dark Elf's pussy was left a sopping mix of her saliva and Akalfa's own delicious juices. Her face was soaked, even more so when her paramour came like a water fountain, the scream of pleasure sending vibrations throughout her body that made her feel even more heavenly. She was a bit surprised by Akalfa's early orgasm, but she understood that the effects of the poison had probably rendered her lover far more sensitive than usual. She was gratified that she had brought her lover so much pleasure, and as Akalfa redoubled her efforts she knew that her own release was not far behind.

''Oh Akalfa! Akalfa d-don't stop! R-right there! I'm cumming cumming FUCK I'M CUMMMING!''

As Valira rode the wave of pleasure it was as if a dam had burst, her squirt drenching the writhing Dark Elf beneath her. Valira screamed and did not care who heard it, as her entire body trembled and her mind turned to mush from the wonderful feeling ravaging her body. Toes curled, seeing stars, her mouth was open in an ''o'' as she finally finished, almost collapsing on top of her lover but stopping herself just in time. Unable to speak until she caught a breath, all she could offer for the moment was a satisfied smile, like a cat that got the cream (so to speak).

"My name is Daisy, I'm a witch from the village you and your friends passed through not too long ago, and I want to join you in killing the dragon." She stated as though these facts were common knowledge. She maintained her distance from the two of them, though she shifted her weight from one leg to the other as they both glared at her. "I was collecting herbs and fungi for potions when you and your group passed through, so I couldn't tag along when you were in town. When I returned you, were gone and I had to rush over during the night to try and catch up. Sorry again if I happened to be interrupting what you two were doing."

She wanted desperately to avert her gaze, face flushing at the sight of the two naked people in front of her. But due to a mixture of her own horniness clouding her judgement and the thought that they might strike at her if she did look away, she couldn't stop staring at the two. She did, at least, try and peek at the more sensual parts of their nude forms as little as possible. It was a bit obvious that her eyes were shifting from in between their legs, to their chests, and back to their faces though. "If you don't want me here, I can just leave. Though I'd much rather not walk back at night."

Do we trust her? She heard about our mission secondhand and decided to follow us on a whim. That seems… sketchy. Dirk put his back to Daisy as he carefully got to his feet, watching her over his shoulder. The way her eyes kept wavering made him nervous.

On the other hand, another helping hand wouldn’t go amiss. Especially now that Zwarr’s gone. She’s pretty cute, too…

“I’d have to talk to the others about that…”

Once Sune cleaned off their bodies again, he hastily grabbed his clothes from the ground and started to pull them on. In the meantime, he’d have to figure out something with Daisy.

Now, what would Valira do?

“I suppose you can stay the night, at least,” he said, fastening his trousers. “We couldn't just send you off alone now, could we? Sune, do you think it’s worth waking the others to tell them about her now?"

He pulled his shirt over his head and faced Daisy once more. "I'm sure you didn't mean to interrupt anything," His face started to flush again before he tied a simple bandana over it. "And I guess we weren't exactly keeping quiet, so I can understand why you might have been curious."

"I'd very much appreciate that. And no, you really weren't quiet. That's actually how I found you." Daisy said, stepping closer. "Thank you for at least not sending me back as well. It's pretty dangerous around here, especially at night." A more grim look came across her face as she said this. "Should I go in by myself, or will one of you be leading me? Or am I going to stay out here until you get an answer from your friends?"

"Take her to the others, Dirk. I'll stay outside, and make sure we don't get surprised by anymore guests," Sune said, with a smile.

It seemed a bit risky: leaving the demon to her own devices for even this small amount of time, but Dirk suspected she wouldn't cause any serious trouble. Besides, he still had one piece of leverage. "You behave yourself while I'm gone," he whispered quietly to Sune, with a wink, "and I'll make sure you get your fifth." Then, he stepped away from the demon, and motioned for Daisy to follow him.

"So, out of curiosity: why are you so interested in joining up with us?" he asked her as they walked down the empty halls. "I know you want to kill the dragon, for whatever reason, but that's technically an optional goal, and might be a bit beyond our abilities, too."

Daisy followed after Dirk, looking around the cave as he lead her around. "Dragon scales and claws are powerful reagents and catalysts. If I can get even a single one, then I could enhance my potions considerably. It would be possible to create medicine ten times stronger ten times faster." She answered, turning her head back to look at him. "I could never achieve this on my own, but with a group of highly experienced adventurers, it would be a breeze."

She tilted her head to the side a bit. "What do you mean by an optional goal? From what I understand, someone got taken by the dragon and you're going to save them. Even if you manage to rescue them, it's almost certain that the dragon would come after you for taking its 'treasure'." Her voice has a slight inflection on the word treasure, using air quotes when saying the word. "Unless you mean you have some way of trapping it. In which case, I'm both impressed and curious."

Dirk winced as the gaps in his knowledge became readily apparent. "I... kind of figured it would be like any other robbery: get in, get the 'goods', get out. Not much of a plan, I know, but it really feels like every proper plan we make goes horribly, horribly wrong."

He gestured around them. "This place, for instance, belonged to a group of dark elves who kidnapped the bard we were travelling with. Our plan to get inside to rescue him ended up with two of us captured and me waiting outside for most of a day. They got themselves out, of course, but I'm pretty sure they were improvising every step of the way."

They rounded a corner, coming up on the bedrooms. Dirk tried to listen for sounds that might indicate if either Valira or Akalfa were awake. "I guess what I'm saying is: are you sure about what you're getting into? We have a good idea of where we're going, but only a vague understanding of what we'll find."

"Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the jaw. Tzu Sun, The Artistry of Combat." Daisy quoted from a book she read a long time ago, her eyes closed and a finger held up. "The fact that you and your group are able to improvise in order to get out of a sticky situation is proof enough of your experience. Having a plan is good, but being able to adapt once the plan goes south is the mark of a true warrior." She smiled at him, trying to reassure that he knew what he was doing.

"The fact that you managed to overtake a dark elf stronghold with a group of four, while three of them were kidnapped, is also proof of your skill. You even understand that you shouldn't mount a reckless charge and bided your time until you could get in and attempt a rescue. It may not sound like much, coming from someone who wasn't there when it went down, but you did something very incredible. So, yes, I am sure I want to join you." Her slight smile seemed to radiate optimism, practically glowing.

"I'm certain, regardless of the dangers, there will be a way to succeed. If not, you wouldn't be standing here telling me off about going on a life threatening excursion, and I'd be kidnapped by a group of dark elves and made into a slave." Daisy says cheerily, despite the rather dire nature of what came out of her mouth.

Coming down from the pinnacle of her climax Akalfa let out a woozy moan, her second orgasm only serving to relight the sensations she hardly recovered from the first time. With a fatigued, white-knuckled grip she finally fell back in exhaustion, well and truly satiated. All the sorceress could manage now was to return her companion's weary smile, voice ran ragged after such exertion; sure her lover was in a similar state to herself (and rather proud of that fact.) Without fail, as always, the High Elf warrior never ceased to look radiant. Planting a shy peck on Valira's lips Akalfa cuddled up to her, wanting nothing more than to sink into the bed for a good couple of hours in her lover's warm embrace, and...perhaps have a lengthy bath together in the morning. Now seemed like the perfect moment for a promising rest. If not for the sound of footsteps making their way through the hall.

Her heavy lids shot open as she realized that indeed, her sleep-deprived state was not deceiving her cognition. Those footsteps were very real and very near.

Groaning loudly Akalfa shakily pulled herself up, reluctant to deny both her and Valira the sleep they so desperately needed but even more hesitant to be caught in such a state of vulnerability. The last thing she wanted to do was leave a negative impression by greeting her companion at the door indecent! Gently nudging Valira she pointed towards the entrance.

"I believe it's one of our turns to keep watch. I'll take the shift, you just get some rest." Akalfa said with a brisk grin, her voice slightly hoarse. Throughout her frantic fumbling, she had managed to make herself at the very least half presentable, if not a bit disheveled in the way her hair stuck up in certain places but it would have to do.

Valira enjoyed the feeling of cuddling with Akalfa, feeling exhausted yet satisfied. She was just about to drift off herself when she too heard the sound of approaching footsteps. She groaned as loudly as her lover, it seemed it would be a while yet before they could pull a repeat of what happened in the inn. Still, there was nothing for it, if Dirk needed them he needed them. Besides, it was better that at least one of them be dressed when he came to greet them. Valira chuckled inwardly at the thought of his reaction to their naked bodies. Hearing Akalfa's words pulled her out of her reverie and filled her with gratitude.

''I really appreciate you saying that Akalfa, but please don't trouble yourself on my account. I would be happy to take watch in your stead.''

Valira said this with a smile, but her droopy eyes and a shaky yawn she let out showed how tired she truly was.

''Just let me rest my eyes for a moment and then I'll get....''

As Valira closed her eyes, she suddenly drifted off to sleep, mumbling slightly and snoring cutely as she snuggled into the bed. Clearly the best of intentions did not allow her to best the sandman in this instance.

Despite himself, Dirk smiled under his mask at Daisy's assessment. It was nice of her to say, even if it was just meant to ingratiate herself. She and Valira would get along great.

"Well, I'd say your chances are good. If these two are willing to take the actual demon onto the team after attacking them, they'll defintely accept you easily."

He hesitated for a second when they reached the door to his comrades' room, as though reluctant to disturb them even for something they'd agreed to do, but he knocked cautiously and listened for a response. "Are either of you awake? There's been a... development of sorts. We have a visitor."

Akalfa let out a small giggle seeing the way Valira cutely dozed off. Shaking her head she did perk up a bit at the mention of a visitor. Another elf? A returning face? Or someone new entirely? With only one way to find out, she adjusted her garments for the last time before opening the door to greet Dirk. A look of surprise on her face seeing an unfamiliar figure beside him, yet smiling nonetheless. She didn't doubt the stranger's trustworthiness, she couldn't with that adorable hat on her head! A key sign of some sort of magical prowess for certain, or at least she assumed, which was very welcome in her eyes.

"So we do! A friend of yours?" Akalfa asked with a raised brow. Instead of waiting for a reply, she extended her hand to Daisy, tired as the Dark Elf was her courtesy couldn't be shaken. If he brought her here she must've been an ally or at least a friendly face. Akalfa settling not to think otherwise for the time being, lest her anxiety come flooding back like a tide as per usual.

"Akalfa Dumri, a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

As best as she attempted to put on a calm, collected demeanor she couldn't help but feel slightly bashful at her current state. The middle of the night was a strange time for introductions after all. A part of herself felt ridiculous for being so ill-prepared just after being attacked by a demon but it couldn't be helped.

Daisy stepped forward and grabbed Akalfa's hand, and shaking it. Her grip was stronger than her dainty hands would lead one to believe, though it didn't hurt the dark elf. "Hello, I'm Daisy Belle. I'm here to help you and your group kill a dragon." Her tone was even, though it was clear she was excited by something. "I was just speaking with Dirk."

She let go of the woman's hand and stepped back. "I believe he wanted to ask you and your other companion if it's alright for me to join your group." She stated, looking Akalfa up and down. The woman before her was certainly something to behold. From her generous chest to her wide hips, and her cute face dotted with freckles. She was both incredibly cute and extremely sexy, and her current state of dress only added to how attractive she was.

Daisy blushed as the heat in her stomach came back with a vengeance. First it was the handsome and mysterious man who was good enough in bed to lay with a demon, and now a scantily clad goddess of femininity. Was everyone on this group hot? Would that be a requirement to join? She was confident in her looks, but she really didn't stack up to them in terms of raw sex appeal compared to the others.

Valira yawned heavily, waking up due to the noise to behold a stranger talking to Akalfa. Judging by her appearance she was clearly some sort of magic user, yet Valira's sleep deprived brain took a moment to fully register what she was looking at. She was quite attractive that went without saying, and even in Valira's tired state she took a moment to appreciate her form. She did not ogle, as sleepy as she was and attractive as she thought the stranger to be she still had her manners after all. Using the sheet to cover her body (she was still nude after the fun from earlier), she quickly put her undergarments back on at least, smiling sheepishly at the newcomer.

''Forgive my state of undress, I was just about to fall asleep before you entered. My name is Valira Aurum, knight and scion of the house that bears the same name. It is a pleasure to meet you miss?....''

It was obvious that Valira hadn't been conscious for the introductions.

Dirk stood to the side as they introduced themselves to one another. “This is Daisy. She just sort of staggered into the clearing outside and asked if we were with the group that passed through her village yesterday. Says she’s a witch, and I see no reason to doubt her on that, and she also says she wants to help us against Garam. I figured she could at least stay the night, rather than sending her out on her own again, and we could discuss it properly once everybody’s rested."

"I also figured I should let you two know, so you wouldn’t be surprised by her presence," he added, sheepishly.

Speaking of rest, neither of them looked like they'd gotten much yet. They both seemed to sway where they stood with their eyes not fully open. He couldn’t ask them to replace him on guard in this state!

“You two not sleeping well?" He tilted his head to the side quizzically. "You don’t look like you’ve rested at all since we took watch.” The demon's venom, probably. Don't pry. “If you two want to go back to bed, go ahead and do so. I’ll see if we can work something out."

After a moment, he added: "Might be we don't actually need someone standing watch. I mean, Daisy only found us because Sune and I were talking out there."

"Oh, hello Lady Aurum. As Dirk said, my name is Daisy Belle, and I'm a witch." Daisy said with a slight bow. She wasn't aware that one of the members of the group was a knight, though she hadn't heard of House Aurum. Must have been a foreign nation. Then again, she did live out in the boonies, and wasn't entirely up to date on current politics of noble houses. "It's an honor to meet a knight." She stated with a smile.

Valira was pretty too, and was showing about as much skin as the other Akalfa was. Being attractive is definitely a requirement to join. That or going around with little to no clothes on. As she was thinking, she noticed that she was staring at the Valira's body, and hastily looked back to her face. "My apologies for staring. I'd like to say your outfit isn't distracting, but it really is. Not that that's a bad thing! We did just wake you."

"If you're not sleeping well, I can probably brew something to help you fall asleep. I think I brought some dried chamomile petals with me." She said as she began digging through her bag for something.

''Truly? That is wonderful, more help is greatly appreciated! Especially given that one of our companions recently left us for parts unknown. Our quest is a noble yet perilous one, but I am sure you knew that. I look forward to getting to know you better, and to fighting alongside you!''

Despite her tired state, Valira managed to muster a bit of her usual passionate enthusiasm. As Daisy spoke Valira smiled, blushing a bit at both the compliment and Daisy's staring. She cleared her throat shifting slightly.

''Please the honour is mine and its quite alright, I suppose I should take it as a compliment. Better to be distracting than boring! Besides, its not as if I didn't give you the once over.''

Valira said this in a playful tone, trying to lighten the mood.

''That would be very helpful thank you Daisy, Akalfa and I were having a bit of trouble drifting off as Dirk has clearly surmised.''

That was a white lie but it was better than telling the truth in this instance. She then turned to Dirk, frowning slightly as she considered what he said.

''Are you sure? It may seem overly cautious but do we really want to take that risk? We don't want to be caught unawares, like we were in the past.''

She thought for a moment on how to phrase this next question.

''You said you two were outside? What were you doing out there?''

Valira didn't mean to pry or seem nosey, she was just genuinely confused.

"Then I'll take your glances as a compliment as well. Thank you for having me!" Daisy said cheerily. She pulled out a small vial of dried petals from her bag, looked at the label, and put it back. "No, that's wolfsbane..." She muttered to herself, barely audible to the other three. She drew out another vial and looked it over before closing the bag. "Here's the chamomile. I'll boil some water and brew some tea then. Please wait until I finish." She stated as she began to retrace her steps, before sheepishly turning around and coming back.

"Actually, is there a spot you'd prefer for me to start a fire? Making one outside might draw attention."

Dirk’s expression – mostly obscured by his bandana – was carefully blank. “Oh, you know: keeping watch, talking a bit, getting to know one another… just passing the time, really. Discussion did get a bit, well, louder that it should have before Daisy interrupted, but I think the demon and I get along well enough.”

Quickly changing the subject, he looked over at the witch as she started digging through her reagents. “Fire? Uh, I think Sune’s lab might have something for that, or there’s also a kitchen around here somewhere.” He raised an eyebrow to the elves. “You two can escort her there, I think, since you’re the ones she’s helping.”

"Well, I too wouldn't mind a new member of our little gathering, I'd welcome one proficient in the arcane arts any day, maybe you could teach me a thing or two!" Akalfa said playfully, with as much warmth as she could muster. Even while weary the mood was far from sour. Happy to see a new face, and to catch her gaze for a shy moment.

They definitely needed the extra aid and a capable witch sounded extraordinarily useful. Plus she was just...downright pretty! Perhaps the venom was playing a part but the witch was quite a vision of loveliness, even if Akalfa's eyes were only half open. Dirk's words did have merit. A slight blush on her face as her attempt at seeming alert fumbled. Hearing all the talk of reagents did gather her curiosity, maybe the stranger would find some use out of a few of the ingredients they had found earlier.

She smiled watching the three conversate. Daisy seemed like a good fit already! Perhaps they just might best the dragon after all. Stranger or not a positive impression was forming fast.

"I believe you're right, perhaps a night guard is not needed. I'm sure we all ought to rest. To be honest, I'm absolutely impressed you managed to get along with Sune so well, I couldn't hold a conversation to save my life. At this rate Dirk you may just end up a professional demon tamer!" Akalfa said with a slight chuckle. He truly must have been charismatic to cut it up with the demoness without incident, maybe Sunelarra's reform was closer at hand than the sorceress had first perceived. She nodded in agreeance at Dirk's request, turning to Daisy.

"I would be happy to show her the way. Tea sounds divine at this point in the night. In fact, we may have some items of interest to you. Right Valira?" Akalfa said, referring to their bag of goodies. Sharing a few reagents didn't seem like a bad idea. Considering their haul regardless gold wouldn't be in short supply.

"I would love to swap notes with you! It's been some time since I've met someone new with magical talent." Daisy beamed happily, far too energetic for this time of night. She couldn't really tell what sort of magic user Akalfa was, though that could be discussed over tea or on the way to the lab. The blush on Akalfa's face only served to reinforce her cuteness.

"Maybe we'll have to teach Dirk a thing or two as well. I can see him being a very competent warlock, given his affinity with your demon." Daisy didn't know what to think of Sune. The demon was clearly annoyed with her presence, though she'd only been around her briefly. Maybe she was simply annoyed at being interrupted. That was probably more likely, given her sudden intrusion.

"Please, lead the way Akalfa. I have a workshop at home, though I'm excited to see what kinds of instruments this lab might hold. I might need to tinker a bit whilst I wait for the water to boil." She said, excited to see what kinds of fancy equipment this cave lab might hold.

Valira raised an eyebrow at Dirk's response, a bit surprised that they were getting along so well but happy all the same. After all, creating a rapport with the demon was necessary if they truly hoped to reform her. Part of her was worried about Sune taking advantage of Dirk or manipulating him in some way, but she quickly shook her head free of such thoughts. Dirk may not have been the experienced adventurer he had made himself out to be when they first met, but he was a strong and skilled man nonetheless, not to mention charismatic when he wanted to be, and Valira trusted his judgement. Broken out of her reverie by Akalfa's statements, she smiled tiredly yet genuinely.

''Yes it is truly remarkable Dirk, you will have to give us pointers on demon whispering at some point. And I suppose you both are right, we are probably safe enough within these walls so taking watch would be superfluous. And yes we found quite a few ''goodies'' during our exploration of the place, I'm sure you'll find something you like.''

Valira could tell that Akalfa found Daisy attractive, but there was no jealousy on her part. Not only did she also find the newcomer enchanting, she and Akalfa had never discussed making what they had exclusive. In fact, the possibilities of this mutual attraction between the three of them brought obvious imagery into her head, exacerbated by the venom they brought heat to her core and hardened her nipples despite being satisfied only a few minutes ago. Valira gave a stretch, trying to rouse her body and calm it down at the same time.

''Just allow me to get my armor back on and I will join you two.''

Valira got dressed as quickly and discretely as possible, although it was hard to avoid showing off a bit of her underwear clad self. Blushing as she fixed her hair, she shot Akalfa and Daisy a smile.

''Let us be off then!''

Even exhausted and filled with an aphrodisiac venom, one could not fault Valira on her enthusiasm.

Dirk waved silently as the three of them left for their tea, before turning the other way to head back to the entrance. The empty halls were quiet save for his own footsteps, and his thoughts.

He wasn’t sure how to explain to the others that his “demon whispering” was essentially just him going along with whatever the demon suggested. There was no trick or charisma to it. Sune’s interest didn’t even strike him as a real emotional connection so much as it was mere opportunistic whimsy on both their parts. It certainly wasn’t like what Valira and Akalfa had found in the two days they’d known each other. Or Valira and Sholgra in the two days they’d known each other, thinking back on it. And judging by the way the three women had kept sneaking coy glances at one another, he suspected that this pattern was going to hold true for Daisy as well. At least she’d was gaining acceptance quickly.

…It was starting to feel like he was intruding again - even if it was just with his thoughts. Dirk doubted any of them would approve of such speculation, especially not from him. Maybe he ought to just stay out of the way for a bit. Give them all some space… for Akalfa to work out the venom, for Daisy and Sune to familiarize themselves, and for Valira to maybe get some relaxation after carrying the group this whole time. Perhaps he should sneak out alone tomorrow morning, and get a head start on scouting the mountains. Something to consider.

Or maybe that was just his cowardice talking: the self-destructive part of his psyche that always drove him to close himself off; that even now had him thinking of them as “comrades” and not “friends.” The part that insisted on the mask…

He sighed. I have got to stop getting introspective.

Mercifully, the thought process terminated once Dirk reached the cavern’s mouth. He stood in the shadow of the entryway and glanced around the clearing for Sune, though he wouldn’t have put it past her to run off the moment no one was watching.

"Lead the way." Daisy said, following the two women as they lead her to the laboratory. She cast a glance towards Dirk, questioning why he wasn't coming with. Then she remembered what he and Sune had been doing when she stumbled on them. A light flush came across her face once more, believing that he would go back and 'finish the job'. She didn't comment on this thought or his departure, realizing that he probably wanted to keep the affair a secret.

Walking to the lab, Daisy felt curiosity grip her. It was clear the two women had some kind of relationship. It's not particularly normal for two women to sleep in the same room while dressed in so little, unless it was some form of elven custom she wasn't familiar with. Though Akalfa and Valira were also clearly not the same type of elf, despite having very similar figures. Adventuring was tiring and stressful work, so perhaps they took comfort in each other when they had free time. Maybe they were even lovers. Was the entire adventuring party secretly some kind of polycule? If so, why was Dirk either excluded or unwilling to join.

"You three seem fairly close. How long have you known each other?" She finally asked, deciding that was the least offensive of her curiosities.

Akalfa was a bit saddened by Dirk's sudden departure. Feeling as though it was yet another missed opportunity on her part to say something. She did think to invite him for tea but that look in his eye said he had elsewhere to be, a disinterest, or elsewhere he was thinking of at least. But she was always bad at guessing what he was thinking with that mask obscuring his face. In the beginning, when she first met the three Akalfa was quick to assume everyone must have been thick as thieves, but as time went on she couldn't help but suspect otherwise. There was a certain distance that was felt, and that only made her more curious. A worry-filled thought of whether or not she may have earned his disfavor in some way did cross her mind, but it was just as likely that he could be shy. Perhaps the demon was easier to talk to? Or maybe the sorceress was too indirect in her approach? Did she make him uncomfortable?

Her worrisome train of thought was thankfully interrupted by Daisy's query before self-doubt could completely chew her up inside. Maybe she'd bring him out a cup of tea, chat a bit, perchance figure out what might have been wrong...if there was anything wrong at all, and her mind wasn't just doing what it always did.

She paused for a moment to think. Looking off thoughtfully as she did so.

"I'm actually a newer addition to the group myself. I've truthfully only been around for...two? Maybe three days. We haven't known each other long but I'd be lying to say I haven't grown a tad attached." Akalfa said with a chuckle. A 'tad attached' being a large understatement considering her obvious amorous affinity with her fellow elven friend. Short as their time had been this was more adventure than she had experienced in her lifetime, learning so many new things about her people, and forming new connections to boot. At first a deep, gnawing dread, but now an exciting prospect, with only a hint of terrible dread.
