Starting Over [Archangel] [Discontinued]

[Floozer]

No windows can be seen so he is left waiting by the door as the voices get closer.

"Just remember, don't kill him... we are not murderers!"

"yea yea, I know... I just want to hurt him a bit."

The third one is silent now... it seems like he just wants to go home.

 

[Archangel99]

Pfft. Don't hurt me? You're not even getting a chance to do that.
He pulls the gun out before checking the chamber for a bullet, then holding it at head level next to the door.

 

[Floozer]

They continue to argue and talk until it sounds like they are just outside the door.

"I think he went in here... go check it out dumbass!"

"No thanks, you are the one butt hurt about your gun, you go!"

Again the third one is silent, just sighing to himself.

 

[Archangel99]

Come on... Come and get me, you bastards... I'm waiting...
His hand is trembling slightly, but he knows what he has to do. Safety off, and pull the trigger. Plain and simple. Yes, he'd be taking a life, but... He was preserving his own.

 

[Floozer]

After more arguing the arguing guy steps through the door way, his eyes instantly seeing Kai and turning his head with wide eyes, his body tensing to try and move.

 

[Archangel99]

Too late. He immediately pulls the trigger, sending a bullet right into his skull. With his other hand, he grips the sword, ready to draw it out should he need to.

 

[Floozer]

The gun fires off with a loud bang, the bullet embedding itself into the punks kull and ropping him dead to the floor. however, with no skill in handling a weapon,t he recoil hurts Kai's wrist and sends the gun flying backwards out of his grasp. The other two scream and the punk girl runs in, already throwing a punch that connects cleanly with Kai's jaw.

"you fucking killed him you ass! With MY gun!"

 

[Archangel99]

He staggers back from the punch, then growls as he swings his sword with his left hand, aiming for her midsection. If it connected, he'd pull it out and switch it to his dominant right hand. If it didn't, he'd try to kick her away to get some distance between them and switch his sword hand.

 

[Floozer]

She ducks the swing of his sword! "Haha! You mi-" Then his boot finds her face and sends her sprawling backwards onto her back with a bloody nose. She groans in annoyance before getting back up "I'm gonna-" and is interrupted again by a pipe banging over the back of her head, dropping her out cold.

Off to the side is the quite one holding the pipe. "....sorry Betty... but this was stupid.,"

 

[Archangel99]

"Yeah. It was. Smart move, buddy." Kai growls, standing up and rubbing at the sore spot on his face. "Whose stupid idea was it to come in here anyway?"

 

[Floozer]

"Betty's." He says with a heavy sigh... he sounds really tired and sad "I only rolled with these two because there was safety in numbers. Then they started looting for money and that was fine... then they started robbing people and it went down hill from there. Betty wasn't always a turbo bitch, she used to be downright pleasant."

His eyes move over to the dead guy "Eric was always a bit of an ass though... probably rubbed off on Betty or something. Look, I am not going to fight you so... I don't suppose you will let me drag Betty's dumb ass out of here?"

 

[Archangel99]

He pauses for a while, letting the tension build before he shrugs and nods. "Fine. Don't come back. And next time, don't let a jackass into the group. Like this particular idiot." He mutters, looking down at the dead body.

 

[Floozer]

"Yea... thanks." With a bit of effort he gets Betty onto his back and quitely leaves without a another word. Kai likely won't see any more from them.

 

[Archangel99]

He watches the two leave till they're out of sight, then bends down to loot the dead body of Eric.

 

[Floozer]

He has his metal scrap armor that he is wearing, a crowbar on the back of his belt and a strange metal tube with a button on it and a wide open end at one side.

 

[Archangel99]

Hmmm... I should probably take this crap back to Mamma's dome... I'll probably get something good in return... But... What the heck is this?
He presses the button on the end of the tube, but keeps the hollow end pointed away from his face.

 

[Floozer]

A beam of light shines from the metal tube, illuminating the darker corner that it is pointed at.... cool!

 

[Archangel99]

He grins and keeps it in his pouch. This would definitely be useful later!

He does keep the crowbar as well, in case he'd need it later. The scrap armour he picks up in his arms, before exiting the building and walking back to the dome.

 

[Floozer]

Back to the dome and several hours later he walks past Teddy and back into the market with a bunch of scrap armor in his hands.

He walks upstairs to the salesman slowly, keeping an eye out for a certain android lady.

 

[Floozer]

He finds the same bored looking human merchant, now reading what seems to be a raunchy magazine.

 

[Archangel99]

He coughs before walking up to the man, and tossing the armor onto the table with a thump.
"Hey. I'm back. Got this off some idiot who got himself killed. What can you give me for it?" He asks.

 

[Floozer]

He raises a brow and looks over the gear "Eh, kind of low grade but the base work is not too bad. I could give you two hundred Dons for it."

 

[Archangel99]

He blinks at that. "Dons? What's that?" He asks, tilting his head slightly.

 

[Floozer]

Again he sighs and reaches under his counter, coming up with a metal box which he flips open and pulls out a pressed metal square "This is a Don, we use them as currency."

 

[Archangel99]

"Oh... Okay. Will I really need it? I mean, I doubt I'll be coming back here anytime soon... Oh! Wait. You guys have a food stock here as well, right?" He asks.

 

[Floozer]

"That much should be obvious." He says in his increasingly bored sounding tone.

 

[Archangel99]

"Ah. Okay then. I'll take it. Thanks!" He says, taking the metal plates and putting them in his pouch before walking away, wandering around the dome until he finds the food storage.

 

[Floozer]

Slop Shop, a small counter to the side of the markte, seems to be serving food... maybe they can help! It is run by a cute looking girl... with light green skin, tusks, a toned body and spines running down her back.

 

[Archangel99]

He stops quite a distance away, before shaking his head and walking towards her. He'd seen enough sentient infected that the effect was starting to wear off.
"Hi." He says once he's close. "Need some food. What can I get for 20 dons?" He asks.
