Starting Over [Archangel] [Discontinued]

[Floozer]

"Ah! Yes. I have seen your brother from a distance... he tried to get into ze dome without a claw... silly boy. Teddy just kept him away from the door until a guard came out. Dey shared ze words and off he went to the north west.... not sure what he is looking for though... creatures out dat way only get mad when you shoot at them."

 

[Archangel99]

He nods. "Thank you Mamma. Oh, and I got these for you too." He says, kneeling on the floor and removing the articles he had collected from his bag. "These things. Don't know what they do, but I thought you might need them." He says with a shrug, pushing one of the clicky things forward.

 

[Floozer]

"Oh... staplers... they hold papers together, but I do need them.... they have tiny springs that are hard to make." She picks up the papers and her smiles grows bigger and bigger "Oh... oh yes... these papers... they are all of this droids production notes! It's like I have a paper copy of her! Oh yes dese are perfect!" She smiles her big scary smile at Kai "I'm afraid I am in debt to YOU now leetle one. You brought me more than I asked for!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Ah... That's okay. I don't really need anything. Well... Um... Actually..." He thinks for a minute. "I could use some better weapons and armour..." He murmurs.

 

[Floozer]

"Oh pffffffffffffffffffffft, dat much is ze easy cakes. I could get hyu some better stuff easy!" She says with a laugh before putting the new things on her table.

"If I may ask... what will become of me Mamma?" Hina asks gently.

"Oh don't hyu worry your preety head! I won't take you apart or anything, hy just need to see how hyu body is made and if I can remake your mother board."

"I... understand. I will not cause a fuss."

 

[Archangel99]

"Well... Am I needed here, or should I just...?" He glances at the door, wanting to be out already.

Forgive me Hina. I have to do this. It's a droid I don't know or my family. I know which is more important...

 

[Floozer]

"Bah, you can go if you want." She says, reaching up and pulling a tooth out which she tosses to him "Here, give to shop keep, get some better gear than silly wood crap." She says as a new tooth already grows into place "Also, stop being little bitch, I am not going to infect you."

 

[Archangel99]

He nearly drops the tooth she tosses him, then nods and quickly scurries out of the room. "How the hell would you know if you infected me?" He mutters once he's outside the building. Then, he starts looking for the shopkeeper. This time, he doesn't ask for directions, taking his time and exploring the place to see how the people here lived.

 

[Floozer]

It seems there were four floors to this place. The top floor was for Mamma, the third floor was for living arangements which were mostly just closed off metal huts, the second floor was food and recreation while the first floor handled all the trade. Then down in the basement, judging by the moaning, was where the more base desires were filled.

 

[Archangel99]

He immediately makes his way down to the first floor, looking for the shopkeeper. If he could find good weapons and armour, he'd last longer on the trip!

 

[Floozer]

It takes a bit of searching but he soon finds a stall run by a bored looking human man with gray hair and brown eyes. He looks to be about 50 or so and the years have not been kind to his appearance.

 

[Archangel99]

"Um... Hi. Do you have any weapons and armour I can use?" He asks, pushing Mamma's tooth across the counter. "Better than a spear and rusty machete, at least. And a tree trunk." He says with a chuckle.

 

[Floozer]

He raises a brow at the tooth and sighs "Yea, I got some leather gear which will give a bit more defense and keep you mobile. Or we got some scrap metal gear that is stronger but noticeably heavier. Which one is more you?"

 

[Archangel99]

"Uhh... I'm a little too skinny for scrap metal, so... Let's go with the leather armour, please." Kai says, nodding.

 

[Floozer]

He shrugs and reaches under the counter, coming up with a leather chest piece, thigh and shin guards, bracers and shoulder pads. It looks kind of like old football gear.

 

[Archangel99]

"Thanks. Now... Weapons. I'll need one better machete, if you have it. Or something similar. And I need something a little long range too. Like this spear." He says, giving it a shake.

 

[Floozer]

Again he reaches under his counter and comes back up with... well, it looks like an old straight sword but made out of old car parts. Next he comes up with a bident, a two headed spear made of more old car parts.

 

[Archangel99]

[Two headed meaning there's heads at opposite ends?]

"Oh. This looks nice." He takes out his spear and machete, leaving it on the counter. "You can have these, if it'll help." He murmurs, before taking the weapons and stashing them in their usual places. "Well, thank you, then!" He says cheerily, before turning and walking away, looking for the exit of the dome.

 

[Floozer]

[No, think a trident but with only two points.]

He just grunts and soon Kai is back out the front door, Teddy ever vigilant at his post to the side of it.

 

[Archangel99]

He adjusts his gear and sighs, before looking in the direction Mamma had pointed to. "Well then Max... I'm coming to kick your ass..." He murmurs, walking in that direction.

 

[Floozer]

Off to the north west is Kai's next direction, traveling through the city and away from the dome. The further he gets from Mamma's place, the more the greenery seems to come back... she must do something to keep it away.

The day drags on as Kai attempts to navigate the unknown city, dodging dangerous terrain and other potential hazards before the sun starts to go down.

He groans and stops for a while, looking around for a safe place to stay for the night. The higher the spot, the better.

 

[Floozer]

Plenty of buildings around that would at least get him off the street, though none of them look particularly inviting. Still, better than in the open right?

 

[Archangel99]

Eh... Anything is better than staying out in the open and getting eaten...
He walks into one of the buildings, looking around for stable ground, preferably with four walls still standing.

 

[Floozer]

With a bit of searching her finds a room with four walls still up... looks like an old storage room judging by the metal shelves, that should serve as decent shelter.

 

[Archangel99]

He walks in and sits on the floor, before groaning. He had nothing to sleep on! He sighs and just lies down on the floor, curling up into a ball and trying to sleep. He keeps his hand on the hilt of his new sword as he sleeps, just in case.

 

[Floozer]

The night is long and uncomfortable as the thin deteriorating carpet in the room does nothing to cushion his slumber. Eventually light spills in the cracks of the building, alerting him to the morning that has just arrived.

 

[Archangel99]

He groans and sits up, sleepily rubbing his eyes.
Ugh. I hate waking up in the morning. One more day in this living hell...
He closes his eyes for a bit longer, then grunts and gets to his feet, cracking his neck before gathering his gear and walking out of the room, alert for anything that might have snuck up on him during the night.

 

[Floozer]

He doesn't even reach the door to the building when he hears three familiar voices.

"I know I saw that punk come over here! I wanna teach him a lesson!"

"Yea! Fucker stole our loot and my gun!"

"You and your stupid gun... it was a piece of crap to begin with...'

His eyes widen. Crap! Don't tell me those idiots with the arm from before-!? Shit! This isn't good! I can't take on all of them!
He quickly looks around the room in case it had a window. If not, he would wait next to the door to spring a trap on the punks.
