Dryvus slams his palms down on hr shoulders, panting heavily. "Ab-About damn t-time. I was wondering if y-you were even p-planning to give up!" He lets out a pained laugh, then rolls to the side.
"My hunters charm. A symbol of status among my tribe. I have lost to my prey, which normally costs you your life. you didn't kill me though, so this is the next biggest consequence. I will have to start over from scratch, no better than a pup on their first hunt."
Dryvus turns the charm over in his fingers. "Actually... I could use someone of your skills... Why don't you join me?" He says, looking her straight in the eye.
"Ok, I will follow you then. My life is forfeit so I have no choice in the matter." She slowly gets to her paws, shaky as she does so. Walking over to grab her staff and cut the other girls free, she then walks in front of Dryvus and hands him her necklace. "Return this to me, when I have earned the right to call myself a hunter again, my chieftain"
"Very well..." He puts the necklace on. "From this day until the day until the day I judge you fit to be called a huntress again... You shall serve me." He says.
"so shall it be." She puts her right fist over her left shoulder in a salute. "My name is kresh'na if you care about that sort of things"

"She swore her life to me. Which means it's up to me to take care of her. Would I sell you girls to the brothel?" He says, looking at them sideways. "And anyways, this one... This one has a sense of honour." He says, nodding to Kresh'na.

"Oh yeah. Kresh'na, have you by any chance seen humans passing by? I'm looking for them. I'm on a mission, you could say. Gotta get them home in one piece.," He says, looking back at her.
"Yes. A few weeks ago a group of six humans attempted to pass through the grasslands. My sisters caught three of them, the others made it into the city. We have not seem them since then so they are either still in there, or left at night when we sleep."
"Well shit. You do know I need to get them back home, right? They have a family and kids to take care of..." He says.
"that is out of my control. They were prey and my sisters were hunters. Now they are prizes. If it is any consolation, they have not been harmed nor modified in any noticeable way. They are simply part of their harems now, living to serve the hunters that caught them."
"I still have a duty to fulfill, but... Not right now. When I get stronger, I'll go back. I'll defeat your whole tribe if I have to. But I will finish my mission! Let it never be said that Dryvus Maxin failed a mission!" He says to nobody in particular.
"I can still try. But as a wise man once said... I only gamble when the odds are in my favour. I'll get stronger, learn more spells, and get them out." He says, his hands on his hips.
"That would be three. That twat didn't tell me how many were with that train... Could be more. Kresh'na said that they caught three... Three escaped. One possibly in the snow lands. That makes a total of seven." He says. "I think we'll check around in the city first. Somebody had to have seen them!"

Dryvus nods and continues walking to the city. When he gets within sight, he hails the gate guards and asks them if they had seen any humans recently.
The guards look at each other and start talking.
"Yea, a group of three showed up a few weeks back, running from the huntresses. They begged us to go and help their friends but we aren't allowed to leave our post."
"They went inside and...that was the last we saw of them. so they either went out the north gate...or they are still in the city."

"Guys, you ask around. I'll head to the north gate. Then, after an hour or two of investigation, we meet back at the inn. Same room as always." Dryvus says, striding inside and making a beeline for the north gate, questioning the guards when he gets there.
"Yea...two humans left through here a few weeks ago. Said they were going to head north."
"We warned them that the snow lands are not safe...but they wouldn't listen. We have not seen them since then so...they either made it to frost nip or..well, bad things happened."

"Thank you. Wait a minute. The guards at the other gate said that three came in. Only two left? Are you sure? Then that means one of them is in the city, right?" He asks, looking at the guards.
"Thanks." He walks back inside, asking random passer bys and shopkeepers especially, if they have seen a human in the city anytime recently.
Sadly, he doesn't get anything specific. Just vague recollections of passing by humans. As Dryvus moves about, he can't help but notice the black smith is gone, replaced by a naga man in the same profession.
Altra comes jogging over to him, tits bouncing with her movements. "Big guy! Dryvus! We got a lead!"
