"No... let him cool off for a while... Everything is locked down, anyway. He just has the code for the door. Just needs to get this done, and then we can unload the cargo and go for a drink."

Vosk finished placing his gear in the security locker which clicked shut. The small number pad on the front of the container lit up revealing that it was securely locked and awaiting the password that would release it. Meanwhile the elevator finally reached their floor and the large metal door slid open.

The group's eyes widened in shock at what they saw next. Out of the elevator spilled a writhing slimy mass of green that had filled the elevator almost to the ceiling. The stuff spread out over the floor in a thick carpet that, as they looked closer, was revealed to be a squirming mass of green slug-like creatures that slithered towards them far faster than any slug had the right to. The innumerable creatures, each one's bulbous body capped by four short tentacles, crawled over everything that got in their way. Chairs, boxes, even the walls were no deterrent as hey crept toward the gawking onlookers.

[Gonna assume I can see what's happening.]

"Oh... Shit..." Dak mutters, his eyes going wide. "Good thing I left early, huh Mai?" He murmurs, eyes fixed on the group to see what happens next.

"Oh, that's just the security force," replied Sara, nonchalantly. "Don't worry, they just need to give you a good once over and you'll feel right as rain," she continued, her voice taking on a blissful tone. As the group watched, the baggy jumpsuit that she wore began to undulate, as if there was something on Sara's back... something that was moving. All at once the fabric of Sara's suit pulled taut, and burst from her body in shreds revealing that she wore nothing underneath it, as well as a monstrous version of the green slug things clinging to her back; covering almost all of it. As she stretched her arms up over her head, four long thick tentacles sprang from the creature to dangle to the floor; writhing absentmindedly as Sara looked at the group with lustful eyes.

"Ohhhh ew. I would recommend that you guys haul ass. Now." Dak says, grimacing at the scene. "Security force is probably a parasite of some sort." He muses.

(Hold on a second... Mai's pistol wasn't confiscated according to the chat-log.)

Mai pulls her laser pistol and fires into the crowd of slugs. "BACK TO THE SHIP, NOW!" She yells.

Dak grabs his rifle and strides to the door, waiting for them to get closer before opening the door and firing a burst of shots at the monster, but mostly aiming for Sara.

"Well shit." He says as he puche a in the security code into his locker and pulls out a flashbang from his belt, pulling the pin and throwing it in front of Sara's feet. Then he pulls all his shit out and starts putting it on. "Cover me!" He yells to the others as he is putting his chest plate on.

"Gotcha!" Jacintha shouts, rushing in front of Vorlin as she lashes the writhing horde with her bio whip.

Dak couldn't get a clear shot from his position at the end of the entry tube, but he did have a clear view of the hanger, and noticed another ship, a small personal cruiser, powering up. Meanwhile the gunshots and lashes of Jay's whip did little to slow the oncoming mass. However as soon as the flashbang went off the first few layers of creatures paused momentarily, and Sara went down to her knees clutching her eyes. Just as Vosk managed to secure his chest piece, something warm and wet hit his shoulder. Looking to his side he saw one of the slugs crawling on it. Batting the thing off, he looked up and realized that the creatures had spread to the ceiling and beginning to drop down in a sickly green rain.

"Goddamnit, run! Make a goddamn run for it!" Mai yells, turning around and sprinting all she could towards the door. "Punch in the goddamn code, Dak, and keep the door clear!"

"Haul ass is right! Get a move on sharky, if you want to live to tell the tale!" Jacintha shouts, taking a quick shot from her electrogun at Sara, before rushing to follow Mai.

Dak quickly runs to the console and powers the ship up, setting the weapons to target the fleeing craft just in case.
Then, he runs back the way he came and takes out two incendiaries before popping off the tops and tossing them at the monster when it's close enough.

Jay's shot struck Sara square in the chest, sending her tumbling to the floor as the electricity raced through her body. She, and the rest of the group entered the tubular walkway as they made a break for the ship. Standing by the ship's door, Dak could see that, while the little creatures were quick for their size, they were no match for people running at full speed. He also noticed sudden movement out of the corner of his eye, and turned just in time to see the smaller cruise ship plow into the side of the Atlas. While the small ship wasn't big enough to do any serious damage to a vessel as sturdy as the cargo hauler, it was able to push it along the floor of the hanger.

The party was thrown from their feet as the Atlas' airlock door was ripped from the entry tube, and the hanging structure was left swinging on the support cords that suspended it from the ceiling. Just as they were getting to their feet, a low groaning sound filled their ears. Looking up, they saw the support cable closest to the end of the walkway that had been attached to the Atlas begin to give way; having been damaged as the large ship was pulled free. With a powerful lurch, the cord snapped, causing the entre tube to go slightly lopsided. Then the middle support cable began to groan as well.

[Everyone make an agility roll to grab onto something.]

[12. Sweg. Oh yeah. I've been meaning to ask. Do we apply Dex mods to agility rolls?]

[In this system, a roll is just 1d6 plus the stat, there are no mods. Still, good rolls all around.]

As one end of the tunnel fell, turning the walkway into a giant tube slide, the crew of the Atlas scrambled for purchase inside. Fortunately, between the wire mesh floor and their natural reflexes, they managed to lower themselves to the end of the tunnel with some of their dignity intact rather than simply being dumped in an unceremonious heap. Once back on level ground, they found themselves on the wide open floor of the hanger; with the Atlas fast being pushed away from them. Before they could formulate a plan, movement from all around them caught their attention. From out of the other ships in the hanger, as well as many nooks and crannies, came what appeared to be the working staff of the hanger. They moved towards the group steadily, if not very quickly, with big welcoming smiles on their faces; and various blunt tools in their hands. Nearby, several corridors leading deeper into the station could be seen.

"Oh shit. Take them down!" Dak yells, aiming and firing his rifle at the nearest few, bolts of superheated plasma flying out from his gun.
"And find a fucking exit while you're at it!"

Upon seeing Dak level his weapon at them, the workers quickly took cover behind unpacked crates, and parked ships; though not before a few of them had been gunned down.

Mai didn't want to leave the Atlas behind... but she also knew that there was no way she could climb up to the entrance of the large cargo hauler, especially with the crazed mob around her. "Goddamnit! We gotta find shelter somewhere! Ship's a no-go if we can't get to the airlock! No way to get inside from the ground-level when it's locked down!" She shouts, running for the corridors and only stopping once in a while to pop off a few clumsy shots from her laser pistol.
