Jacintha pops up from the chair as well. Following at a casual pace behind the others.

The walk through the tube was surprisingly quiet. Usually a space trafficker would be on standby to welcome anyone with business for the station. As they reached the second airlock at the other end of the tube, they found it wide open, as was the door on the other side of the decontamination chamber it lead into. On the other side of the door, they found the docking bay lounge completely empty. No security, no trafficker, not even a greeter droid was there to welcome them; only a couple rows of uncomfortable looking chairs, and a vid screen in the upper corner playing static. Glancing to the left they could see the narrow stairwell that likely lead up t the control center, and across the room was an elevator with a small console next to its door.

"Geez, where the hell is everyone? Off to lunch? Hey, wait for just a moment. Gonna go grab something just in case something is wrong." She says, before running back to the ship to get her pistol.

"Yeah... Something is very wrong..." Dak murmurs, narrowing his eyes and looking around the room as he takes his rifle off his back and holds it in his hands, his facial visor coming up.

Jacintha says nothing, but readies herself as well, whipping out her electrogun and standing closer to the nearest wall.

As Mai made her way back from the ship, she noticed movement out of the corner of her eye. Looking through the clear plastic wall of the walkway, she spotted to people in mechanic's coveralls heading towards the stern of the ship. As she noticed them, they spotted her as well. While she wasn't close enough to make out their facial features, one of them at least paused to wave.

It really becomes apparent what's going on to Mai now, and she runs as fast as she can, so she can lock down the ship and grab her gear.

"Mai? What's goin' on back there babe?" Jacintha calls, after not seeing the two mechanics. She keeps her place, sticking with Vorlin and Dak for whatever's about to happen.

"Dark do a scan of the area. Let's see what we're dealing with." He says as he does his own scan of the area.

Mai reached the controls and initiated a ship-wide lockdown. Suddenly all the doors leading into the Atlas were magnetically locked, and would only open with her passcode. Flipping a switch, one of the view screens flickered on, and she could see the two mechanics at the rear of the ship doing there best to get it open. After a few futile attempts, they seemed to give up and moved off.

Meanwhile, Vosk and Dark's helmets were giving some interesting readouts. First the elevator had powered up, and was apparently moving. There was also a heat signature coming from the stairwell... that seemed to be getting stronger. The sudden sound of feet on metal greeted the three remaining crewmember's ears, as someone was coming down from the control station.

Jacintha's electrogun is raised and at the ready, though she lowers it briefly to fish out her pouch of caltrops. Sending half a dozen barbs into the approaching person's foot doesn't seem like the best idea without giving him time to plead a case first, she decides, but she still raises her gun anyways.

(Ha, knew they were gonna try to jack it!)

Mai reaches into her drawer and pulls out a laser pistol and some extra battery cells, before exiting the ship, and letting it go back to it's locked-down mode. Only her password would open it up again. After making sure the ship is secure from attempted theft, she once again makes her way to the others.

Dak raises his rifle and aims at the stairs, eyes narrowing as he waits for the first head to pop over the stairs.

The steady footfalls continued to grow closer as the person descending the stairs made their appearance. A young human woman with sandy-blond hair, and blue eyes, in a grey and orange coverall that hung loosely on her thin frame trotted down the steep stairs, holding a datapad which she was apparently too absorbed in reading to notice the guns pointing at her. "Good day, and welcome to Fortuna Station. I'm Sara, and I just need to get some... personal... information?" Upon looking up from her screen, her eyes widened, and her mouth went dry as she tried her best not to scream. Sadly her best wasn't good enough, and a shrill screech was soon echoing through the small lounge. To her credit, she avoided soiling herself.

Lowering his gun he looks at the others "Allright guns down false alarm." He says then turns to the women "I am very sorry miss. We're all a bit on edge after the trip here." He says in a very clam voice.

Jacintha hardly buys it, but lowers her gun anyways. "Yes ma'am. Sorry to have scared you." She says, still with a very Jacintha-ish plan in her mind. Bumping up next to Dak, she whispers a few near silent words. "Something's up. I could rush her and keep her restrained til we know what it is."

Mai rushes up and sees them lowering their guns. "What's going on? Who are you? And why were those people trying to enter my ship?"

Without taking his eyes off the women he addresses Mia. "Calm down Mai we still don't know if this is what's supposed to happen here. Remember we've never been here before."

"Hold it. Not until we find out what's happening." Dak whispers back, his eyes fixed on Sara. He, however, doesn't lower his rifle, keeping it trained on the woman.

"My name is Sara, I'm the director of the hanger, and those men were just preparing to start the unloading procedures!" she stammered, eyes fixed on the gun pointed at her.

[Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, things came up in real life that had to be tended to.]

"Unloading what? The cargo from the ship or the ship from the station? Who are you, really? And why is the station completely empty?" Dak growls.

"That's where the unloading dock is on your ship, isn't it? And' I'm sorry, we're a little short staffed!" she cried.

"Sorry Sara, I'm so sorry for frightening you." Jacintha repeats, stepping carefully towards the girl after setting her gun back in her belt. "We're on edge. Would you mind if I just patted you down a little bit?"
