Silent Stars (In Game)

Jay races to stick with Mai, treating her with an escort as she lashes any of the staff who come too close with her bio whip. She's silent, trying to better her focus so she can keep an eye out for any signs of escape. Getting another one of her Jacintha approved bright ideas, she shouts to Vorlin and Dak. "I bet one of these guys would know how to unlock the floor. Try to keep any important looking ones alive, unless they burst out into slugs."

 

[Khorne]

He quickly put the rest of his gear on. "Alright Dak. Throw an gernade out there. It might thin the all out." He says as he starts unloading into the mass. Then turning to Jacintha and nosing to Dak "Ask him. He was in special forces and plus I wasn't trained for engineering." He says while reloading his shotgun.

 

[Archangel99]

"Something tells me they're all slugs!" Dak yells as he continues firing, stopping momentarily to toss an incendiary grenade into the crowd. "I could try setting my gun to stun, but there's far too many to effectively retrieve the stunned ones. We'll have to run for it! There's too many of them!" He growls, eyes and rifle barrel darting from one head to another as he aims to blow their heads off.

 

[Ecnalab]

Dak's constant fire kept the hanger workers pinned down behind cover. While they may be acting zombies, they clearly weren't dumb enough to try and advance under a hail of laser-fire. At least, not until Dak pulled the trigger only to hear an slight click... his gun was out of ammo. As the workers began to peek out from their hiding places, Jay and Mai scanned the various halls and corridors that lead out of the main hanger. Fortunately, the place seemed to have been set up to be friendly to newcomers, with most of the halls boasting signs denoting where they lead to. One hall had a sign on the wall that said workshop, another said engineering, and a much larger hall simply said mess.

"Mess hall." Jay whispers. "Have you ever met a slug? They freakin live for eating. Throw a box of dozen donuts in with those little scumbags, and they're down and out in an instant. Used to do it back home with crumbs. Fuckin' gross, but cool."

 

[Khorne]

"I don't care right know jay. Let's just get going!" He says as he pulls out his magnum and fires. "We need to get to a comm station and get a call out to some firends of mine they come and help us out. If we live that long that is!!" He says as he fires again.

 

[Woider]

"We need to find a way that is not a dead end. I'd assume the mess hall leads to more places than just the hangars... ugh, what I wouldn't give for a holo-map of this place!" Mai frowns, before saying. "Fuck it, we need to go somewhere now! To the mess hall."

 

[Archangel99]

"I was thinking engineering. We could probably find something useful in there!" Dak says, throwing the empty clip at another slug before reloading, but not firing.

 

[Woider]

"Just not sure that place leads anywhere else. The Mess Hall would logically have more entrances than just to the hangars, but Engineering? I don't know." She says, before firing her pistol into the throng of addled mechanics.

 

[Archangel99]

"Tools can be used as weapons too, Mai! Just in case we run out of ammo, which we eventually will. Then we're gonna need some melee stuff or something like a nail gun!" He says, keeping an eye on the slugs as he pulls out his laser sword and activates it, the red blade hissing to life.

 

[jasmac]

"You ever even used a nail gun wise guy? You can't just pull the trigger and pop em, you've gotta put pressure on the muzzle and squeeze, and it's not gonna fire at a distance either."

 

[Archangel99]

"It was a freaking example, Jace. God knows what they've got in there. I'm sure there's more advanced stuff than a bloody nail gun!"

 

[Woider]

"Gah! I'm gonna scout ahead... I'm not much use in a firefight, anyway. For all we know we're surrounded. I'm going to Engineering, if there are slugs there, I'm coming back and we high-tail it to the Mess!" She says, before bolting off as fast as she can without getting overly fatigued.

 

[Khorne]

"I'll go with you Mia. If we get found you'll need some fire power!" He says as he follows behind her easily matching her speed as they head to engendering.

 

[jasmac]

"Dak, I'm gonna try to clear a path." Jacintha calls out to him, while switching her bio whip out for the electrogun, and then charging up and firing jolts of electric energy into any slug zombie that dares to rear its head.

 

[Archangel99]

"Alright!" He says, readying his sword to fend off any incoming slugs.

 

[Ecnalab]

Running around the corner, and down a short hall, Mai and Vosk found themselves staring at the beginnings of the engineering deck, a labyrinth of winding passages, scattered tools, and half finished machines. More importantly, the place looked completely abandoned, and featured a blast door at the end of the hall they ad just emerged from that could be locked from their side.

Meanwhile, Jay fired round after round at the mechanics who were occasionally poking their heads and arms out of cover, yet making no move to advance. As she kept firing, wondering what they were waiting for, realization dawned on her. They trying to get her to expend her ammo, and after a few more shots she realized that her current clip was almost empty.

 

[Archangel99]

"Jay, stop firing. They're waiting for your clip to finish. I say we wait till they come out, then fire, stop when they duck for cover, and then take pot shots when they're poking their heads up to check. Once they stop poking their heads up, we make a break for the mess!" Dak whispers into her ear.

 

[Woider]

"Come on, Vosk... anything you can find that'll be helpful, grab it and get back to the others!" She says, looking for any tools that might have spare energy cells.

 

[jasmac]

"You think I can't see that? I'm pretty sure it's just time to skidaddle our sweet asses on over there. Any slug pops out on us on the way, we pop em right back." Jay says, stopping her fire.

 

[Ecnalab]

A sudden splattering sound caught Dak and Jay's attention as a sudden rain of tiny green creatures came tumbling down out of the collapsed walkway tube. Once more, the tiny terrors began their inexorable march toward the two; though this time spread much more thinly.

 

[Archangel99]

"On second thought... Run for it!" He yells, grabbing Jay's arm and breaking off towards the mess hall.

 

[Khorne]

Looking around the engendering bay. The blast doors catch Vosk's attention and he walks up to them. "Hey look at this. These blast doors are sealed from our side. I wounded what's behind it?" He says looking for a way to open the doors.

 

[jasmac]

Jay doesn't have to be told twice, and is immediately hauling ass with Dak, bio whip drawn incase anything unpleasant decided to block their path.

 

[Ecnalab]

Searching the wall, Vosk spots the control panel and flips the switch. The doors open with a hiss and he finds himself looking down a long hall with reinforced walls... the kind of door that would lead to a power core.

 

[Khorne]

"Hey Mika. I think this is the way to the power core." Vosk says as he readies his weapon and starts to walk down the hall way.

 

[Woider]

"Who the hell is Mika? My name's Mai, Vosk!" She says, abandoning her search for spare cells to follow Vosk down the hallway.

 

[Khorne]

"Sorry!" He yells from down the hall as he continues to walk down the hall.

As Jay and Dak ran, a loud thud caught their attention. Out of the ruined walkway tube slid Sara, landing on her feet amidst the swarm of space slugs. She had stripped herself of her remaining clothes and stood fully nude, an erect ten inch long penis bobbed between her legs excitedly as the tentacles sprouting from the large slug on her back writhed in the air as she saw the two crewmates. raising a hand, she cried out, "Get them!" Immediately, the remaining mechanics all broke cover and charged, giving chase as the two of them ran through the hall that Mai and Vosk had taken. Soon enough, they turned a corner just in time to see Mai and Vosk walking through an open blast door.

 

[Archangel99]

"They're coming! Shut the door after us!" Dak yells, glancing back to check if Jay was behind, and how close the slugs were.
