I don't think that's much of an achievement to be fair.
Depends from what angle one might look at it.
From the perspective of a god it absolutely makes sense to amass followers and also bind them to you as close as possible. But once you go down the
other rabbit hole (convocation) for me it changes everything.
If I remember it correctly, Tira was stated to not do soulbinding pacts and instead just grants mortals in her service access to a small portion of her powers - hence paladins.
When you'd choose to loan money from someone, would you rather go to a creditor with fair deals and easier opt-out options or would you rather pick the gag contract from the loanshark that takes everything from you?
A subtle change might do all the difference. At least that's how I'm looking at it. But I also tend to be VERY mistrustful usually and try everything to not become dependent of others if possible.
