i'm kinda surprised there wasn't a thread like this in here
anyway
it's probably a stupid gripe but i'm always getting a frown from reading parsers like "wrench length" or "baseball/golfball sized". i mean, hey maybe there were(or still are) wrenches from Belhran or minotaurs, but im not rly believin on the sports part.

So out of curiosity, what would be the type of male you'd be interested in?

I mean, this thread might as well be constructive.

Fuck we really gotta get rid of those. They're just left overs from copy/pasting TiTS code.

'Baby bag' maybe it's just not in my lexicon but I get a goofy grin every time I read that.
Kiyoko stating clearly that she is not a maiden, but I'm can't tell her I am a chaste boy/girl and only do this for her!
I want the mirror stance so I can get abilities right away but I have never beaten Frost Giant before level 4, normally 5.
Why do people without balls get blue balls?

That's all the petty stuff I can think of at the moment.

I mean, everyone knows the sport of golf was invented when Bullroarer Took knocked Chief Golfimbol's head off and sent it flying into a hole in the ground with his wooden club, so "golfball-sized" is perfectly reasonable.
Nice reference. Of course if you asked her, Arona would probably say the damned hobbit was cheating or he'd never have won.

I want the mirror stance so I can get abilities right away but I have never beaten Frost Giant before level 4, normally 5.
My motivation to restart with a second Champion was to do a magic-centric build to take advantage of the system, once I found it with my first character. There's gonna be a huge amount of game in the future so I don't mind having to wait a few levels but I think you could probably beat her with attacks that target her Resolve (not Tease, she no-sells that) at an earlier level than you can whittle down all that HP. Haven't tried it myself though.

Why do people without balls get blue balls?
The term may not be apt but you don't need balls to get sexually frustrated, which is really what the effect means.

As for the topic question itself.... eh, I got nothing right now that isn't some flavor of 'I can't wait for X to be implemented' and I can be patient with all that. Well, one thing during the hornet hive quest with a female Champion, there isn't currently an option that lets you clear the fight with the queen without losing virginity. Since I'm trying to keep full virginity for the character on my ongoing save (in case there's alternate or unique scenes that check for it, like the recent Evelyn content) I had to do some temporary alchemical hacks to finish the quest. Once magicocks get implemented that's not going to be an issue and for the time being it's more how I'm playing than an issue with the game per se. But yeah, that's all I can think of.

So out of curiosity, what would be the type of male you'd be interested in?

  • Physically speaking:
I'm not into bara or femboys (but I kinda like twinks and biseinen). I avoid "I iz muscled mountain manly man, worship me" and puny "kid" or "cute" types. Moreso if they're bald, bearded, suffer from hirsutism (I guess this also applies to furries in a sense, heh!), sport hyper assets, are too tall or too short compared to my character, happen to be muzzled/beaked/non-bipeds, have certain skin colours/a tan, are bland xxx-mimis (especially canine/feline ones) or elemental-based beings...

I am okay with any body type as long as it's not overtly ripped, boney or the character is a lard blob. The words "chiseled" or "perfect" aren't ones that define types I like. These are monsterfolk and "furries" I'm interested in.
  • Psychologically speaking:
I dislike ones that deal with sob stories, abuse, stereotypes and kinkshaming. I wish for cuddlefucks! This may give a clue on what I like, even if it applies to TiTS.

As it stands now, out of the sexable characters the only one I'm only vaguely interested is Elaril. If I go "tralala, I'm not reading", the list might include Hinata, Quintillus, the Kitsune Protector and, maaaybe, Benny. (Just for kicks, the female list would include the Alraune Herald, Aturgia, Jen and, probably, Etheryn and Hethia).

If anyone's interested, this is how I see sexable males when it comes to my interests:

Without counting Lyric and characters with bad end-only scenes...
  • Argoth, Centaur Pack, Crazy Horse, Jotun male, Imps, leothran village men, Orc Thane, Orc Warrior - Dislike characters and looks, rarely trigger sex scenes as a result.
  • Garret - Dislike character and looks, triggered special scenes out of curiosity but didn't like them.
  • Sugo, Berwyn, Demontaur, June, Pavo, Lupine Archer, Brint, Behemoth, Jin-Jin, Elf boy, Ninian, Rroljar, Vaush, Avanai Rider - Like characters, don't really like looks, rarely trigger sex scenes as a result.
  • Sexy Male Statue, Dale, Boomer, Keros - No strong feelings about characters or looks, rarely trigger sex scenes as a result.
  • Takahiro - Relatively like character and looks, dislike him being a drunkard with a large-ish knob, rarely trigger sex scenes as a result.
  • Quintillus, Svern - like characters and looks, dislike sex scenes and large-ish knobs.
  • Demon Psion, Kitsune Protector, Kitsune Spellblade - Relatively like characters and looks, no strong feelings about sex scenes.
  • Hinata, Elaril - like characters and looks, no strong feelings about their sex scenes.
I don't remember having triggered Prince Philander scenes because I was too focused on not losing the parley fight, but I like him.

Ryn cage and bluebells cycle.

I love Their story, and their involvement with the politics of the land, but I hate that I have to micromanage their Lust when I'm traveling. Like, I have a slutkitty for a goddamn reason. I can at least tell Brienne to go pester slutkitty.

Honestly, I wish I could just give Them items to lose the cock so the chasity cage falls off, and give it right back with a blue egg.

I also hate how little time Kinu now has. Half of her scenes give me "Cats in the Cradle" vibes and I didnt ask for all these feels.

Yeah, both Etheryn's and the Champion's blue balls effects cycle too quickly if you ask me. How frustrated can one possibly be after not getting off for one whole day? That seems like something that could increase with corruption.

Agreed on wanting more diverse boys, too. Not that I don't like beefcakes or femboys but those shouldn't be the only two types you see - perfectly average builds are perfectly fine! That's probably the fault of the subject matter; porn material usually works with archetypes and those two are easy for everyone, including people who are trying to write them even if they're not particularly attracted to them, to understand.

But for me personally it's more boyish energy that does it. Brint for instance could have a perfectly normal build and I'd still like him for that cute boyishness he has about him. Garret is cute in that way too even if the writing lays it on way too thick; honestly my favorite thing about him is that he's bad at sex but thinks he's amazing at it. It's such a boy-his-age sort of detail. And then June wanting to get in shape but being embarrassed that he's kinda weak is a very boyish thing, too, something I'd find cute even if he wasn't a trap.

Yeah, the wiki gives the math behind it; (40 - (Libido/Libido Max)*33) hours since last orgasm causes the effect and it only triggers if you've got 10+ Libido in the first place. Ryn ignores the minimum Libido thing and it'll keep happening even if it's below 10. She's got a magical chastity cage which probably explains why she's so constantly horny regardless, since the entire point of it was to torture her and make her debase herself in front of her sister. I'm going to really enjoy delivering some payback there.

KERROOOOOOS!!!! He could've at least TOLD the player that freeing your family would trap them in the orb without you for 10+ years, but nooooo! He had to keep it a secret until it was too late! And here I was considering giving my precious soul to him after all! Stupid Trickster  I wouldn't have minded a throwaway line where it's like "you lived with floof fam for 10 years and were very happy" but I guess he's JUST GOTTA BE LIKE THAT! I'll keep my soul to myself, tyvm  you have BLUNDERED my good sir, and I will be keeping my soul to MYSELF.

EDIT: After thinking it through more rationally it'd also be acceptable if there was some explanation as to why you living with your family as they're being extracted isn't possible, then I could've at least visited them one last time to give them an ample, teary-eyed warning before going through with it, cause you living with your fam for those 10 years would remove a lot of the emotional impact the scene otherwise has. What makes me mad is the UNNECESSARY deception. If he wanted my soul then he wouldn't want to aggravate the character too much because it'd have to be freely given, he's not a demon. He just pulled the wool over my eyes for no good reason. Oh well, maybe he didn't see that coming either. In fact that's probably the explanation. God dammit what a waste of a post this was.

There's a part in the Odyssey where Athena is helping Odysseus disguise himself so that he can check out the situation at home and in his interactions with her he gets a bit cheeky (as in "if you're willing to help me why didn't you help me get home sooner?") and her response is that he was always going to get home eventually so she didn't feel any intervention was necessary. She literally could not understand why 10 years would be a big deal.

Garret isn’t gay but he’s absolutely gay.

Observer, Kiyoko walks, talks, and fucks hetero. Y u no gay awoo?

Hahaha but no really, Garret being hetero only still perplexed me.

Seriously though.

I hope I make evilSis completely neutered and devoid of any desirable physical qualities. Totes unrealistic expectation, I know, but I feel it's the most extreme punishment to the fully corrupted.

Outside of, death.

I get why the bitch interactions are gated female and lupine, he goes from neutral to backseat mommy issues so fast your head spins, but I have to agree that it's frustrating in a perplexing way to gate his drunken hookups and casual sex like that. They're very neutrally written (I think the drunken lay mentions the champion's gash all of once or twice, it'd be trivial open them up) and he's not at all squeamish about the champion having their own knob.

Eh, he's still a God, and a conniving one at that, I think he'd know how to control his impulses. He's not some prank-loving imp, he's a higher being with a motive, and no amount of humor derived from tragedy is worth jeopardizing the ownership of the Champion's Soul. There's a reason why Kasyrra makes herself wet just thinking about claiming it for herself. We just don't know what the exact reason is yet.

This one's not about the game itself, but last week I tried to open Savin's worklog and my computer crashed multiple times in a row, and kept doing so for a couple days, even after I closed the document.

I don't know if I'd class any of these as gripes, but I love Kiyoko's content so much, and I know that the ability to free her was just recently added so maybe these will be addressed.

What I'd say my first gripe is, is when Kiyoko and the MC acknowledge how great it is that they can sleep together and then wake up with each other finally after freeing Kiyoko from the Astral plane. However, after sleeping together the MC is dumped outside of the house without any content to address them leaving or waking up together. I'd love to wake up and maybe having morning sex, cuddle, have breakfast together, help get the family started on their day, etc.

I'm also a little frustrated but the fact that even though they're now in the Prime Material plane instead of the Astral Plane, the MC is still treated like an outsider. Kiyoko's called the MC husband/consort, so she's acknowledged that they're spouses herself and freely tells him she loves him. I'd like to see it as though father/husband is welcomed home instead of just as a visitor passing through.

I don't know, maybe I'm playing CoC2 wrong, but dammit if Kiyoko's storyline didn't have me fall in love with her and want to be faithful to her in game, so maybe that's why I'm so frustrated by some of these things. I'd personally love content about the MC spending time and helping build up their home (not just the family size). Helping to build/refurbish the building, help with chores, learn about Kitsune culture since they're married to a Kitsune after all. Maybe even learn the Naginata and use it in combat. Learn how to cast spells from Kiyoko? I play as basically a Bard, so I personally could see a desire to learn any of those things to enhance my performances or stories. Maybe even have content where they help deal with Kiyoko's tasks for Keros and the Cherry Blossom Throne.

Another gripe I guess, is that I don't see a spot to know how many children the MCs had with Kiyoko in total. She has nine tails with my MC, so over 32 at least I believe is what the wiki states, but I know we went far past 40 at least.

I'd also wish for additional content for the MC to spend time with their other children beyond just Kinu. I know that would be a ton of work, but the Kiyoko/Kinu content really hits the family aspect home, so as a father myself, it seems very, very odd that I know next to nothing about the scores of other children beyond Kinu (I know she's the first-born and would have preferential treatment, but it just seems odd that the MC can't intentionally spend time with any of their other children, or isn't even acknowledged by them or acknowledges them personally).

Sorry, I know this is a lot and kinda moved beyond gripes in some cases, but dammit if I don't play just for Kiyoko's part of CoC2 alone.

It damn near killed me when Kinu says that "One day you just stopped coming". Granted she says that the Kiyoko divined that the MC was okay and that they were probably trying to free them, but the only thing running through my head the whole time was "but it was literally one day for me?! I Warpstoned to the Kitsune clan! How did I lose 10 years with them?! It wasn't intentional, I didn't stop coming intentionally!". I know it's sappy, but I actually cried, as a father, to think that he/I lost 10 years with his wife/daughter/children.

Next update you'll be able to have small wake up blurbs if you sleep with her at home or while at camp. Extended activities may not be possible, but they may be considered; basically there are two issues with this kind of thing: the sleep activity cycle is already packed as it is: level up, night encounters, dreams, wake up, etc, etc. The order of operations is fixed and adding something else to it may cause problems. Secondly, with so many things, it's easy for the sleep cycle to be very "busy", which Kiyoko and Kinu already do for people who just want to refill their bars. People feel obligated to interact with them, which can take a very long time comparatively.

I'm also a little frustrated but the fact that even though they're now in the Prime Material plane instead of the Astral Plane, the MC is still treated like an outsider.

The sense of alienation is real and intentional. You will never be a not-Japanese, can never be a not-Japanese, and will never be a not-Japanese no matter what happens, no matter what you do. You can marry a not-Japanese woman and get a not-Japanese passport, and everyone will smile and be impeccably polite; and as far as they're concerned you're the foreigner with the not-Japanese passport. You are welcomed, but made to remember your status as a guest. Even in your own home, with a family that wholeheartedly loves you, you can never be, will never be fully one of them. And in this world, it's more than a matter of the body, spirit or culture; it digs right down into the metaphysical. You are made to feel keenly aware of this when kitsune speak not-Japanese in your presence, or you cannot read the language and someone has to translate for you, or you make some silly social blunder. Not even a god can make you one of them, or at least not until the reverse mortgage on your soul runs out. You have never felt the hunger which has dominated their entire existences and has shaped their entire society.

It is an intentional emotional arm-twist.

Another gripe I guess, is that I don't see a spot to know how many children the MCs had with Kiyoko in total.

I may or may not get on this. While I understand the desire to know this, it also breaks the immersion in the same way the nursery does and makes it all sound very clinical. You can open your savefile and look for kiyoko.numKits or a similar flag.

This is intentional for the same reason we do not want nursery child interactions; no half-measures. Either a full-fledged character, or a number. The longer explanation is a bit more complex, but that's about the long and short of it. It's a decision that I have my own doubts about, but I'm not the creative control in this regard. If you want to have meaningful interactions with your other children, Kinu vignettes are your thing.

It damn near killed me when Kinu says that "One day you just stopped coming". I totally get that. My brother-in-law is American while his wife is Japanese. He's told me countless stories bout life when he lived in Japan with her, how he was Gaijin and would always be Gaijin. He was okay with that as he even said, he was a Gaijin. I remember when I met her the first time how shocked she was about the amount of knowledge I had of Japanese history, how much I loved Shamisen music and Sumo, and I actually liked many J-Pop musicians she did. It never occurred to her that a Westerner could like or even know about things from her country, and in some cases in more detail than she did.

I think what got me the most, about my previous statement about being an "outsider" is that I/he needs to knock on the door to his own family's home. I know my brother-in-law could enter and leave his home in Japan without seeking permission from his wife.

I totally get what you're saying, and completely understand the whole Gaijin aspect of Kitsunese culture, but I'd just like to be able to enter and leave my/his wife's house without needing to knock, even help with small things like helping around the house once in a while. Love what you've done, so don't take any of what I've said as criticism. I know that what I wish for, is way outside the scope of CoC2, just consider it a high complement that you wrote a character and storyline that got me so invested that I basically wish for the ability to focus solely on that part and to hell with Kas's storyline.

If you have her in your party, you won't need to knock on the door.

I may add a bit where you can just walk in if you're formally married to her, but we'll see if that makes it in.

Adding her to the party isn't in the game yet right? Just want to make sure I'm not missing it as I caught dialogue earlier where Miko I think said something like "when your mother is away you need to provide for the kits" or something like that. I assumed you were just laying the groundwork for that.

Also, just out of curiosity, wouldn't Miko and Mai back off of the MC if they know he's married to Kiyoko Otomo, and with kits with her? Or do they just not care about Kiyoko's status as a den mother? I know Komari tells the MC that Kiyoko's standing in the Old Country isn't what it once was since her lineage went through her sister now, but since everyone in the colony loves Kinu I'd figure they would believe that it would give them legitimacy with the Cherry Blossom Throne.
