Champs only throwing back what nanako is giving, and the animosity stems from the fact that when you have hime kinu he's still acting like a suicidal samurai looking for a war to die in, so the champ is just angry that he isn't putting their daught/fiance above that. The champ does want to like their future son in law if you read what is said.

Yeah I know, but then that causes the issue of needing to have every scene account for both versions of if you do or don't, which doesn't seem that out if place considering how many other fox things have to account for 2(with rindos I assume 3) variations. So the best default is top be mad at him, maybe the champ will be less mad at him as kinuQuest progresses.

I'd more say the the best default is for the champ's character to be neutral in their descriptions of how they interact. Maybe somewhat antagonistic, but overt hostility and clear anger should not be the default for the Champ's interactions. The only default assumed emotion I really think should appear in scenes, beyond near-neutrality or beyond scenes where the player can choose how the Champ acts (i.e. "fuck off"), is lust, and that's only for a sex scene and its leadup. I ain't an authority, but that's my personal opinion. If an author wants a series of choices which can determine how the champ feels, and then writes accordingly, sure, but while the champ is technically a separate character rather than being us, they're malleable that most feelings should just be how we think the Champ feels, rather than what we get told to feel.

I have talked with Tobs about toning that down in future content.

Yeah I hope it's a bit less aggro too, finally got kinuQuest to proc on my newest save and sheesh the champ was a bit agressive in one of the situation talks With Miko after the first attack, I get the champ was mad but buh god.

Off from the kinu/kitsune topic, I do have a gripe with CoC2. I wish there were more different body types of NPCs.

Like for example, the women who have busts are either busty amazons or voluptuous hourglass. Like they all seems to have pretty much same body types. I have read through all the codex of races and they mention like the average breasts size are A-D except for orcs, marefolks, and cowgirls. But literally every female npcs with busts have DD+ cups 눈_눈. So the commonfolk doesn't exist and literally everyone is exception to the rule?

There aren't a lot of busts of men so can't really comment on that. But having lean muscular figure and traps seems to be the pattern for guys. Not much variation in there either but there aren't many of them in first place.

I know it's a porn game and the game is like large is justice where big dick, butt, boob reign supreme. But like I appreciate boobs of all sizes and different body types have different appeals. Isn't the game about providing variety?

Sorry but what are you talking about? very few female characters in the game break from the average listed in the codex . Like you're deliberately ignoring every female character in the game with small to average breasts, like...

Ethryn
Atugia
Kiyoko
Azzy
Agni
Jen
Janeen
Lusamine
Gytha
Daliza

Just to name a few.

And Ryn and Kiyoko both take effort on your part to reach D+, also if course most men are muscular it's a world that requires it.

I admit Ryn, Atugia, Agni, Kiyoko, Jen, Janeen, Lusamine, Gytha, and Janeen are within average of their race. Janeen is in average considering lupine as a race averages C-EE. But Azzy and Daliza aren't.

Azzy is supposed to have F cup breasts while in hive knight form and H cups in bimbo form. The bust art doesn't seem to reflect that. Also, according to what happened to her hive (the corruption/Kas demon shenanigans) and the codex for hornets, she is not the average. Beefolks are supposed to have larger breasts than hornet due to producing a lot of honey.

As for Daliza, she is also not the average because average breast size for boreal elves are B-D. Looking at her bust art, she is at least E-F cup and even checking her code for breast size, she is supposed to be G cup( i know those data aren't the most accurate and their writing/descriptions are the ones I should read but still).

Now I do know there are several others that wasn't mentioned that are within their average considering their race like tamarind, kohaku, rindo, etc. I really shouldn't have said all but I'm saying MOST female characters all have pretty much same figures: amazonian or slim hourglass. My point is that there's not much variety in body shapes.

I do like the fact with Ryn she can have a variety of body types: waifish, top heavy, bottom heavy, and hourglass. Another reason she's my favorite.

As for men though, not everyone is fighting in battlefields. Their occupation/life should reflect the different body types the people have.

Like those with a job with lot of manual works can have burlier body, people in scholarly field can have very little muscle and perhaps on the thin side, and people in upper parts of society might be on a chubbier & softer side since they eat good.

There aren't a lot of male npcs in this game in the first place so I can kind of understand lack of variety in male body types though.

Regarding muscularity - nutrition factors in significantly, you can't get massively muscular with training or hard labor alone - in pre-modern times, it would be very rare for someone to be so muscular, even if physical labor was more common, simply due to the food available. The "ripped" appearance, in particular, necessitates extremely low body fat percentage and a state of severe dehydration, and cannot be maintained indefinitely.

That said, it's a porn game, and abs are hot.

But we never get to expirience/focus on the male chest. We never get to grind ourselves on Elyon washboard abs, play/suckle on Brints titties or rest our head back to listen to Junes heartbeat. Which is a damn shame if you ask me. At least I may finally get to do so with Berwyn and maybe Liulfr.

But I want more of it.

I hope someone picks up the Frost Pupper and June gets more along with the Lupine scouts after Khor'minos is done. We know next to nothing about the Frost Pupper except that she is deep into pet play, and that she is half Lupine and Frost Giant (The obvious.)

Not having Aileh and Lusina as possible companions was a missed opportunity since they have the potential for it.

Lots of characters have the potential to become companions. They lack the writers and/or writing time to pull it off, to say nothing of team archetypes. It's a shame, but there are only so many hours in the writing day and so many zots in game development.

As Savin pointed out right in the primary design doc (and Tobs created an entire topic to clarify) there are Reasons that companions were limited to one-per established writer: It's a huge undertaking since they need to be a participant (at least potentially) in every major part of the game, interact at various points with all the other companions and have enough content in both gameplay and writing terms to justify their constant presence. Or to put it more succinctly, 'no bubble waifus'.

Since everyone eligible but Savin (and the unique case of B) only gets one character, that naturally restricts them to whichever character they feel the most passionate about, or came up with first, or whatever else contributed to why they picked this character over that character. I'm sure that in some other hypothetical leg of the Trousers of Time we could have gotten a different set of companions but that's not the world we live in.

Plus isn't Lusina Savin's character? 4 companions would transcend the normal level of hubris.

Also, come on now, we already have 2, arguably 4 companions that are more barren than a lot of major NPCs. Do you think the game could handle anymore of them?

Add to that Agni and Azzy (well, when it comes to her vagina).
But I was talking in terms of content, not pregnancy.
Or in case Azzy and Atugia, lack of defining character. I still could not tell ypu what makes them them even if you pointed a gun at me.

Y'know, I'm mildly miffed that there's no option to have your character be addressed as an enby.

Still feels weird to have kitsune and kura be in the pick a fight option for a kitsune champ. Also a what?

Random silly gripe since I like to play mage characters - Sanctified Gladius doesn't have the catalyst tag but the new Flametongue Blade does. Catalyst apparently only affects accuracy and crit right? So why does Flametongue Blade have catalyst tag with no accuracy or crit stats, but the Gladius does have crit stats but no catalyst tag. Mysteries upon mysteries. o_o
