That makes zero sense because a lot of the characters already are voyeur focused with little to no control from the player, seems hardly fair to single out Bubblelords character even though like the writer said it’s gonna be integral storywise for his upcoming expansion.

Takahiro did have another job: Seeker/one of the few kitsune sent out on quests. The issue isn't that he makes booze, it's that he is the possessor of an artifact that lets him put any liquid into it and make a perfect alcohol specific to him. This is why the PC sharing glasses with him finds it tastes amazing. Takahiro's expansion outlines his past, including just how vulnerable he was, at the time he found that gourd.
Again, this stuff is well-discussed and I'm fairly certain this fact has even been known on the forum. People who don't want to read or wait aren't what I'm worried about. Takahiro, at the time his quest is implemented, will look far more full and rounded scope-wise. The voyeur scenes won't go away, either, because it's the only way that people can get content for some characters. Like, at all. A lot of his content is a compromise that I made to give people ANY angle at some of them (such as Azami will actually be someone you can fuck once the threesome between her, you, and Takahiro is added) given how Observer planned and wanted a lot of this to be.
I don't care dude. All the times I've been told how much you guys hate my character, you're STILL sitting over here wanting more content and changes to him. If you hate him so much, just fucking disable his voyeur scenes and don't go to his tile. I write and make characters the way I want.
The scenes are a toggle not because they're "removeable"; as I said, they still happen behind the scenes even if turned off. This isn't tracked mechanically but is factual, as these all provide context for his future quest and progression. I made them able to be turned off because they are the only event that happens while roaming the den AFAIK. That's it.
And he ISN'T immune to consequence. This is artificial/constructed in your own head due to current content limitations; his questline is something that is triggered once you disable or encounter one of 4 of those scenes (specific ones that relate to his problem), talked to him, and resolved/finished the den's main quest in favor of Keros OR rescued Kiyoko (as both make you seem the right fit to Komari). I won't disclose more because I want it to be a surprise, but those requirements alone will put Takahiro on a timeline as long as the player is invested/trying to finish his content. So stop assuming like you always do.
Honestly, even if I dislike the character I do want to see his story through, I can only think of one character whom's questline i couldnt get the time of day infront of a damn clock, which is Kas, ironically. Yeah I aired some negative grievances about the drunk fox but I do want to see if he can become the warrior he bragged himself to be, sounds like the perfect excuse to have a sparrable fox who isnt so far up his own countrys ass you can smell the fucking Sakura blossoms. Also because this thread to me was the perfect excuse to offload my issues to get back to being normal about him.
While I see nothing wrong with seeing more of a character through Takahiros lenze, is there anything really preventing someone from writing content where champions specifically interacts with them without having Takahiro involved (excluding Azami who seems to be tied to Takahiros crotch). Like, what we have is fine, but it just seems like a half measure to provide fans of Hinata and rest with somerhing.
Why are you so adamant to make sure that people know that "Takahiro fucks!" Good for him, most people just do not care. The voyeur scene (as in content where champion has no involvement with participants at hand) are removable. If player does not want to see them, they do not have to. The "He fucks thots because real life bro" is cool,whatever, but you gave us the option for us to completely ignore them. Or did you? Are you not just now backpedaling on your statement that that scenes happen regardless if I disable them or not? So can it ever trully be said that we can escape "Takahiroverse" and all of its future content at hand? So in the end, you forced my hand here Bubs, I am all in for the ride.
And here we have the crux of half of your problems. You have all of these great "ideas" in your head, but that is all they are, ideas. I can only judge with what I have at hand and all scenes that he is involved with are either him fucking chicks or getting away scot free by screwing over people. Not much to go off. All the depth of your characters seemingly has all been tied down somewhere where no one can see it .

It is you who choose to write a likable jackass (a hard archetype to write) that most NPC ingame claim is a "a unfortunate failure wasting his life away" while every scene you do seems to involve "wow, look how wacky/sexy this drunk is!". While I get what you are going for since some of them do have this sad undertone, most of it is undercut by mixing it with voyeur and stuff where he gets on top and in control of things. And since you expect me to take it seriously, I am going to take it seriously. So, maybe you could have taken some of your future plot points and crammed in his initial release. Maybe that would have added depth where he now sorely lacks.
Also, "real life sucks" is such a non argument and is basically on same level as "I could care less". Because:
a) That term can be used to justify many things. From racist and sexist remarks to just bad writing.

b) Most of your characters seem to be immune to "Real life sucks" argument. Do you know what people in old times did to people that tried to rape them or joined the cults? Certainly not just a half assed "beating" and/or pat on the back that game offers.
c) What even is "real life" in your context? Since I do not think that most things in CoC2 constitute as part of it. And everyone's life is different to begin with so once again, you are using vague, all encompassing term to justify something. Just say that you wanted your OC to fuck all the girls, no one is going to judge. Well, the idea specifically. Execution on other hand...
But hey, you are writer with clout around here. So, by all means, make Takahiro as good as your head paints him to be.

While I agree with what Animalistic says, I also think there must be a reason why Takahiro put up with so many stupid things, maybe in the past he helped the colony a lot? Maybe the liquor he makes sells very well? Does his title as Keros seeker give him immunity? I ask writers these kinds of questions frequently in the forum and they don't even give me an "it's a mystery" so I don't even bother and fill in the gaps on my own. For now I just know that I don't have the complete pieces of the puzzle, so I have to wait for the expansion haha, for now I imagine Takahiro as a benign junkie that you have to put up with because previously or from time to time he gives you a gold bar .

To the point where the Den have to do something or even to the point of no return? I already imagined something like that a long time ago and I don't need to see it embodied.

nah just a coincidence, i don't really come here much. couldn't resist this time, normally staff are insufferable and then threads are locked immediately after.
Honest I hold off on hating any characters except the antagonist's until the Kor wall is finally bested, because I know a lot is being put on hold so we can have us the ?Roman/Greek? to out of my headspace to remember, of cows completed. I can guess where he wants to go with him, but we probably wont see till next year.
I can get behind this, it reminded me that nearly every character we've met is incomplete.
I'll consider the fox den complete when I can climb Mt. Hitoshi and ride him into the sunset.

In this game, marriage doesn't mean much for anyone, and they will be ok with you fucking anything you want and even join it sometimes (like what is said that'll happen with him and Azumi in the future), cause why not. Be it for NPCs or players it seems. Honestly, I really think that monogamy in this world is against the law or one of the highest sins. XD
He is not for now. Once you help him sober up, he is going to mary Azami which will than allow you to become his concubine. So I am guessing that only once they are married you will be able to have sex with Azami.

Since kinu, it's been clear that Fox Village is a relatively separate area, both story-wise and culturally. People, I mean fox in there grew up together and share each other a long time. In that sence, it's not surprising that there are already some connections between them.
Just think of it as a foreign culture tour. It's ok to help other people solve their emotional problems like a "Japanese RPG character", just as the embellishment on the way of adventure and fuck.
(Although I'm inclined to take focus on champion. But the NPCs and story which independent can help make game real and vivid. This also important for RP, at least for me.)

I mean Kiyoko is the one who encourages you to do it with the other foxes, but logically I think shes a bit iffy on everyone else, lest we forget she says she will teach some concubine stuff to Miko after you knock her up.
