Who is your favorite companion?

Hi Rohan here, i just wanted to ask all of you what companion is your favorite and why.
also wanted to ask what was your less favorite companion and why.

For example, my favorite companion would be brienne because i love her personality and design and is pyromancer set is amazing.

My least favorite would be quinn, i dont know why i just cant like him.

Favorite: Tied between Cait and Brint. Cait's a sweetie and I cannot not love her and she also loves the Champ adorably. Brint's a sweetie and a husbando definitely who I'm looking to marry. If either of them were to appear in front of me I'd probably be as into them irl as I am ingame. I have massive crushes on both and they're basically a solid supportive adventurer/friend-circle to the Champ.
I also really like Azzy, literal cuddlebug best waifu. Nuf' said.

Quin's in the middle as he does have the hooks for me (He's a bunny, with a big dick, and imo a charming personality, along with a story to him certainly), but he has the issue of not having enough to him yet. IK QuinQuest(s) is something Bubs has planned tied to his affection system and focuses on his redemption arc I believe, but as of right now he's still too barebones for me to put up in the husbando spot as well, but I do really like him and will absolutely romance him when finally given the chance.

Least favorite is probably Berry. I just don't like his personality, there's being a brat and there's being a brat. I'm all for the "asshole with a soft side" trope (Listen I love hardasses who melt to their partners okay) but he pushes it a little too much into the unpleasant to me, and even when you comfort him at the FH event he doesn't improve either in development. Also and more importantly I HATE HIS TWO FOOT DICK LEMME SHRINK IT TO LIKE 12-14 INCHES AT THE LEAST SO THAT I CAN ACTUALLY WANT TO FUCK HIM I FUCKING HATE HYPER PLEASE... (Listen brint's 8 fucking feet tall so his dick works, Berry's like barely over 5ft his dick unlike Brint's IS hyper in terms of scale)
Also Arona, I never liked her type, I just absolutely don't. I don't like being forced to make her chieftain either if I want to not be locked out of Rags content. x.x
Also I don't.... like.. Kiyoko anymore... I just don't, I absolutely hate her post-orb to the point I've deleted my save that freed her and now pretend she doesn't exist...

Ryn for me, being also one of my favorite characters more broadly. There's just something wonderful about being able to help build her back up after everything she suffered under Alissa and to see her shine as a result. Or I suppose you could be neglectful or an outright bastard and bully her further... but in any event the way she's written means you can see a very tangible impact that your interactions with her have, for good or ill. You can probably guess which way I tend to come down on that question. Also, high-Confidence Ryn is just adorable in general and I enjoy her plot so I'm always happy to see more content for her.

After that, Cait and Brint in no particular order and for most of the reasons Emerald already stated. I also like the little touches with Cait where she has all these interests and is working out what to do with her life now that 'full time prostitute for Mallach' is off the table, and Brint hits that perfect sweet spot of being a good bro for the Champ even if you're not in a relationship, the sort of guy you'd love to just hang out with. And both of them have the whole 'I want to make sure you feel as good as I do' attitude towards sex.

Least favorite, uhhhh... probably Atugia, not because I don't like her but because she's kind of lacking in content right now so after you've done everything once or twice she's just kind of there. Hopefully she'll get a nice big expansion whenever Carmen gets hers.

I'm not sure I could pick an absolute favourite; in fact, I like most of the companions for one reason or another. So, I'll just list why I like or don't like each companion:

• Cait: as a free-love turbo-slut with a nigh-insatiable curiosity, she's basically CoC2's version of Anno. A great friend-with-benefits, but not romantic or intimate enough to be a true waifu.
• Brint: physically, I'm not into furries or the masculine. I like him for his personality, which others have aptly described as the perfect example of non-toxic masculinity and is unfortunately rare in these kinds of games.
• Brienne: physically, she's much more appealing to me than Brint. Personality-wise, the fact that she's much more monogamous and timid than him is a major downgrade IMO; I'd've much preferred it if she kept her personality from before. (Though I will admit that if she were her own character completely separate from Brint, I wouldn't be so negative about her.)
• Etheryn: she wins big sympathy points for being put through shit she didn't deserve, yet despite her experiences she's still a kind, selfless person. Naturally, I lean towards building up her Confidence. Plus, I have a minor weakness for princesses.
• Kiyoko: she ranks rather low on the "ones I like" side, as while pregnancy is one of my biggest fetishes, she is (outside sex) still more stiff and formal with the Champion than I think is warranted, what with them being the sire of her children and all. I'm also not a fan of how unsupportive she is of Inari Kinu, but that's understandable and doesn't really change how much I like her. That said, I haven't really seen any of her more recent content (i.e. marriage onwards), so my opinion could change considerably once I've seen it (and that change may also differ depending on whether Kinu's in her Inari or Hime form).
• Atugia: while I like how unique she is, and she seems like a cool enough dude to hang out with, she doesn't have enough content for me to decide whether or not I truly like her as a character.
• Berwyn: I'm normally not too keen on aggressive types, but I'm pretty sure his aggression stems from his personal issues regarding Matiha and not his natural personality, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I haven't actually seen his dom/sub mechanic in action, so that might change my opinion.
• Azyrran: now that I think about it, she's quite similar to Brienne but without the baggage of having once been Brint, as well as having the Etheryn-like elements of being concerned for her people and able to hook up with the Champion both to help her on her quest and for a more intimate relationship. I'm not sure how to feel about how similar she is to Etheryn and Brienne, but I still like her regardless. The fact that she can become a high-functioning bimbo (which, like Brint's personality, is unfortunately rare in these games) is also a plus (my dislike of bimbos in general is mostly due to the low-functioning aspect it's often paired with, which high-functioning bimbos obviously lack).
• Quintillus: he's my second least favourite, as his companion talks give me the impression that he views the feminine companions as potential fuck-mates rather than respecting them as individuals. That's just too lecherous for me to like (I'd also call him a perv, but considering that this is a porn game, that term isn't nearly as demeaning as usual).
• Arona: without a doubt, my least favourite. With her stereotypical orcish "rape and pillage / the strong rule the weak" attitude, I consider her to be an actual bad guy; and a worse one than Kassyra, at that (to me, Arona's Chaotic Evil while Kassyra's more Lawful Evil, Neutral Evil or Chaotic Neutral). From what I know, I also think Argoth is a better chief than she would be, making the perceived goodness of helping her entirely due to protagonist-centred morality.

Cait is easily my favorite. She may be outperformed by princess set Ryn but she's still a good healer, plus whitefire has been multi purpose for me in most fights. Plus she's sweet and supportive, she's like your bestie. Azzy and Brienne are tied for 2nd place. Least favorite is definitely Arona. From a gameplay perspective there's nothing she can do that Azzy And Brint/Brienne can't do and those 2 can be swapped out of their warrior sets. Arona has just another warrior set. Plus she does not have the best introduction. She openly admits that she's here rape, take slaves, kick the asses of randos, and chew bubblegum. And God help you cuz she's out of gum. She's just so unlikable and creepy. She's like a stereotypical frat bro but with large breasts. I'll keep my slutty priestess bestie, thank you.

Azzy takes #1, she is just so bubbly(well I think so anyway) and sexy as hell and really pulls her weight in a fight. Cait's a very close #2 for the same reasons. Brint's your buddy so he is cool, but I generally prefer azzy for a tag along though and I do not like double dipping in combat roles(old DnD habit I like diversity). Atugia is kind of in the same boat but as others pointed out its also because she has so little going for her content wise, I do like her though will be nice to see her expanded on. Etheryn and Kiyoko both share the same spot, both are nice and it really depends on my mood who goes with me. Eth would get big bonus points if you could fully turn her into a lady, but that's just my preference so whatever. Kiyoko having a huge pile of stuff, but she felt kinda weak in combat honestly(I do not remember what combat spec she was using). Not sure if she just had crap RNG or if being 1 level behind really makes that big of a difference for her. Berwyn and Quin sit at the bottom, both annoy me. Arona, eh as the chieftain "bro" she is ok but I never take her with me(that is also partially because I am not a fan of the artwork, I know superficial).

for a long time, kiyoko was my favorite character and follower, i loved everything about her, even the recent events; so for now azyrran will take the place of favorite follower.

as a less favorite, i can't decide between quin and arona, i just can't get along with quin, and i hate arona's personality.

Of the companions, I don't think there's any that I actually dislike. There's some where I have a dislike of aspects of them.
Etheryn is one of my favorites, but I really dislike how you can't fuck her with a 24-incher without doing the corruptive "Monstrously" scenes first (and even then I don't think the stretching goes all the way up to your current dick size, so you'll still need to shrink somewhat).
For Atugia, I really want more content. I like what's there, I like what she has, but I want much more.
For Berwyn, I'd want to build up his dominance except he's way too much of a dickhead, but a lot of the (non-sexual) stuff with him is honestly pretty fun and, despite how his ability set is, in my opinion, not particularly good, it's still pretty fun to have him bring out his elemental as a nice bruiser summon.
For Brint/Brienne, I love both and it's incredibly hard to choose. Especially because of Brint's dick. Consider all of my characters permanently married to that shaft, he's the only one any of my characters have set as a sleep partner. Also Brint is pretty much the only way I know of to get your character easily milked without using the milking masturbation option. And honestly Brint's just an amazing, loving man. As for Brienne, I've played with her a bit, and I do like a bunch of what's there as well, but honestly, she's just overshadowed by all of Brint's upsides.
Cait is nice. She was a favorite early on (especially since I used to feel the game straight up required a healer in your party), but as time has gone on, I kind of stopped caring about her.
For Azzy, I do like her, but like, she doesn't evoke that strong of an emotion. I don't really care much for a tease-based build/party, so she's using her hive knight set for me, and honestly, comparing her and Brint at the same level, Brint is just stronger. His cleave does more damage and his rend hits harder than Azzy's white fire. Azzy's encounter ability is more useful for me because it doesn't need the enemy to be at low health to become strong (at which point the increased strength generally doesn't matter much, because they'd just die anyways), and in regards to the at-will, I don't really like using Azzy to try to tank because she has no recovery unlike Atugia and thusly is a good deal less suited for the role.
For Quint, he's.... fine? Like Bimbazzy, he's meant to be in a lust-based party, and that's not exactly my normal playstyle. Personality-wise he's decent enough but he is rather weird towards your party members.
For Kiyoko, I've not actually used her as a party member, because I had the bright idea to not free her until she gets 9 tails, and then I made an entirely different character into my main and that one also isn't freeing her until Kiyoko has the maximum floof.
For Arona... I don't know, really, she's decent enough as a foe, and it's neat to go through her quest, but afterwards I don't really feel compelled to use her.

So like, of the companions, I think my favorite would have to be Brint.

I'm gonna go ahead and exclude Cait, because she's so universally liked that you'd probably have a very hard time just finding half a dozen people that don't like her.

1.) Brienne: Combat-wise, she's pretty solid. Hits like a truck and a must have for any physical damage team.
She adjusts to her change very easily, doesn't really care either way. She just accepts her situation and moves on. Hell, she leans into it HARD and that pretty much seals the deal for me.

2.) Azzy: Combat-wise, Honey Maiden is the absolute perfect addition to my lust damage character. What I don't crit, she finishes off or vice-versa most of the time.
There's really nothing about her I need to elaborate on. She's basically Cait. If anything, I wish I didn't have to choose between her as a companion or keeping the queen bimbofied.

3.) Kiyoko: Combat-wise, she's an excellent addition to a magic damage based team. Pair her with Cait and you have a force to be reckoned with.
I admit that when she said I have no say when it comes to the kids, that was a sucker punch. Definitely a major downside. Personality-wise, she's excellent one on one, but falls flat when it comes to multiple partners. If anything, it kills the mood.

4.) Berwyn: Combat-wise, he's sub-par compared to most of the others, imo.
Say what you want about his bratty personality, but I like it. If I had any criticism, it'd be that you can't delve further into getting him to admit he likes catching. I'd be interested in that leading down a path where you dom him.

Least favorite would be Atugia, but that's because she has so little content. That'll likely change in the future as she gets more content.

Close behind would be Arona.Combat-wise, why would I even choose her when I've got Brienne?
Her brutish personality and the way she treats her partners is a complete turn off for me. Basically, orcs suck at romance.

Cait is more than just a companion, should probably be with you always. Atugia is my favourite companion. Kiyoko favourite wife. After that Brint, Etheryn, Berwyn, Azyrran, Arona and Quintillus. In that order.

Oh right, the why. Quin just rubs me the wrong way using his magic without consideration. Cait has an amazing energy to her, also her healing is hard to pass up for most characters. Atugia is similar to characters I make, I love sword mage, spell warrior types.

My most used team mates are Cait/Kiyoko and Brint because they feel like a family when adventuring or are actually are family in Kiyoko's case

As for the rest

• Berwyn is someone I barely use I don't like his personality like Kiyoko says petulance is not a trait I like very much
• Quintillus I haven't used him much, but he ranks pretty mid range but I can see him on my party for Demon cult stuff
• Cait love my pink kitten but more as a friend than lover and I can see her being a lifelong friend with the Champ and adventuring buddy with the occasional benefits
• Brint/Brienne I can see the Champ being best bros for life with Brint or cute lovers as Brienne if I choose to not marry Kiyoko on another character
• Arona while her personality is rather off-putting, but she is the embodiment of Orc culture I think she fits in well with a Dark Knight champion and it's better for you to be in charge than her and use her tribe for the betterment of the Marches rather than raid it
• Azyrran is just a peach, very loveable and great companion, though I do not see her sticking around for the long haul I can see her save the marches and then return home and never go again.
• Atugia didn't recruit her yet no comment
• Etheryn is like a little sister to me I want to protect her rather than sleep with her
• Kiyoko is one of my favourites I like the idea of a husband and wife adventuring duo and love my floof family hope that one day I can go on an adventure with Tatsumi as a father and son adventure duo and seeing two cultures come together I can see my Champ settle down for a while with the floof family after the whole demon business.

Like:

• Cait - the original companion, the curious cat with a bubbly personality and bod. Love her abundance of comments on the various places and events. At first I didn't do her sex scenes because the whole "I'll still ride any dick I want" talk made me uncomfortable, but then I felt like shit when it dawned on me that I basically kicked her to the curb while I slept regularly with Ryn and Tugi. After getting over my ego she became even sweeter. Edit cause my brain won't let me sleep: Only sex scenes of hers I like are the Boob play and Vaginal, others are either not available or just straight up bullying from Cait's side which really killed the mood before I learned to avoid them.
• Ryn - build 'em up sob stories and romance, with a few exceptions, usually get me hook, line and sinker. I liked her when I first started playing but the additional content like the Winter City Ball really boosted her to the stratosphere.
• Atugia - I like what's there but I really want more. She's ancient but I haven't seen her comment on pretty much anything history related that she might be able to offer some useful insight on. And she's an absolute peach in the sheets.
• Brint - always dependable and there when you need him. His sex scenes are way too bimboish for my tastes, but his easy going personality definitely outweighs that.

Neutral:

• Kiyoko - never had her as more than a dinner companion due to lack of dick, but the way she described how she would "tie me up in her tails and drain every drop of cum from me" if I grew a dick to entertain her only pushes me away. I'm fine with pregnancy but kinkifying it takes it to the uncomfortable territory for me.
• Berwyn - he's just bratty for now but there's probably ways to go with his character. Doesn't help that hugs dropped out before he could do his expansions.
• Azyrran - really not into the whole bug butt and stinger ovi she's sporting so never really felt compelled to take her as a companion, but I liked what she had going for her enough to help her cleanse her hive. Just didn't really keep her around after that.

Dislike:

• Quin

Oh, Quin, Quin, Quin. The "reformed" cultist and fuck bunny. Aside from my general tiredness with fantasy bunny races being the apparent pinnacle of physical and sexual aptitude, he also comes off as the bully archetype which really pokes at my nerves. Also his opinion on Tugs added a lead weight to one side of his scale.​

• Arona - the rapey, pillagey brute with a one track mind that whispers into her ear that the strong must rule. But if that were the case then Benny should be chieftan! If you don't talk to her after completing the quest she will wait for you like an obedient puppy so you can proceed with your adventure without worrying what she might get around to at the Frost Hound.

Buddy-wise I would say Cait and Brint. I really like their relationship with the PC and how good of a friend the three of them are.

Character-wise I would say Ryn, I really like her design and her evolution. She's also quite sexy so that's a big plus.

Sex-wise definitely Arona. Even if she's a bit of a douchebag as a character, that just adds another domme layer to her sex scenes, which are all great.

So, I don't want to go on too much of a tangent (I hope I can stick to that) - my in brief thoughts would be:

Like:

• Etheryn - Ice princess. The feels, really makes me wanna just hug and protect her. That and deck Alissa something fierce.

• Brienne - Best girl (imo). Only issue is I need to overcome the crippling guilt of essentially ignoring an NPC when they explicitly tell me something is wrong after I tell them to put the suspicious (and totally not cursed) armor on.

• Atugia - Tui is a cool character with a lot of potential. I like her easy going nature with an eagerness to do something - not just sit idly. Eagerly awaiting for more content / backstory on her.

• Azyrran - Best bee bug. I like the fact that there is an NPC whom did not give into corruption - I just wish that saving her hive didn't require sexing her mom (pretty awkward dynamic there). Other than that, I like the cuddles.

• Cait - Curious cat. I like how she cares for the champion and will take eggs upon losses or even offer herself up for trade if the champion needs - shows endearment (or eagerness).

• Brint - Best bro.

Neutral:

• Kiyoko - Foxwife. Astral plane content is 10/10. Post Astral plane content (and by extent where she is actually a companion) makes me resent her slightly. Not often do I opt to take her out on adventures, more like just the resident stay at home den mother.

Dislike:

• Arona - Eh. I don't know, sub Arona is kind of okay, but how she acts prior to being submissive as well as her dom Arona path kind of just make tolerating her unbearable. Also, she bully Clem - that is unforgivable!!!!!!!

• Berwyn - Irritating. Openly attacks you to practice the ways of magical arts / summoning - then suddenly needs your help. I don't know, it kind of irks me to say the least. Not the best way of going about getting help (especially the potential continuity issues of asking for help even if he was the victor - sort of seems redundant - at least Arona addresses this when she asks you for help).

• Quintillus - Nope. Just a nope on that one. Supposedly reformed, but still acts lecherous and disrespectful in companion talks about feminine companions.

I really appreciate everybody sharing their opinions here, especially the reasons behind them.

As for me, well, to start...I like Etheryn so much I became a writer just to give her more scenes.

I don't think I've ever put "why I love Ryn so much" on this board before, so here's the capsule summary:

When Champ first meets Ryn, yeah, she's a woobie, and that gets harder and more painful as you learn more about her. But even from the start, she's got a little spark of fire and determination and valor inside her. Alissa tried to smother that spark, but it still kept burning, deep inside Ryn; it's the spark that led her, and her alone, out of the Winter City to get help. The Champion doesn't make Ryn into the confident, valiant elvenqueen she eventually becomes, but Champ helps fan that spark into a full flame, and that is an unimaginably wonderful experience.

It hits me very deep when there's a character whom you can show enough love to help them decide that it's okay to be who they really are inside, and to see that love have so much of an effect on somebody is one of the coolest things in the whole world. And Ryn adores Champ for it, which makes me melt into a puddle.

Also, she's my type! She's sweet and romantic, she's femme, she's very pretty, and she loves to both give and receive. It's incredibly fun to write scenes with Ryn and Champ just making each other happy. Confident Ryn is okay with leading from time to time, too, which is also fun. I want to marry her and have her babies.

• Cait - Seems cool. I like her attitude towards sex/relationships.

Neutral:

• Brint - Sex dynamics don't interest me, but seems okay overall.

Dislike:

• Quintillus - Boring.
• Berwyn - Bit less boring, still pretty boring.
• Kiyoko - Use of gender roles is staid, and is a Kitsune. I think that it would be interesting if there was a way to engage with her content (to a vastly limited extent, like one or two visits, accidentally fathering a child out of a misguided attempt to help, and then dealing with the existence of an extremely important family you don't care about who only exists because you were trying to help a person in need) without falling madly in love with her, but I get that that's not the point.
• Azyrran - Not into bug people.

Very Dislike:

• Etheryn - "Requires sex or becomes useless" is very much not a trope I enjoy. Could be endearing if that aspect was removed, but a bit too cute for my interest.
• Arona - A tool to be used against the orc camp.

Pending:

• Atugia - Cool design. Shame about the lack of content.
• Brienne - Have not interacted with her. Removed armor when Brint got a bad feeling.

Feel like its a necessity to have Cait in the party at all times for plot events, the quest is as much hers as it is the PCs considering it kicked off with her sister being portal-napped.
She's your wingwoman in every sense of the word.

I like Cait for her can-do attitude and best friend feelings, Ryn I probably love in the classical sense, Tui is delightful and Brint is a great bro and a wonderful romance, I just absolutely cannot suspend my disbelief to take a 2-foot dick, so a friend he remains. Quin is husbando because he is the only goddamn male character with a dick that doesn't trigger a fear response in me, and also he will be a hilariously chill life partner, my dude is a slightly tainted Jassiran catfolk c-boy with a few bad opinions for flavor and they match quite well. Least favorite is probably Arona, on account of she is a jerk. Couldn't really expect her not to be, so live and let live, but still.

This is a bit off-topic, but I like the companion system in general. There's so many of them any they can fill so many roles with set switches that there's something for everyone here, and if you don't like something you an avoid it with basically no consequences.

When it comes to rating the companions themselves, I don't really dislike any of them, so I'll just say why I like them.

Atugia and Berwyn I don't feel comfortable rating because they don't have as much content as the others. But I'm excited for more content with them.

I feel like I'm weird for this one but I like Etheryn in her low and mid confidence states. Most of the companions have such big personalities that quiet shy Ryn stands out by comparison. Or maybe I'm just weird. Anyway...

Quin is a mystery with his cult relations. His past and disposition make him stand out among the companions. I like how the opinion of most other companions on him is also how a lot of the community seems to see him, lol.

Arona is very much the stereotypical Orc. Very much. You either like it or you don't honestly. She's similar to Quin in that her antagonism makes her stand out. I'm interested to see how she develops. (She's scores big points with me for having a breastfeeding/milking scene. A consistent one. I really wish more companions had these.)

Brint is bro, I love him and all his scenes, but Brienne is bae and has many of the best scenes in my opinion. The milkings, the all-night stuff, the romance, it's all just perfect. Wsan's perfect. Can't wait for Kor'minos. (Hope I spelled that right.)

Azzyran is my second favorite companion, she gives off mad Brienne energy tho, so that isn't surprising. I like to take the two of them with me and roleplay as the Amazon Brigade. It's fun having a party where the average height is 7'2. Also she has the most unique concept for a set change in the game currently. Plus she and Brienne can milk each other. I feel bad breaking that up, honestly. I wished they'd let us in on it, considering my character lactates constantly. Why don't you two milk ME this time, huh? ;(

Kiyoko is another companion that is hella unique, even if I'm not really into preg stuff. She also has a fuckton of content because TheObserver is 9-tailed robot who doesn't need sleep to function.

I also like that she has something to say about most events, and is mentioned in a lot of after fight scenes. She's almost like a deuteragonist, honestly. If you weren't around, she'd be the hero.

This is a bit off-topic, but I like the companion system in general. There's so many of them any they can fill so many roles with set switches that there's something for everyone here, and if you don't like something you an avoid it with basically no consequences.

When it comes to rating the companions themselves, I don't really dislike any of them, so I'll just say why I like them.

Atugia and Berwyn I don't feel comfortable rating because they don't have as much content as the others. But I'm excited for more content with them.

I feel like I'm weird for this one but I like Etheryn in her low and mid confidence states. Most of the companions have such big personalities that quiet shy Ryn stands out by comparison. Or maybe I'm just weird. Anyway...

Quin is a mystery with his cult relations. His past and disposition make him stand out among the companions. I like how the opinion of most other companions on him is also how a lot of the community seems to see him, lol.

Arona is very much the stereotypical Orc. Very much. You either like it or you don't honestly. She's similar to Quin in that her antagonism makes her stand out. I'm interested to see how she develops. (She's scores big points with me for having a breastfeeding/milking scene. A consistent one. I really wish more companions had these.)

Brint is bro, I love him and all his scenes, but Brienne is bae and has many of the best scenes in my opinion. The milkings, the all-night stuff, the romance, it's all just perfect. Wsan's perfect. Can't wait for Kor'minos. (Hope I spelled that right.)

Azzyran is my second favorite companion, she gives off mad Brienne energy tho, so that isn't surprising. I like to take the two of them with me and roleplay as the Amazon Brigade. It's fun having a party where the average height is 7'2. Also she has the most unique concept for a set change in the game currently. Plus she and Brienne can milk each other. I feel bad breaking that up, honestly. I wished they'd let us in on it, considering my character lactates constantly. Why don't you two milk ME this time, huh? ;(

Kiyoko is another companion that is hella unique, even if I'm not really into preg stuff. She also has a fuckton of content because TheObserver is 9-tailed robot who doesn't need sleep to function.

Azzy: She gives out head pats! Afaik this might be exclusive to her over all three Fengames. I like her scenes, I like her design, I like the hive. A+ all around.

Atugia: Despite there being not that much too her, I really like what's there. A dullahan is a bit more unique compared to most of the other companions, her runes are interesting, and I like her personality. He dance scenes in the Winter palace were amazing as well.

Arona: Futas are my jam, tbh. Her character is interesting, and a bit more than "fuckhappy orc", even if it gets played that way a lot.

Like:
Brint. I don't swing towards male characters, but Brint's just a pretty cool guy. Even without sexing him I just like having him around.

Ethyryn: Adorable, but doesn't do anything for me sexually. I'm not really into super shy characters, but Ryn is pretty fun once I get her confidence up. Hopefully the cage comes off sooner than later.

Kiyoko: I'm not really a big fan of preg content, but I can overlook it in Kiyoko. Sh'd be higher, but there's a lot of times where she's really annoying, so it kinda averages out.

Berwyn: I feel kinda the same way Brint does about Berwyn. Fun to see him get in a huff about things.

Meh:

Cait: I'm actually slightly surprised when I see how many have Cait as their favorite. She's just kinda...there. I honestly can't identify any personality traits with her besides "likes sex", and "friendly", and it's not really enough to carry a character. She wants to save her sister I guess? But even that doesn't come up that often. She's kinda vanilla, doesn't really hit any fetish points for me, and doesn't really have anything of interest to say.

She's basically a more sex-happy Anno, and I was pretty ambivalent about Anno until she got more stuff like her family visit and interactions added (and ofc Huskar Anno, yum). Hopefully CaitQuest fleshes her out a bit, but atm she's just the character I grab when I see a greyed out threesome button.

Brienne: Liked Brint's personality better. She falls in complete love with my character really quickly, seemingly after sexing her like two or three times, she's a little bit uncomfortably devoted, I'm not into preg stuff, and I don't like lactation. Just doesn't hit any of my personal buttons. Kinda wish she was more of a straight Brint swap.

Quintillus: Haven't even put him in my party or gone through his talk options. He's a cultist! What am I, stupid?

Since there is nothing to suggest that he was in any way duped in joining in, it does almost paint his as worse morality corrupt companion then Arona. Which is kind a shocking when you think about it. Being more shady then an Orc slaver.

And for someone who's trying to leave, he sure does go out of his way to still act like he's still a cultist and make it hard to trust him. But until he gets more content I've got to disagree on being worse than Arona. Those cultists may have some really good pamphlets after all and he does seem that he's not actively helping doom the world. Arona is still Arona no matter how her quest ends. If I could only keep one to benchwarm the Frost Hound, I'll choose the weirdo who can change instead of the friendly orc slaver.

I'm not gonna be saying anything that someone hasn't already said here but boy howdy do I wanna talk about these companions, so here's my thoughts in no particular order.

Cait's fuckin perfect. She's got the whole "Best friend but it could easily go further" vibe going for her, which I have a deep-rooted fondness for. Something about both parties just being compatible as pals but always leaving the door open for romance, she never outright says "I love you" but her actions seem to lean that way, idk man it just gets me. She's great. Her grade-A sex scenes, which have just the right amount of bullying, fun, and intimacy involved really seal the deal. She's probably my favorite character in any porn game. No matter what character I try to play, I can never remove her from the party. It just feels wrong without the slutty cat priestess. The past few weeks I always made sure to pop in the discord to see if Savin was teasing anymore CaitQuest, now I can't wait to see it in game. I'm hoping there'll end up being one or two endings where you ride off into the sunset with your wedding-banded hands entwined.


Brint, ho boy. He's a mixed bag for me. On one hand, the idea of a dude you could knock a few back with, high five, and then he'll rail you till neither of you can feel your legs. That's the ideal man right there. Wanna just relax? He's game. Need a spotter? No problem. Wanna go on a rampage through an orc camp? He's got your back. Threesome with a giant snake lady? Say less, homeboy's already balls deep. From the moment you run into him he's willing to risk life and limb to save your soul with nothing to gain and no strings attached.

On the other hand, his dick is just too big. Hyper is a big turn off for me buuuut his romance is still undefeated, so he's firmly in the top 2. (Brint+Cait+PC=Power throuple)


Brienne is meh. Her content on its own is fucking wonderful, Wsan never fails to write amazing and likeable characters, but the fact that you essentially trade Brint in for a different model leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Brint best husbando.


Etheryn, the prime woobie. Alypia already did a bang-up job describing Ryn's appeal, I've got nothing more to add. Love the elf princess.


Quin? I totally get where he turns a lot of people off, but I can't not like him. His sex scenes are great and I want to see his redemption arc. I also want him to cuddle me. Nuff said.


Berwyn, not my thing. I'd love to see more of him where he's less bratty but I guess I'm picky when it comes to dommy femboys. Dick too big, not endearing or interesting enough to make up for it. Fingers crossed that I'll change my mind whenever he gets an expac but I'm sure that's a ways off, B is a busy lad.


Kiyoko, oof. When I first found this game she was one of my favorite characters but over time she's just petered off into obscurity in my playthroughs. Initially, the romance that bubbled up from the Astral plane was the hook that got me invested in the whole game. I couldn't wait to progress and rescue her, made a beeline to the Frostwoods so I could free the floofwife and party with the floofchildren. After the rescue though, the romance just died, her content lost its charm, and it looks like I'm not the only one who felt that way. Being a deadbeat dad with minimal input isn't something I want to be nor something I want any of my characters to be. It just makes me feel uncomfortable and depressed, and not in a "This media has really challenged my worldview" kind of way, it just ends up being a case of "I can't be a decent dad because I'm not given the choice to try." She's easily my least favorite character in the game and I doubt anyone will take that spot from her.


Azzy, another mixed bag. I absolutely adore her wholesome content, I haven't had the heart to try the corrupt route with her. I just wish there was a way to do her quest without sexing her or beating her down. One thing I like about most other companions is there's a degree of separation if you so desire, no sex is necessary to kick ass alongside them or help them out. I just wanna set her up with Liaden and watch the romance blossom without getting involved, y'know? That's completely my personal preference though, and her overall appeal is still off the charts. Buzz gal is excellent waifu.


Atugia, again, I don't have anything new to say. I like her but she's lacking in content, I'll probably like her more when she's more of a character and less of a footnote.


Arona, eh. I prefer content that caters to a switch mentality, so her being stuck as sub or hard-dom isn't interesting to me. I basically only do her quest to get the Bar Brawler title and the chance to bang her sister. Guess I got a thing for priestesses.
