It's mostly because he's just annoying, and if you try to leave without helping him after winning the fight the text tries to bully you to complete his content, regardless of the players interest. Most other content that's similar doesn't do that if you aren't interested you just beat them to submission and leave, no harm no foul. Examples given previously also can be removed from the rng pool but those are done naturally - you don't have to do much outside of just winning fights - Ninian you literally have to pursue their content to stop it. Which is why a lot of us just want a remove content option to not deal with him.
Now if we could continue what their Creator started and get him to make the change that would be something else...

Ninian also feels really underdeveloped, i guess? Maybe that's not the right word but he doesn't really fit in the world that much, he's the only pixie? fairy? whatever they are, that we ever meet and his story is completely disconnected from the setting at large
I agree with this, he does also feel really out of place and unfinished. Granted I feel majority of Bubblelord's content felt a bit incomplete and/or just forced on you. Sugo you are forced to help and let into Hawkthorne, you don't get an option to say no, for example. I like Byvernia but she's one of the most annoying combat encounters ever, I some times dread going to the Foothills just because of her. Merks are incomplete but fortunately being worked on, think the Driders are too... don't get me started on Takahiro, I'm just happy you can disable his rng events. Maria really needs an expansion as well.
An alternative option for the Missing Meows quest where you suggest the catgirls stay in Hawkethorne and help out in town, or if the Wayfort is rebuilt and renovated, have them move there.
Well Maria the Mushroom Druidess is an Mushroomfolk or an plantllike race much like the Alraune & her daughters.
It could expand into Maria having sensed something strange in the fauna to the north for some time through the underground plant root networks since the arrival of Kasyrra.
But after the intervention of the champion it became rather contained or still and that trigger curiosity from Maria as to now wanting to meet with the source (Alraune).
And by so she has an talk with the champion in none combat encounter event in wich she tries to convince the latter so to introduce her to the source of the previous disturbence, as she knows that the champion had something to do with that and the current situation of the so said source.
It could lead to do the champion telling her directions so for her to be able to meet with the Alraune, but as what happend with Viviane in Be Witched you get the choise to warn the Mushroom Druidess about the alraune or not.
- If not having warned the next time the champion reaches the Alraune in the Corrupted Garden within the Wayfort you would be met with an much more different and sexually interested Maria wich now is has been corrupted but is not demonic (thicker and having an different more corrupted look to her) due to something similiar as to what happend with Jael'yn when sent to the wayfort has happenend to her.
- If warned the next time the champion reaches the Alraune in the Corrupted Garden within the Wayfort you would be met with an busy Maria that is trying to use her fungal knoweledge to limit even more the spread of corruption from the Corrupted Garden and it's denizens.
In both options she could later help the Fungal Amalgamation be able to move from their place or remove the funguses all together that are on them possible with the help of Rindo aswell.
And for Ninian as he is an Pixie, he could also interact with theDryads, Alraune & Maria wich teh two latter are plantfolk and normally have a lot to do with the natural magical world of the Wyld (Wyld Tree) and fairy creatures such as himself and the Dryads.
The Aura of Desire Encounter Power being reworked (so it scales with Sexiness) and enabled for players so to be able to steal or learn it.

I'd be happy with more useful catalyst "spellblade" type weapons, including magic axes. Also more unisex magic armor, most of it of the feminine persuasion and that is much sadge.
The worst part of the fairy is that running from him requires two clicks. I don't know why they let him get away with it. I far as I know no other enemies I have fought in game do the same thing so it's just unique for the fairy. If it was just one then yeah, one and done boom back to the forest like running into wolfs but no its two clicks.
Are the one handed option for spellblade still not just the flametongue blade? Let me just roll up my Hoarfrost/Control Rod spellblade real quick with negative ten evasion. Yes I know Gladius and now soul are there but they have light weapon stat line.
It's heavy as shit. That is a big negative on my spellblades and chamers along with it being two handed. My same problem with Glaive but now I have Moondancer to help with that.

Glacial Spike is still negative 5 evasion but it is. Chaos blade slipped the mind but other then the lowered defenses, which I mean ouch if you are under 50 corruption it is a fine weapon.
Also does Soul still not have a better statline then Gladius? Obliterate demon would not proc for me so idk.
Does 5 less damage has 5 less armour pen, 10 less crit chance and 10 more accuracy. So i'm going with no it does not
Ngl, i'd rather see more mushroom waifu content than fucking Ninian of all things, personally
I just used Soul with Heart on a whole ass demon and it gave them the song of storms buff twice, Obliterate demon is really a white mage spell that gets added to your powers called song of storms that gives bonus holy damage on cast. Gotta make a bug report or smth.

The demon exclusive set for Viviane has been coming "soon" since January of 2025. Maybe "soon" can be soon?
Honestly it's been long enough I forgot that demon-Viv having one less set than human-Viv wasn't some kind of punishment for being corrupt and is supposed to be like Arona's Chieftain/Exile sets

This probably belongs more in the gripes thread, but the new secondary effect really does not benefit a charge weapon dps focused paladin. Guess my paladin is forever doomed to have at least 1 perk that does literally nothing no matter the class I'm in
