Armor page.
What if armor could have different types of effects depending on the combinations of tags the armor has beyond just for cosmetic scene use (and also if you like an bit of immersion even in an fantasy setting).

The scaling of armor in practise would work more like an chaining of armor that begins more and more to cover your body by said
Armor type thus together becoming more efffective as an whole (ex.: instead of having just an armor plate you have also similiar pieces for your legs and arms wich by so generaly they are made to connect with each other so to aswell protect the joints of the body from attacks, and metal
Armor ussualy does that better than leather ones, the cloth one is that you are more evasive due to not having the strain of wearing heavier
Armor and the exposed & skimpy are self explanatory).
This would motivate for getting more similiar armor with combined armor type tags to get some additional bonuses.
