Isn't that same thing with Arona. You know, the "God I fantasize about enslaving Brienne and Cait". That Arona?

I never see her get hate for her companion talks.
What Tarnakus said. I never play her dom material, I only make her a sub so she's pretty mild about things. Still rough around the edges, but honestly not as cringe as pre-update Quin, which I am really glad that's being toned down. I also give her some leeway because of the cultural aspects of her personality, Quin doesn't have that excuse.

To paraphrase one of my favourite comedians, the worst thing about Quin is the hypocrisy.

I feel like Quinn was supposed to come off as a horny dude in his talks, and I think that is a constant throughout his content. His conversation when meeting Whisper, his training with Tugs and whatever small interactions he gets do paint him as a man that readily follows what his dick tells him to do. He jokingly says (up to the reader if they find it humorous) that one of the reason he wants to help Cait is so they can have a make out sex afterwards.

I do have to admit that his Brienne and Ryn talks do straddle the line in terms of how uncomfortable they can be, and little misogynistic I can't lie, but those always read to me as his initial, shallow impressions.

I do know that some companions recieve updated talks after some time passes in game, so maybe that was supposed to be case with him. After we get to know him better, maybe he starts appreciating the woman of our group beyond surface level appeal aka: do they get him hard or not.

I mostly ignore everything but his power sets. I feel kind of bad for him because the other characters react accordingly to his behavior.

You know what might be cool? You know those hidden and "cheat" characters you can get in games? Since they already have the scripting for him, pass Berwyn as one of them.

Oh! Well good to hear from y'all.

Here is hoping that for those that are on fences in regards to the bunny boy come around to him even if it is just slightly.

I've been saying for years that the most frustrating part thing about Quinn is that he almost works. On paper, he has a fairly interesting backstory, the son of nobles, he ran away and joined an assassin's order. After he learn what he could, he left the order (the Talon's not being an order that you could just do that) and joined up with Tollus. He joined Tollus because back then it was essentially a hippie love commune that was a robber's gang. When Tollus started to enact his grand plan, Quinn left once again and was chased for it until you rescue him. Think about it, Quinn is the only person we know of that ever-left Tollus's cult. This paint the picture of someone who is a bit cowardly, foolish, but possessing a strong moral compass.

Unfortunately, the game doesn't really play into his backstory. Sure, Quinn has some extra dialogue when encountering cult members but it's very sparse. There is no quest that ties Quinn with his history with the cult. I feel like they're missing some really low hanging fruit here. Have a quest where Quinn has to confront one of their friends/lovers from the cult, who is extremely hurt by Quinn leaving the cult. Have the inciting incident where Quinn left be the plan to kidnap a virgin (Cait's sister), boom, instant pathos. Have cult members react more hostile with Quinn in the party. Let Quinn have talks where he can discuss high level operatives in Tollus's cult such as the Faceless Blade or Master Whisper. Quinn should at least have a clue on who the Faceless Blade is, and we know for a fact that he knows Master Whisper.

He was writen by the person who thought Takahiro was a good idea.
What did you expect?

But my personal dislike of Quin is based on the fact he feels like an entitled prick from the start.
Like, dude, I saved you, escorted you to town and now you want me to buy you your gear before you do anything useful? Can't you earn money and go buy it by yourself?
(Or at least make it entertaining? Fashionista Quin when? )

Bad ends in COC 2 should get a gallery of sorts. It can be rather tedious to get every bad ending and make a save for it, especially when any future patch could make those saves nonfunctional.

I may be overreaching, but it would also be cool if customization could be added for that gallery too, so I could have a male lupine with this size, or a draconic female with that size.
