What content would you like added?

Will any of the locals ever catch on to my 'sinister' master plan to slowly put my bloodline into positions of influence within just about every faction in the game so that I become shadow ruler within a few decades and use this cross factional influence to smooth over tensions and promote coexistence (or, uh, you know, less noble goals if you want to use this social power bloc for evil)? Of course this all assumes my character in 20-30 years is somebody their children like enough to do favors for.

Hawkethorne- Garth is basically the village headsman and I fathered children on his daughter

Harpies- I have frequently fathered children on the 'favored daughter' of the harpy matriarch

Orcs- I have children by both their spiritual leader and their secular leader

Kitsune- They literally treat your family by Kiyoko like some kind of royalty and talk about Kinu being a future community leader+Apparently I can also get into Komari's line soon via Miko. Though they are also kind of stubborn and xenophobic so it might be a bit hard to exert influence there....

boreal elves-Fathered children on their high priestess and will most likely be the mother to their regent's kids at some point.

Centaur- Married to the village princess and it hasn't been for lack of trying that I have no kids by her

Tanuki- Mothered some children by Meira, but in fairness that might not mean much in terms of influence depending on how things go with Evergreen

Mallach's temple- Pretty sure you are the first person who gets to use Salwah's services as 'garden of children' so the eldest child of their first generation of home grown kitttens is yours (not to mention however many more you might have by her).


Probably forgetting some (and no doubt more will be added later that aren't possible now)

The one that Savin has repeatedly referred to as the evil mommydom, whose mysterious plans fall squarely in the Evil axis of D&D alignments? That Evergreen? Yes, it's apparently going to be something the Champ can do at some point. EDIT: Or possibly it happens without us directly doing it, see Alypia below. That's a 'devs only know' thing.

There's a caveat that not everything in the parser documentation is actually used in the game, for example there's still parsers for tailcunts even though those have been removed and there appear to be some parsers from when Shar was planned to be a companion before Savin realized that writing three was already insane enough. But there's no reason to think that the Evergreen stuff is this sort of exception.

Personally I'm happy to let Evergreen continue doing whatever she does. I like the use of the editor, got more coins that way but mostly it was to fix a problem with the waystatues. Oh marrying Carmen, yes pls.

Because it allows writers to make comments or indulge in jokes that wouldn't fit in the game normally but they wanted to make anyways, like BubbleLord slipping JoJo jokes into Lusamine's scenes or Alypia making a Frozen reference in one of Ryn's Winter City 'date' events. In other words, sometimes you just wanna cut loose and have fun.

Also, Silly Mode only shows ALTERNATE scenes/dialogue for certain events, it doesn't replace anything. So settle down.

If you don't enjoy outtakes, just watch the fucking movie and disregard the Special Features.

Not to mention Silly mode allows straight up memes and shit to be put in. That would not fit in at all in just a simple "normal but silly" scene. Silly stuff at least stays within the scope of the game outside silly mode. Silly mode just straight up throws shit at you without expecting it (I mean that in a good way.)

Hell, kitsune speaking straight up japanese would throw anyone out of the game imo if that wasn't in silly mode.

Also it's not as if they aren't writing good scenes with it. :U They write good scenes and throw silly variants within those scenes. At the very least I've not seen a Goo Village case happen with this game yet, that still is somewhat of a peeve of mine from TiTS xP

This last post made it seem like you thought writers were wasting time writing Silly script as opposed to focusing on game content everyone wanted/had every right to expect.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Silly Mode text is an add-on to existing script so yes, while you're not wrong - "to each their own" - you're blatantly dismissing additional content that people actually enjoy to the sound of:

"I enjoy watching some movies with Director/actor commentaries."
"Pfft! Whatever. Philistines."

Silly mode is fine. I do enjoy it more when "real game" makes me laugh. Since it is something that feels more natural than having entire mode based on trying to be funny or silly.

Also, references for sake of references are not really my cup of tea. Alluding to something just so you can.

Still, easy to ignore and to each there own.

Firstly are the two mutually exclusive?

Secondly...shsss... this is a porn rpg its basic conceits are silly
A- everyone wants a piece of your ass regardless of what it and they look like
B- Upon finding a murder hobbo in their midst the community doesn't wait for you to fall asleep and then put you in their wicker man for later sacrifice, instead they all sequentially shag you.
C- You can go full chimera without peasant saying. "You can take goat just spare the children."
D- You can quickly become the richest guy in town by just mugging things in the forest, and nobody says anything not least "explain to me how this economic model works, and howdo you prevent hyper-inflation?"

Silly Mode basically works like this:

Writing a normal scene -> think of a stupid pun or a dumb reference in the middle of a paragaph -> add [silly|] variant over the course of ~30 seconds -> laugh about it on Discord.

Currently on my want-to-see-in-game list:
Chitinous/scaled face without tying it to a specific creature's appearance - IE the Arachnid tag is "usually paired" with the chitinous tag, except it's mandated to have those pointy fangs jutting over your lower lips; and a somewhat scaled face sounds intriguing to me, even if I can't currently recolour them to anything else outside of what Manti Nip and Cinderleaf/Frostleaf allow me to have.
