There's a lot of super effective strategies, and honestly, I often feel like Smuggler is underpowered. Admittedly, I'm not sure, because of the last 50 characters I've made only, like, two of them were smugglers. But like, melee tech specialist and ranged merc are extremely powerful, where ranged Merc annihilates things with 4 heavy shots every round, and melee techy does less damage per round but it doesn't consume as much energy, and melee merc is also decently strong, if weaker than them. Hell, the only strategy I'd say is downright bad is the ranged tech specialist, and even then some people have said it's good too.
I feel like the level 10 talents for mercenaries are rather underwhelming... Like they both just make up for things you lack.
How far did you get? There are several enemies that are immune to Blind.
Because it creates a meta where there is only one 'correct' choice, effectively eliminating all others.
How did the Shock Hopper go? She's immune to Electric.
Originally, Lunge was the only way to hit Flying enemies with Melee attacks. At least it has a rider. Bigger Guns is only useful if you don't want to increase Physique and don't want to wear Power Armor (or the Exoskeleton) or your Physique has been decreased below the threshold (Feruze's Tranquilizer, Stagger if you're close to 40). And you have to want to use Power Armor weapons, which aren't really necessary in the first place. Additionally, Mercs are incentivized to raise Physique, even if they're going Ranged.
I hadn't realized that about Tease damage. Light Savicite Maul might be fun with that.
When my normal swings would just do 6-8 tease damage, my power strikes would dish out 40+ per hit and that's with a rather unattractive Leithan without any specific boost to sexiness or tease damage.
I always wondered about Uveto... Where are all the subs? Like the planet has a dom density beyond comprehension? Is that why everyone tries to dominate Steele because all the other Uvetans won't keep up with it and therefore everyone is sexually frustrated?
Uveto is a hellish landscape where doms all compete against each other (for dominance, hence the name) and as it is have totally destroyed the dom/sub ecosystem. I mean you have a dom that eventually turns you into a cybernetic fuck nugget just because you passed out too many times in the snow, if that doesn't prove how thirsty Uveto is for subs, I don't know what else to say.
Not sure, Willian is clearly into dom NPCs more, but he has a lot of good non-dom content. I think its mostly the patreons that want the dom content which influences the writers' decision and order of implementation. I mean if it wasnt for patreons decision makig we would probably be much farther along the main story but with less side content.
