Some weapons are a bit too garbage in most situations (mainly things that are heavily inaccurate), and alot of 'perks' are small enough to have very little effect.

Kattom appears too much. I've had him appear about 5 tiles away from where I last saw him.

And having to basically rape the load save button to get the effects you want from some mutators is just a tad annoying.

Other than that I have nothing to complain about which is seriously impressive from me

Thank fuck I'm not the only person thinking this.

God and what's worst is like going to a new planet and going to the gun shop or vender and finding a new gun that's more shit than your last gun in one way or another and it cost like 3k more than your last one.

I fucking know right? I still haven't really found anything better than this spitter that seeps life. And being me, I always wanna try out these super expensive guns because 'They've gotta be good or have a special effect, right?'

Only later to find out that that gun that ended up being shit would've been great against this random pirate juggernaut that shoots me six times in one turn.

I'm sure someone else has said it, but fuck taint.
I don't even know how to remove it if you can.
If you can't, i'd argue it should just be removed because it's more of an inconvienence than anything. I mean, transformations, when you think about it, are really just lots and lots of character customization. Alot of them already require farming or buying to obtain, so adding a 'these will corrupt you with death-stee-dees' just seems like a slap harder than the overseer's whip.

[EDIT]
Also, can someone just tell me what it even does? Like, in-game. I have about 27% from trying to be a Zil boi and have found little more than what I think was it giving a libido boost.
heh, heh, death-stee-dees

Taint locks your Libido to a minimum of your Taint score. Taint will reduce itself over time, but it's such a slow drain that it'll take ages to get back down to 0 from even slight gains. At 100% Taint, you get the Corrupted perk, which locks your Taint at 100% and raises the Libido cap to 200. Libido is, in nearly all situations, strictly a punishment stat that makes you lose fights more easily, so this is pretty much pure downside unless you like loss scenes.

I was reading in bug reports that Fuck Sense could be used in lieu of Intelligence in some instances, depending on what special attacks they allow that for, having 200 Libido could be very exploitable.

I think a Treated Techie gets to use Libido in place of Intelligence, so with 200 Libido and Charge Weapon you could deal monstrous damage.

You know that reminds me of some thing funny, if you are a techie with cum cow and you don't have enough intelligence to do something you can suck your own dick and then get the intelligence to do what ever.

Ever since I learned about Dumb4cum & the flexibility perk, that's exactly what all my tech builds are.

Nothing better to drink when you're dumb as a bag of bricks than some Steele jizz juice. Only for Steele and Steele consumption but others may drink.

That's what the description says, but it doesn't seem to work that way, it looks like bimbointelligence is still used.

In a way it makes sense because libido isn't capped by level like the other stats.

Thanks fam.
I'd question why it's there - it really seems more annoying than practical - but I don't trust myself to be rational most of the time, and it's not my game, so eh

Wouldn't need too if you had like 80 libido or like idk some chill pills to drop your lust.

There are too many transformatives that increase minimum lust. I'd really like to be able to go two minutes without my character's lust skyrocketing from 20 to 200 in the blink of an eye.
That's because your libido is too high, not minimum lust.

In general one major gripe I have with TiTS is that most fights feel like a damage / lust race - outside of a few fights with specific actions or tactics (such as Captain Khorgan's driller fight with missile dodges and cover, or Kane's fight where you had to switch weapons constantly or he'll counter you) it feels like the combat system is more or less the same as CoC - one where only dealing the highest amount of damage possible (be it actual damage or lust damage) is the outright most effective way to play, and not doing so is pretty much gimping yourself come the later stages.

That isn't to say every encounter should have some big intricate fight - common mooks should and could play out as common mooks do - but at least named or higher-tiered variants could stand to be spiced up a bit, though that would probably never happen given the amount of work needed to be put into it (and most people are here for the porn first and game second.)

...that's because it is.

and not doing so is pretty much gimping yourself come the later stages.

Up to Myrellion the game is pretty forgiving when it comes to your damage output. Past that you're going to find out the hard way that your special snowflake character is poorly built when combat slows to a crawl in Zheng Shi especially if you don't like performing lust attacks.

(and most people are here for the porn first and game second.)

TURN. ON. EASY. MODE.

I'd like it to be harder actually.
I also don't notice any differences on easy mode

I just want to know where the current progress of the game is versus the overall goal for initial release (i.e. w/e they consider 1.0).
I have only a vague recollection of what was promised in the original Offbeatr funding and it's just kind of frustrating to not have a good sense of where we're going. Not just the content either, but the features we should still expect.

We've been in 7.X for over 2 years at this point.

I really wish we could get some kind of basic mod system for weapons that would allow us to add some base/elemental damage(not drug or tease damage, though. That's just begging for abuse) or one of the weapon flags like bonus hit rate or stunning chance to them as long as they were under like 30 total base damage or something like that (that's just off the top of my head. There's probably a better way to balance it). I personally don't think focusing too much attention on making this game's combat perfectly balanced is a good use of time or resources considering TiTS is mostly about developing your character and having them interact with the world, but I don't like how insanely dominant certain weapons like the Dancing Flashblade or Saurmorian Railgun (even though I do love that Railgun personally) are. I'd like to be able to have weapons that fit my character aesthetically without feeling like I'm making myself weaker on purpose and having builds that are so clearly dominant really hurts that experience for me. I don't necessarily want the powerful weapons in the game to go away because I know there's a certain appeal to having really powerful weapons floating out in the universe, but I wish the playing field was a lot more level so other weapons could at least try to compete.

I don't need easy mode (i actually find the game rather easy, some combat just takes a bit but isn't an actual challenge), but if alot of builds for characters end up needing an Easy Mode, that's usually an issue.
+ lust attacks shouldn't be even close to neccesary for any fights. It's a different form of a damage for a different form of play.

One of my only gripes with the combat system is just that it's too much of a damage race for fights that should be more dynamic. Alot of the bosses and minor bosses end up being just 'If this flash grenade hits I win, if it doesn't I die in 2 turns'
Grunt enemies end up being more dynamic battles when I first get to the planet, whereas major fights end up being relatively boring slogs.
And 'just use lust damage' shouldn't be the main/only way to beat fights for people who usually deal in pure damage, at least in my opinion. No batttle should force someone to use a specific form of attack to stand much of a chance.
That only gets worse when you consider that 90% of the weapons are garbage, with a few very clearly dominant ones (in the same tier of course, the primitive bow shouldn't be as powerful as a railgun)

The tutorial literally tells you to use lust attacks because physical damage doesn't always work.

With that said, you can defeat every boss with physical damage you just can't have some crappy build with crappy equipment.
