It probably feels tacked on right now because it was added fairly recently, and we haven't reached the Tainted Space in the title yet.
I don't think it's arbitrarily applied, as no legal transformative causes it. Mostly it's 'natural' transformatives (Motherhusk/Slutshoom/Spunkshroom), not-usually-transformatives (alien food/consumables) and illegal transformatives (Gush/Throbb). And the Mindwash Visor, for some reason. That's the one that confuses me a bit. Messing with your mind on a regular basis like that would be likely to cause problems, but I'm not sure why they'd be genetic, as Taint explicitly is.

What, the title mechanic that only managed to get implemented after several years of development is kinda janky?
I wish there was a way to mute certain threads that you're not interested in. Yeah, I know this is more of a complaint about XenForo than anything else, but this is the only forum I ever visit, so I'm putting it here.
Still, though, its a bit frustrating to see something you don't really care about shoved to the top of the forums every few minutes because everyone else is interested in it.
One of my gripes would be the gravity defying perfectness when it comes to the text and artwork. Bigger tits and dicks are appealing, but sometimes I think it would be hot to have gravity take effect once in awhile, like in that one Celise bust with the heavy boobs.
Also, possibly on a related note, almost all the female busts look like if I touched them they would make balloon noises.
I get that it's more about the art direction or that particular artists style, so it doesn't bother me too much.

Drone tech makes me kind of sad. If both a shield tech and a drone tech equip the same drone, the bonus the drone tech gets, the bonus they're sacrificing 8 shields per level for? +1 drone damage per level. The default drone reduces the gap to 5 shield/level, but loses out on any damage bonus. But because tech specialists can make drones okayish at level 9, they're always going to be balanced around that point and stay kind of terrible for everyone else before that. I like Tamwolf, but it's annoying to feel like I'm shooting myself in the foot by using them.
It might be a deliberate decision that drones are really only viable for tech specialists. It makes sense thematically.

Yeah, but you choose between massive defenses or an okay third attack, it doesn't seem balanced. Neither is Charge Weapon vs Overcharge, but I don't wanna bring it up too much because I love Charge Weapon.
Some considerations:
The biggest benefit to Attack Drone is gaining access to Tamwolf 2.0. If you want Siegwulfe instead, or are happy with Tamwolf 1, just taking Drone Control at 9 instead of Deadly Shock allows you most of the benefit of Attack Drone without having to give up your shield bonus.
The default Attack Drone is also ranged, while Tamwolf and Siegwulfe aren't.
Drones can be hacked by certain enemies (Sex Bots, Punk Security Operative) to be used as a Lust attack against you.

yeah picking up the extra drone damage is a nice option for shield techs that don't know what to do with their accessory slot. I prefer the keeping the augmentation bracers but having a source of kinetic damage with tamwolf 2.0 and Siegwulfe isn't a bad idea.

To add on, the attack drone perk does the base drone damage by the electric damage type. It also adds 1 damage/level to any equipped drone (that is, not the default one).

While I don't see any suggestion of that in the perk description, science says you're right. Science also says that the shield bonus is bugged, and you don't lose it when equipping a drone. (Previously it was bugged so you only got the bonus when a drone was equipped...)

But... the bangable NPCs heavily skew female. If you play a straight dude, there should be so much bobs and vagene that you can barely keep track of it all.
Females using a hardlight strap-on or a penis on your Steele's rear won't make you (or your Steele...) homosexual. Also, shock horror, playing a female Steele may also entail anal, both giving and receiving... from females and males alike.

Then, the issue is that the game forces your male character into kinks you think are gay somehow even if performed by a female.
I have a similar one with some writers being okay with the player using Steele for whichever one wants Steele to do/be and other writers constantly giving dialogue to Steele as a reminder that you are roleplaying Steele as opposed to whatever you want Steele to be.

Aye! I don't consider it gay if it's a female/herm the one fucking the male in the ass or giving a prostate massage. Also don't consider it gay if it's masturbation either, but I understand why some people might. Now that I think about it, there are lots of M/F sex scenes which end up with something up your ass, but most of those explicitly state that.
I don't like giving dialog to Steele, I try to avoid it, except when it's truly necessary for roleplay purposes. Otherwise, I go with "you tell him/her (whatever)", so the player can imagine his/her own version of the dialog.
I would honestly make planets look more like planets like 60% you press NSEW. And you either get an enemy or nothing. Though what I'm saying is I want it to have more background by making exploration more fun like finding some random stuff while exploring or finding new areas in the map when you done the requirements to do so. Like I like Tarkus by its nature. While I was there I was surprised I had the bot. (Now my kitsune battle-maid) in codex it was a top-level tech so I was like "This place is awesome I may score some good creds or get high-gear and it did not. Except I keep fighting those ridiculously high hp opponents and those rabbits and some of the this-would-be- lizard except they look like furries. Although I'm pretty sure this is early cause I'm currently in a planet where they wanna fucking glass it and it looks amazing I wanna see where it goes. And I don't have complaint in any NSFW related stuff it's good. Just that planet part cause I feel like not being an explorer cause ain't that rushers mean right?
You have been warned anyway. Not like you can do anything to it other than avoiding it completely. Besides you can use load to avoid being poled. But to be honest I don't like seeing my character have it. It crushes my image to what I want my character to be. (Surprisingly I haven't fucked anyone in game till myrellion)
That Adjatha makes everyone look like a blow-up doll. Can't say I like the style.
That makes for dreadfully dull scenes. Hard to write chemistry when one of the characters is a mute and doesn't feel strongly about anything one way or the other.
In general I'm glad TiTS got away from all that mute protagonist nonsense with a personality system that throws out a few generalised archetypes for writers to stack some dialogue on. It may not conform perfectly to your image of what the character is but it sure is a lot more fun to read and write.
