When you have a save that you want to keep so badly but some bug ends up deleting that save and you gotta do everything you did over again while not being able to even do half the stuff you originally could do.
My gun spec merc with basically no strength cannot beat them, even on easy.
It's literally impossible. And that erks me.
At least with that annoying prick Kane, you can sidestep his nonsensical super counter crap with direct damage abilities, like carpet bomb.
No, you can beat them, they're just not easy.
Especially since Mercs have more HP and a healing ability, given they ignore my Tech's massive shielding with most attacks. With extra Fortification and Defense items, and a weapon that doesn't suck, I really don't think you should have a huge problem.
If it helps, I think they're vulnerable to Corrosive or Fire.
Edit: Oh, I've never even tested the Hirudo Devourer on them, if you wanna give that a shot.
No, I cannot. Even save scumming, I can never get free of the initial grapple.
From 0 to 100 without ever being able to take an action other than struggle.
Eventually, I just hit the gym and raised my strength to 35. Even so, I have been 0 to 100 from grapples more times than I care to admit.
Edit: Mind you, this is at level cap. I'm not under leveled in the least.
You need Reflexes to avoid being caught in the first place, which makes it easier. I'd recommend maxing your stats, there's no reason not to.
Reflex's are capped. 50.
I still get caught all the time.
The other thing, of course, is that Quadomme's auto catch you at the beginning of the fight if your strength is below a certain point, or you have a fire or acid weapon. You'd have no way to know the latter part unless you check the wiki though.
In other words, it's an unavoidable enemy which has "Have this or just lose" as a characteristic. It's also two levels higher than the average enemy level in the area.
The fact that it also has " If I take ranged damage, I am automatically immune to all ranged damage for the next three turns, interrupting all multi-shot abilities." is a special kind of poorly thought out irritant. The easiest way to beat the thing is to have enough strength to break free and then flirt a few times.
Which is just cancerous, frankly. I can get through pretty much every fight in this game with 15 str. Not these guys though. In other words, the only reason I bother with strength at all is to not immediately lose against a non-boss, unavoidable enemy that is substantially stronger than every other enemy in the region. For. No. Reason.
Well then I don't know what to tell you, I haven't lost to them after I reloaded after my first encounter.

If you don't choose anything and try and nope out of it, Holiday gives you the Sabotaged Mask. I found this out myself the hard way.
Honestly, given how much people tend to bitch about forced TF, I'm surprised this hasn't caused more of a ruction.
Well most of the people who say they don't like the forced tf are told to just change themselves back because it's not that hard to get credits of tfs. Kind of annoying when told to by many people constantly to just suck it up and just change yourself back.
Plus the situation kinda sucks a bit more when you realize that no matter what you are kinda forced to take a TF that changes something.

This is what I call a Stewart Lee post where you're not sure if the intent of it is directed at either party or both simultaneously.
Couple of things I can't stand:
How Steele is aroused by any and all things- not into most (if any) of the women in this game, so it's annoying to lose to teasing enemies that I don't even find attractive.
How there are barely any male npcs that aren't traps- and the male npcs that are there are mostly female orientated.
How you need a vagina to get locked into the breeding stock things on NT.
BOTHRIOCS. I hate them, I can't get from point A to point B without getting knocked up by them- not really into the spider-like insectoid thing they got going on.
How the authors write about breasts- something about reading 'looks like they have H-cups' gets really irritating after reading for the 4th time- why is the exact size so important? More of a nitpick than anything
Bimbos. Not my thing and won't ever be, wish there was a character like Rathazul (i think thats how you spell it) from COC, where you could get/make a potion or something to De-bimbofy characters.
Nyreans-I never really read up on the Nyreans until literally 5 minutes ago but after talking to Seifyn, it makes me feel some kind of way about it- All the woman of the species are just, really, really rapey; but the males don't mind?
Last thing; how some characters complain about your character not being female (ie, male raskvels).

Before I really say anything isn't really directed to the quoted but to the others that will read this if they do. Don't be so quick to jump against the players who play the game and don't like some of the things in it, no game is perfect and TiTs isn't a perfect. I'm not saying side with someone who will call the game shit, but just empathize with the person who played and had something that they had that they hated happen to them and if you can help them.
I understand how it gets annoying that Steele gets randomly aroused, you can even get highly aroused while you have the Ice queen perk, but have you checked your character's libido it's something that increases lust, it's an annoying thing that can sometimes really screw you over in game
Yeah Breast description in game is repetitive and some of the only times you see breast that aren't above C-cups are on characters with less content and are almost bimbo like, because you don't see Fisianna and Paige with breast that are bigger than their heads.
Bimbos are a thing that will run this game into the dirt, I fear that sooner or later that that being a bimbo will be the way the game ends and in a good end and not a bad one.
I personally feel bad for bimbos because while they are happy I feel that are held back by their libido and have no chance of ever doing much without lying on their back or being on their knees. I know this is a porn game and that people can argue that, but there are characters like Paige and Fisianna, great characters in a porn game. Then they make me feel pretty sad because you have people like Reaha and Mitzi, Reah worried that her sister is gonna have to take the treatment when she gets older and had to run away from home so she wouldn't be a bimbo like the rest of her family, then you have Mitzi who was a genius but captured by pirates and forced into being a bimbo and stuck the way she is now.
Personally I like bug based characters but the bothric are just off to me. They are a race that don't like genatila but have an urge to lay their eggs into others, but they don't like genatiles it's like a strange thing I don't get. I understand that one of the things they do is egg your anus, but it's like how do they egg and get off to it when they don't like genatiles. It's like they thought of a spider being that hates sex but lies to everyone and really enjoys it.
Trials does feel like a game where it's better to play as a female, trap, or herm. Mostly a herm, and it almost times makes you wonder if people think your weird in game becaue you are just a male. Then there is also the lack or well absence of the gay content only in some places, I'll admit I don't go for it but I can understand wanting it like how I wish for more sole female characters in game instead of getting with a female then finding out they are a trap in the bed room and then not being able to back out of the sex sometimes, I would say that the game is more focused on a Steele that's a herm than a Steele that's female.
Mostly all if not alot of races or beings in game are rapey and want to rape the character with only a handful of enemies that are willing to ask you if you want to have sex. I won't use the, it's a porn game argument, but will say that it's messed up lore in the game and it probably won't change unless someone is paid to do it.
There's a number of things i hate in game, like going to a new planet and seeing a weapon worst than my own but coating more, and I don't mean I have a weapon i got from doing something like someone quest, I mean like a bought weapon.
Or the stds and lack of people who could treat them being close by so you can get rid of them quickly or get medication to stop it from changing you.
Or the ship content that has yet to show up when people just want more storage.
Or the fact that some crewmates have just been forgotten about and may never get content on them till someone comissions it or the artist remembers it.
Or bugs in the backers build that ruin saves you have from when the game was in its infancy and force you to delete the save and start over from beginning.
Remember, these aren't people trashing the game, just people who have had things happen to them in game that they just hate. So please don't be rude, don't tell people things like.

After reading most of the replies here, I'm kinda happy we can all just be honest about this game. Yeah, there's a bunch of bimboes, yes, lack of good character development is rare (literally one of the reasons I made Jane), and yes, we all hate the quaddommes.
I already said I dislike Myrellion, but I have another gripe: how long it takes for your submissions to be noticed. I get that the staff isn't exactly big, and things take time, but... man, my Vanae doc has been sitting around unnoticed since September. And the worst part? I could get an email that says "your submission is bad and you should feel bad" and be declined after all that time. Like damn, just give me that fuchsia creator tag and I'm good.

One of my submissions was accepted and added, but it was small, so I understand not getting the creator tag. Ah well, only 9 more months for my other stuff.
It takes a lot more than a failed parasite and a hoseplay disaster with tidy sprinklings of miniscule, barely accepted content to get purple.
Your writing and ideas need serious work before that notion can be taken seriously.

I don't want to be rude to you, but you should save your talents for some thing that derves the energy. Tits ain't worth the energy. Better yourself in other avenues if you can and work on something that will be bigger than This game.
