If you're willing to overlook the Four Arm tentacle cocked Ausar Dane why is height that big of an issue in a future/setting where people are HEAVILY modded.
I mean, it's been established in a few threads that a lot of people wanna be taller, and can be outlandish when making a character, so I don't think someone modding themselves to 10' is unrealistic, not is finding a much taller species than our own like the Suula. And don't forget that world record heights for humans have been over 8' tall. What I most find weird about the initial complaint is that is specifies women, regardless of genitals, which reminds me of a guy I knew that was 5'4" and wouldn't date a girl that was taller than him.

Look, people are weird, and it's not like there's any kind of objective standard about what breaks immersion. I'm just saying that having people as big as a goddamn elephant breaks my immersion and I don't like it. This is a thread where you state what you don't like about the game. I'm not calling for those characters to be changed or anything.
I don't find it unrealistic that people want to be taller, I find it unrealistic that they can be that tall.
While the tallest recorded human was just under 8'11ft, Robert Wadlow had to wear leg braces and had little feeling in his legs or feet as a result of his size. Clearly there are problems with being that big (I'll refer back to the square cube law), and I'd think you'd probably need to get cybernetics in your legs if you wanted to be that tall. Especially if you wanted to be even taller.
Thing is, you're talking specifically about humans without mod support having such health problems starting from a certain size. I'd wager TiTS mods counter such problems by adapting the TFed body properly with traits from alien species that -can- support such sizes while bipedal.
Seems like a poor handwave to me. Then we get into the question of how those species can support such sizes while being bipedal.
That's not a problem at all, the solution is modifying blood circulation and increasing bone density, and since you can grow entire limbs without circulatory or bone marrow issues I'd say it isn't a problem. You can even turn into a plant, and the guy who sells you the mod stresses how incredibly ridiculous the idea is. The species themselves differ so drastically in the first place that some can survive water pressure or temperatures that would kill a human, and have planetary gravity much higher or lower than Earth, so enhancing your body to be better is easy. In fact, the species who come from planets with different gravity are exactly what you'd be looking for, lower gravity would be adapted for better circulation and higher would be adapted for stronger bones to resist the weight of your own body.
It's aliens man, every super tall character so far has been an alien.. These aren't humans you're complaining about, so all this comparing them to us is rendered moot.
Aliens can get away with this shit, they have way different limits anatomy-wise compared to our kind. Stop trying to apply rl science to fictional alien species.
Adaptation, different composition, skeletal structures that are more accommodating to greater sizes, generally less weight than an average adult human....they're aliens for a reason. They -don't- function exactly like Earth's creatures. There's plenty of reasons it's possible without having it be dismissed as a "handwave".
On that note, there's specific examples of alien species modifying themselves to be able to deal with different environments, so handling something minor like body size with a mod is far from out of the question. Heck, Gryvain mod themselves to breathe oxygen (which their natural breathing system doesn't respond to) and to be able to deal with their own body weight for longer amounts of time in environments where they can't fly naturally (they usually strengthen their wing musculature).
To be fair, I really get where Grimnir is coming from. I can hand wave a lot of stuff, but just the ridiculous of knowing that 10ft is elephant sized. That the alien sitting next to me in the bar is as tall, or even taller than that gives just such a silly image. And then I wonder about basic accommodation like chairs, doorways, sinks and etc. How tall are they? Who's being screwed over by things being too high up/low down?
That's easy to answer - the very tall and very short creatures. The average height of most aliens we encounter are roughly around caucasian adult human sizes, so if you're, say, a Gabilani or Raskvel, you're quickly too short for things; same goes for aliens much bigger than average, either in length (like naga), mass and leggedness (like taurs) or height (anyone else who's "too big").
At least one or two scenes mention as much, at least for taurs (I think Ushamee and Aina have text regarding that particular problem), spaces need to be made taur-friendly (wide entrances, taur-friendly spots on public transport, which there are never enough of, particularly long household items like broomsticks etc.). In the end, it really means a lot of "irregular" people will have to compromise since I doubt most public spaces go out of their way to provide much in terms of appropriate accommodation for outliers because it tends to mean extra expenses for custom objects (like chairs that can tank a taur and not crumble like a pitiful house of cards). What's more likely is that there are establishments that cater specifically to such a clientele (very huge and roomy for unusual body types and heights above 8ft, small and cozy ones run by aliens who're short themselves, like Raskvel, Gabilani and Toves...)
What I'm saying is, you don't have to do much mindbending magic to figure out how this can reasonably work.
1. If you want a more grounded explanation, we're almost never given a super detailed explanation of how the different TiTS races evolved (although a good portion of the information the codex entries do provide for the larger races actually really does support my point). The environments on their planets could have favored organisms of larger stature, just like how elephants and dinosaurs came to be on our own planet. Sure, this isn't the most likely thing in the universe, but the universe is quite literally infinite and, according to TiTS, very densely populated with sentient species, so it's far, FAR more likely that we'd have a couple large species hanging around than it would be to have none. Sure, the ratio might be a bit off due to the fact that having a partner of larger stature and/or a species based off of creatures that would require large bodies to function are fairly common fetishes and this IS a porn game, but the existence of these larger-than-average humanoids is practically guaranteed from a statistical perspective.
2. For a more abstract explanation, the square cube law only applies to what we have encountered and studied in the observable universe. Theoretically, the biological structure of the aliens we encounter in the game could be completely different in ways modern humans couldn't ever have foreseen. Hell, there are even psionics and a bit of actual space magic mentioned multiple times in the game, so the explanation might not even be based in "normal" biology or physics. It's a PORN GAME set in SPACE in a FICTIONAL universe that takes place in the FUTURE; there are literally infinite possible explanations for the larger average stature of certain races and they're all perfectly reasonable in-universe because we have wayyyy too little information about how this universe functions to say otherwise. Remember that, at the end of the day, what the writers say goes for the canon of the game and there are way too many possible explanations for the existence of their creations that it's unreasonable to argue that they made a mistake of some kind that causes the universe to lack internal logical consistency that results in a loss of immersion.
I'm not saying it's wrong to feel the way you feel, because discussing things in the game that bother us is the entire point of this thread, but logically I really don't think your immersion shouldn't be broken by large aliens and I hope this explanation helps you see that so you can enjoy the game more.

Me and someone else don't like how people and bimbos in game are getting bigger and bigger in game. While yes you can argue that they are aliens sure, imagine if your character is like normal height within the 5ft or 6ft category and like an alien that's around 9ft rides you or thrust into you. Now either you're a pancake or a finely split log. Even tho I bring up their height as a thing you should consider the weight some of these massively tall people would have because if someone that has super melons for tits and a massive bulge wouldn't just be averagely endowed.
But that's just me really.
Something else that ticks me off and I think I said it before was the fact there were characters just forgotten in game, people that have poteinetal out the ass but doesn't get anything more than a quickie then dropped and forgotten about. Like Myrellion, a handful of people on the first planet like Burt, tanis and the dude who owns like the scrap yard, then on Tarvos there is the gabani dude and the spa that's kinda just forgotten about.
Another thing that kinda ticks me off is that there isn't a scene like the bath scene from Coc, the communal bath, it was a great scene where you got all of your followers some of which more evil than others and others way too good for the world they were in they would all get in the bath or give some comment on it. And there is wasted potential because there is a spa or spas in the game and even a moment to have a beach scene because of the surf shop.
Now I could and would go on a tangent of centaur and wanting driders, but I know it ain't coming, nothing new or exclusive to only taurs besides the one crew mate, will there be much, and it makes me a bit upset that there probably never will be because it's hard to code.
Another thing that kinda ticks me off is that there aren't custom mods in the game, and by custom I mean the shit that npcs can get to get something they want without having to have like 6 tails and needing to save scum to get or save edit to get. How come there are mods to just give us a specific thing we want without having to change into half the other race to get it or an alien abomination to get just demon eyes.
Something that also gets on my nerves is alot of male charaters are pushed to the side and forgotten about while fems traps bims and like futas are pushed to the front. For instance Kase he's been in the game how long, then you could say some of the male new Texans males and even that one gay dude who runs the shop on N.T.
If it's not a whole new guy most of these guys are pretty much forgotten and not given much content. I know someone's gonna be like." The author for Kase is busy with other projects so he can't get to it." Or ." Well everyone like bimbos traps and futas."
But this section isn't me calling them to work on the guys, it's me complaining about how they are ignored.

Non Bipeds don't get nearly as much love as everything else which I agree sucks.
Yeah, the game is HEAVILY weighted in favour of female/feminine NPCs, to the point where Dane, one of the few unique ones, has just up and been replaced.
The bath scenes would be a nice touch but the clown car that is the current ship needs to be dealt with before whole crew activities are in. It first needs to be believable we can actually have that many crew.
The lack of custom TF items are why I save edit, only way to get exactly what I want without having to sacrifice 1000 lambs to RNGesus.
The massive endowments thing would be more....believable if more NPCs had the Kiro/Player problem where they get immobalised if it's too big. That however is WAY too much coding and work to realistically ask/expect anyone to do.
All in all most "issues" anyone (including me) have mostly come down to preferences, which might even be addressed later on since the game is still unfinished. It's worth saying that even though this is the "Gripe Thread" if any of us really had major issues we wouldn't be here in the first place.
Don't get me started on the ships, they are feeling like an empty promise with each day that goes by in my opinion, and when I point it out to people they seem to not want to see the truth in it and call me a negative dick, not my problem you can't see past the sweet lies they tell you or delaying it till there is no new ships besides one other one. I'm sorry i get like that it's just the creators can get so sensitive when you point out flaws sometimes.

Nope, Dane was swapped out with another bodyguard, who is a pure female Suula. While it is nice to get more Suula's in the game, i'm not sure if it's worth trading Dane for another Suula, especially when Dane is most likely going to be gone for months if not years with the way that some of the characters that have been in the game for years still have unfinished content, like Azra the only other Suula besides the new bodyguard iirc.
Dane was replaced as a bodyguard by that suula, because Jack/Jill was reasobably displeased with him (this whole thing with imprisonment at Merillion, y'know). And he is supposed to come back as a companion. It wasn't planned as a way to eliminate him for months, it's just how the development of TITS works
The fuck so the guy here since the beginning of the game gets side bumped by the sky shark, what happened to adding in Grayvains there are pretty much just 3 in the game including Steele of they are one.

And yes, while I can hand wave a lot of things it takes me out of the scene when I realise the character trying to sex me is taller than an elephant. Or their dick is as tall as me. Elasticity is a thing, but no one's so elastic they can smoosh their organs for the D. Again, I know nothing will be done about it and it is a me problem, but it's a gripe I have and this is the thread for em'.
While it does make sense for Steele's cousin to replace Dane because they are displeased with how well he's be doing his job when you know what kind of person Jack/Jill is, even if it would have been someone less spoiled and not as stuck up their own ass most people would still be likely to get a new bodyguard if said bodyguard is not doing the best job. It would still have been nice if he would have not been replaced without us having the option to recruit him, or even just getting more content before being replaced.
When he said replaced I thought he meant the body guard character of Dane was replaced by someone who else who we could recruit and thought it was the shark despite the fact Dane could be used.
Dane is going to be recruitable, but that hasn't been implemented yet.
Also, I'm turned off by hypers because it's honestly just stupid to have such a high percentage of your body to be breasts or dick, or have a 3 foot dick inside a 5 foot person.

You know that was one of my things I hated in game @Touchandgo it was guilt tripping the playat into taking in bimbos because the word fucked them up, or someone else fucked them up and saying no kinda tears you up on the inside.

I don't want to ever fuck Mitzi, but what happened to her is terrible and knowing how easy it would be for others to take advantage of her in Mitzi's current state is horrifying (Beth anyone?). I hate the immersion breaking responses/behaviors from Steele that stems from not being able to simply pick your sexual orientation. For example in my current playthrough, I simply talked to Ciaran and opened his email. Now my Steele is having forced gay dreams about him where my only choices are "naughty" and "nice" both of which lead to sexual scenes. Which means either I bite the bullet or I avoid sleeping off soreness until christmas is over.
Similarly I was enjoying chilling and working out with Mirrin. Which is also incredibly useful since it's the only reliable way of raising Willpower other than leveling. Now suddenly if I want to work out with Mirrin, I have to deal with these awkward scenes where Steele is constantly getting all hot and bothered looking at her junk.

I agree, Mitzi is one of the few characters that i won't interact with at all due to the way she is, first and foremost because of her grotesque breast size, and second due to how her personality is, and that we can't help her get better.
Now most of the characters in the game have breast sizes too big for my taste, but with most of them i can just imagine that their breasts are smaller than the game says they are, but with Mitzi her in game bust almost shows her from head to toe and that makes it hard to imagine her breasts to be smaller, Stella is another character who i have a hard time imagining her breasts to be smaller, but with Stella at least her ginormous breasts are still relatively smaller to her overall height when compared to Mitzi, and Stella seems to be a natural Bimbo whereas Mitzi is one due to being forced to take loads of drugs.
For me Stella is on the border of me not wanting to interact with her, and i only interact with her to get her knocked up (Don't judge me)
After the game guilt tripped me when i said no to Mitzi i decided to never free her in any future play throughs i do of TiTs and just let the Police deal with her.
Trying to gulit trip me to do something always backfires when i notice that it's a guilt trip, for example: When crunchyroll is trying to guilt trip me in to giving them money, otherwise the animators over in Japan will starve, it just makes me not wanting to give money to crunchyroll especially when it seems to be their only marketing strategy, if the only thing crunchyroll has to sell me on their service is a guilt trip then how good is their service in the first place?
